As a Data Architect for Forest Data Services, you'll have the opportunity to work on an exciting project called Precision Forestry, which aims to build a digital twin of our forest assets. We are currently implementing a digital twin of our forest assets, a database containing best available predictions of different attributes related to different geographical forest areas. You will work together with the data platform ETL development team and co-ordinate activities with GIS and AI/ML teams, who are preparing external data into the platform. You'll also contribute to improving our data management practices, making all our forest data assets findable, available, and trusted. Additionally, you'll have the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies such as Azure, Snowflake, DBT, PowerBI, and Azure DevOps. You are not alone in these tasks, there is the whole Forest data service team of 16 persons to support you. Furthermore, you will collaborate with other IT teams from division and group level.
Your location will be either Sweden (Falun or Stockholm), Finland (Helsinki) or Czech (Ostrava) and you will be working in Forest Division. You will report to Head of Data Services.?We apply hybrid way of working meaning that you can work from home in Sweden, Finland and Czech.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a person with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in cloud data architectures, BI solutions, ETL-/ELT processing, and data warehousing. Your proficiency is based on a degree in computer science, information systems, or e.g., business degree with a specialization in data & analytics. You should be able to guide development teams in data modeling, data integrations, and data management topics, and review the deliveries. In addition, we hope you have a consulting mindset and can turn internal customer needs into data solutions. You are a good communicator, and you can communicate fluently in English. Forest business understanding and/or understanding of GIS data is an advantage, but not a must. We hope you enjoy the initiative and actively promote ideas to further develop the analysis.

About the position
As a Management Trainee you have two main responsibilities in your role, roughly 50% supporting our M&A agenda and various business projects and rest of the time as an executive assistant supporting your manager with various daily operational tasks.

Vem söker vi?
Som miljöspecialist är det viktigt att du känner till aktuella lagar och regler runt miljö- och tillståndsfrågor. Din kunskap bygger på högskole- eller universitetsexamen inom miljöteknik/miljövetenskap samt några års yrkeserfarenhet inom området. Tidigare arbete inom tillståndsgivande myndighet(er) är meriterande.

We are now looking for a Segment Account Manager to join our Formed Fiber team. You will be responsible for building business with formed fiber packages to the segment food service and to maximize the value and generate profitable growth for the business unit. You will develop the sales pipeline, identify business opportunities and establish plans to secure execution of the account strategy. As a Segment Account Manager, you are responsible to sell existing products, as well as new development of products within the segment. About the position
As a Senior Investment Project Manager you will be responsible for starting, managing and coordination of investment projects within its different phases, both in Sweden but also international projects. Som maskinförare har du det viktiga uppdraget att avverka och transportera virke ut till farbar väg där det sedan hämtas för vidare transport till industrier. Vårt mål är att avverka skogen på ett så skonsamt sätt som möjligt där du blir en viktig spelare i att fatta beslut om hur det ska gå till.
Du tillhör ett maskinlag där du kör skördare och skotare i både gallring och slutavverkning. I det dagliga arbetet jobbar du tillsammans med dina kollegor mot uppsatta mål och ni planerar och utför arbetet själva inom gruppen. Målet är att genomföra uppdraget så kvalitativt och effektivt som möjligt till bästa möjliga kostnad.
Förutom körning så ingår även markarbeten som service och underhåll av maskinerna samt ekonomisk uppföljning. Miljön och de kontrollsystem du arbetar med är digital och IT- baserad.

Responsibilities

Arbetsuppgifter
Bangårdsoperatören tar emot inkommande vedtåg till Skoghalls Bruk. Detta innebär att gå ut på trafikverkets spår och hämta vedtåget för att sedan rangera in vagnarna mot renseri för lossning. Därefter iordningsställs vagnarna för avgång. Bangårdsoperatören hanterar också inkommande SECU-boxar på tåg från Göteborgs hamn. Dessa boxar lyfts av med en SECU kran. När boxarna väl är fyllda med material så lastar bangårdsoperatörerna på boxarna på tåget och rangerar ut vagnarna i väntan på avgång.


Det dagliga arbetet innebär att du driftar ett diesellok V10 med radiodosa. Du gör inspektionsronder på bangård och lok där syftet är att upptäcka fel i anläggningen och ansvarar då för att initiera och i vissa fall beställa eller utföra underhållsinsatser i samråd med skiftledare. Du håller även i kontakter med kollegor inom angränsande område på andra avdelningar.


I det långsiktiga arbetet blir du som bangårdsoperatör delaktig i arbetet med ständiga förbättringar i syfte att utveckla vår verksamhet och våra produktionsprocesser och du kommer även att medverka i arbetsmiljöarbetet på sektionen.


Arbetstiderna för rollen som bangårdsoperatör är skiftgång genom kontinuerligt 3-skift med 6 skiftlag.

Rollen kräver att du obehindrat hanterar svenska i tal och i skrift samt att du har en god datorvana och gärna erfarenhet av system såsom SAP etc.

Stora Ensos ekonomifunktion arbetar utifrån en shared service center modell där redovisningen för de svenska enheterna ligger i Stockholm och Tallinn. Som en del i Stora Ensos globala Finance Delivery modell arbetar företaget med automatisering och digitalisering i finansprocesserna. Som Financial Controller kommer du på daglig basis att arbeta med processförbättringar, end to end processer, att säkerställa tillförlitligheten i redovisningen samt göra årsredovisningar och skatter för de svenska enheterna. Du arbetar i ett litet team och har möjlighet till varierande uppgifter utifrån kvalifikationer. Du kommer att ha kontakt med våra bruk i Sverige samt vårt finance delivery team i Tallinn och ge dem råd gällande dina ansvarsområden. Ditt arbete innefattar:

Kvalifikationer
För att lyckas i rollen har du universitets- eller högskoleutbildning i ekonomi, kombinerat med minst 4 års erfarenhet av liknande arbetsuppgifter. Det är meriterande om du har erfarenhet från ett större internationellt bolag, SAP, alternativt ett större ekonomisystem. Utöver det är du flytande i både svenska och engelska.

