Have you released a base game and add-on content across Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo? Have you handled build uploads, certification, and storefront setup yourself — not just overseen the process? If so, we want you on our team.
At Paradox Interactive, we’re looking for a Senior Release Manager who can take ownership of complex, multi-platform launches from start to finish. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, and we need someone ready to step in now and lead simultaneous releases across PC and consoles.
Your Mission
This is a senior leadership role with portfolio-wide responsibilities, requiring both strategic oversight and direct leadership of release management practices across all Paradox Interactive products.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end release management strategy for a diverse portfolio of titles, ensuring smooth, timely, and compliant launches across PC (Steam, Epic, GOG) and console platforms (Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox). This includes advising leadership on release readiness, aligning production and publishing teams, and ensuring processes are both efficient and scalable across the organization.
In this role, you will:
Oversee multi-platform releases across the full game lifecycle, partnering with production to integrate platform, compliance, and publishing requirements from early development through post-launch.
Own Compliance & Submissions – Serve as the company’s subject matter expert for first-party processes, building relationships with Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platform partners.
Shape Process & Policy – Design, document, and implement release management workflows that scale across products, teams, and regions.
Drive Risk Management – Anticipate release challenges, implement mitigation plans, and act as the escalation point for high-priority issues.
Guide & Support – Share expertise with Release Managers, contribute to best practices, and help raise the quality and efficiency of release operations across the team.

You will operate at both a strategic and tactical level—ensuring day-to-day releases run smoothly while also improving how the company ships games over the long term.
The Skills we are searching for
5+ years of experience in release management, production, or equivalent roles in the games industry, with at least 2 years in a senior/lead capacity.
Proven track record of releasing and publishing at least one base game on multiple platforms, including at least one console release.
Deep understanding of the full game development lifecycle and its integration with publishing workflows. Extensive knowledge of first-party submission and certification processes for Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms.
Strong project management skills with experience using tools such as JIRA and partner portals. Experience leading and mentoring other release managers or production staff.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

On a personal level, you are an experienced leader who can manage complexity across multiple teams, platforms, and timelines. You are comfortable advising senior stakeholders, setting strategic priorities, and ensuring operational excellence in every release.

As a Senior Concept Artist, you will be a champion in the Concept Art Team. You will be entrusted with a large degree of freedom to define the art style, texture and richness of our games.
Responsibilities
Work with the Art Director and Leads to develop the look and feel of our game through thoroughly researched, richly detailed and extensively iterated concept art.
Craft detailed art, ranging from precise model sheets to full-screen illustrations, and marketing material.
Develop style guides, creative briefs and art quality benchmarks for outsourcing and the team.
Review and feedback on work produced by external artists.
Collaborate closely with the Art Producers to breakdown and delegate tasks.
Mentor less experienced artists and lead by example with organised workflows and efficient processes.

Requirements
8+ years experience creating concept art to a high standard - from scratch - with a focus on character design but also including vehicles, environments and buildings.
Mastery of 2D art fundamentals: Anatomy, Composition, Lighting, Material Expression, Color Use, etc and highly skilled in Photoshop.
Experience with 3D (for example: ZBrush, Maya or Sketchup).
Strong creative process to translate gameplay requirements into visual designs: information gathering, research, thumbnailing, detailing, and iterations.
Articulate in contextualizing decisions, communicating ideas and giving and receiving feedback in English
Vision and restraint to create concepts with tangible value over technical intricacy
Ability to create, adapt, and iterate, within a variety of artistic styles

The right candidate shows a solid understanding of the strategy game genre and a passion for worldbuilding. Mentoring experience or additional skills like familiarity with ZBrush, Maya & Sketchup, Keyshot, Octane or 3D Coat would be a bonus but not essential.
This is a great opportunity to have a huge impact with the world's leading developer for Grand Strategy games!
As part of the recruitment process, you may be asked to perform a test. Visa mindre

The primary responsibility of the Lead Artist is to guide the artists assigned to a project maintaining the vision set by the Art Director (AD) during pre-production. They Interact with the artists on the project daily to review assets and maintain quality to expectations. The Lead Artist also works closely with the Project Leadership team, UX, Marketing, and other project disciplines to ensure smooth communications with the PDS Art team.
The Lead Artist should have extensive experience and an interest in driving and pushing the development of our 2D art, involving mentoring our 2D artists (general, UI and concept) in their artistic growth.

The Lead Artist should know and understand the design of the game, coordinate between design and art, and ensure that game design features are visually communicated.
The Lead Artist will also coordinate with the Art Producer on the planning of asset production, and ensure that the project can smoothly transition into bulk production of assets.
The Lead Artist will keep the AD up to date on the progress of the production, and include them in bigger decisions. Changes and expansions of style and direction is done in cooperation with an AD.

Info about the role as Lead Artist
Lead Artists of different disciplines will share the responsibility between them. As such, there may be more than one Lead Artist per project.
A certain amount of time will be set apart for each Lead Artist, to drive R&D and innovative work/projects within and between departments.
It is not required for an Lead Artist to create art for the art-led project, rather when time allows they can assist in the creation of art if all their core responsibilities are met
The Lead Artist can be changed but it is desired for a game to stay with the same art lead over a long time. A suitable time to change Lead Artist is when a game is released.
Responsibility during the development of a full-game is expected to take more time from a Lead Artist than for expansions Visa mindre
