We are looking for a product designer that will join the Spotify team!
What you’ll do
Design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches. You set the vision for the user experience and create the space for others to collaborate.
Work with small multi-disciplinary teams. You’ll partner closely with engineering, product, content and business folks to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges. You’ll provide the thought leadership to develop the right product strategy. Together, you’ll solve problems and come up with solutions that delight our users.
Be autonomous. You’ll take full ownership of your work, and you take responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way.
Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes.
Work with both engineer and product personnel to conceptualize, prototype, test and polish experiences across our different applications.
Work from our office in Stockholm, Sweden.

Who you are
You have related experience designing at consumer-focused tech or media companies; experience designing internal tools is preferred.
You are an incredible designer with amazing design chops. You’ve shipped many products over the years, and understand what it takes to create awesome, consumer-oriented experiences.
You get nervous if you’re not sketching concepts, tweaking flows or polishing the designs that represent the big-thinking work. Your head is in the clouds while your feet are on the ground.
You’re a great communicator. You have the communication skills to help set up frameworks and brainstorm initial design concepts. You also have the ability to mentor others to deliver work, and make strategy come to life.
You have a people-focused design mentality. Even though you have incredible chops, you are constantly looking to hone your design instinct through user feedback. Whether through hands-on user research, or by designing options for an A/B test.
You have an online portfolio, or PDF that you can share with us
You are able to provide a brief explanation in your application of why you are excellent for this role, while highlighting your portfolio

We are proud to foster a workplace free from discrimination. We strongly believe that diversity of experience, perspectives, and background will lead to a better environment for our employees and a better product for our users and our creators. This is something we value deeply and we encourage everyone to come be a part of changing the way the world listens to music.

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join the Metadata Distribution squad within the Content Platform engineering organization. Our mission is to make content metadata accessible and useful by providing interfaces to unlock the creativity of internal teams and power core Spotify functionally. Content Platform brings content metadata to Spotify from music and podcast providers. We then model this metadata as Spotify’s core catalog entities – artists, albums, tracks, shows and episodes and make them available via datasets to the rest of the company.
You might already know us through the Metadata Entities product portfolio or Golden Datasets program. The team was one of the first squads at Spotify to develop a set of golden grade data products paving the road for other squads to adopt the practice. As we wrap up the company wide migration to the new generation of Track, Album and Artist entities, we’ll be switching our focus to podcast space and re-imagining our offering for podcast and new formats.
We keep pushing the quality standards to help our customers streamline their interactions with content metadata. Join us in this exciting space where you will get the chance to work with experienced data engineers and domain specialists, driving improvements in the quality of data at the source.
Build large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines with data processing frameworks like Scio and Dataflow on Google Cloud Platform.
Take an active role in evolving and promoting the new generation of metadata datasets being used by hundreds of users in Spotify everyday
Initiate and drive projects that involve Golden Datasets, data quality, domain driven design and modelling in the metadata space
Help craft and define standard practices for data production and consumption in areas such as data modeling, integrity controls, documentation, interface stability, versioning and flexibility
Promote the value of Golden Dataset production/consumption across the company
Collaborate with other software engineers, data scientists, ML specialists, and taking learning and leadership opportunities that will arise every single day
Work in multi-functional agile teams to continuously experiment, iterate and deliver on new product objectives
You’ll have the ability to impact other squads' efficiency, across the entire company

You have professional experience working in a product creation environment