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Alliance Management for our Innovation business unit. You will be working in the Biomaterials Division and you will report to the VP of Emerging Business & Alliance Management. Location: Stockholm.

As Senior Manager for Alliance Management, your purpose will be to enable strategic growth through successfully establishing alliances and partnerships according to the division’s business needs. Additionally, proactively identify new partnership and M&A targets and whenever required, lead processes and cross-functional teams to successfully close major transactions.
The Role
Your main responsibilities will be to:
• Lead a portfolio of projects to establish alliances, collaborative and equity-based partnerships to support the business needs of existing and new platforms within Biomaterials Division
• Prepare valuation models following core valuation techniques and perform in-depth analyses of value creation with focus on long-term growth, ROIC and cash flows; develop joint strategic maps that capture the partnership goals
• Lead, plan, and support all the due diligence activities across all functional areas such as financial, commercial, operations, tax, sustainability and R&D
• Propose deal structures, lead negotiations and manage transaction agreements
• Lead, plan and support as applicable post-close integration activities
• If the alliance or partnership requires changes, lead negotiations to achieve the necessary contractual amendments
• Provide a one-stop shop to the organization on every collaboration by tracking performance and ensuring key deal terms and obligations are fulfilled
• Identify new M&A targets fitting Biomaterials Division strategic needs
• Support and when needed lead M&A cases relevant to Biomaterials new businesses
• Prepare reports and make presentations to steering committees for informed decision-making
• Raise awareness internally regarding the value-creation potential of alliances and partnerships and mentor the organization on how to collaborate effectively; contribute to positioning the company as the best company to partner with.

Do you enjoy laboratory work and want to utilize your knowledge in material science and work in a global renewable materials company? Do you share our belief that everything made with fossil-based materials today, can be made from a tree tomorrow? Then this could be something for you!


The Biomaterials innovation organisation focuses on identifying business opportunities and developing new products in markets for renewable materials and bio-based chemicals. Our aim is to work closely with our customers to understand their strategies and devise solutions to support and boost their competitive advantage.


You will perform critical experimental lab work, such as evaluating new hypotheses, test formulations and analyse results, which is vital for new material development. Sample preparation will be important when validating that new material innovations reach desired properties set in close collaboration with customers. This position is based in Stora Enso’s Innovation Centre in Stockholm. This is a temporary position, until the end of 2021.




Responsibilities and tasks


Plan and conduct material development by hands-on experimentation in the laboratories
Develop, modify and document methods for characterization
Perform material characterization to verify that critical specifications are met
Document experimental data and findings in reports and communicate to the team
Consider safety throughout all aspects of work and ensure safety standards in the laboratory are in line with procedures and routines.

Qualifications
In order to succeed in this role, you have minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in the areas of business controlling, preferably in an international setting. Previous Sales controlling, pricing analysis or industrial experience is seen as an asset. Your proficiency is based on a MSc Degree in economics, finance, business administration or other relevant professional qualification. Good understanding of IT systems, such as MS office applications is required for the position.

The ambition of Packaging Materials division is to be a global leader in circular economy with our high-quality renewable packaging materials based on both virgin and recycled fibre. Tasks
In this role you will lead the IRD Product Development, including allocation of the resources and competencies to handle projects efficiently within the unit, and as part of IRD staffing process. Develope the methods, tools and procedures and align organizational focus and activities with other IRD Units.
Your main tasks will be to:
· Develop ideas for improvement of existing, and development of new, packaging material products and related production processes in line with the Divisional IRD Agenda and Strategy.
· Develop, plan and implement workflow efficient procedures and handling of human resource tasks.
· Support the creation of R&D contracts with strategic R&D partners and customers.
· External R&D mapping in the Research Area, take part in steering groups in relevant internal and external forums.
· Actively contribute to the overall work in IRD Leadership Team also in fields and topics outside own IRD Unit, and actively participate in IRD strategy work.
· Work safety within the IRD unit.
· Responsible for Product Development cost center follow-up and budget.
· Maintain contact and share relevant information with other resource providers, internal stakeholders and customers.
· Identify and fill gaps within IRD unit.
· Monitor technology and competence development.
· Report inventions according to Packaging Materials IRD guidelines.
Requirements
To thrive in this role, you have a MSc degree in a related field, combined with min of 7 years of experience in demanding R&D or other managerial positions (incl. Management) in the pulp and paper industry. Experience in larger projects and/or line management is a merit. Proficient English, both written and spoken are required.
You have good knowledge of Stora Enso products, its processing, cost-base and end-use and a good analytical skill.
You have leadership and co-operation skills, the ability to act as leader and co-worker in a development organization and in major projects in collaboration with colleagues within as well as outside Stora Enso.
Good ability to actively market, sell and communicate the results from projects as well as services of the Packaging Materials IRD organization to internal customers. The work is conducted in projects, so strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in matrix organizations as well as communicating your findings is a necessity. You have an innovative attitude and find it natural and inspiring to develop and maintain a strong network within Stora Enso, with Stora Enso customers and with external R&D providers.
