The position
As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) within the Content Infrastructure team you will be a key contributor to our core infrastructure, ensuring that we retain stable, up to date and modern systems to serve Viaplay Group's numerous services ranging from internal development to customer facing streaming.

You will join a team consisting of six generalists that are responsible for large parts of Viaplay Group’s core infrastructure. The team works with all three pillars of infrastructure (compute, network, and storage), which requires an open-minded approach to find unique solutions to unique tech problems. We encourage a culture of open communication and information sharing to achieve efficiency in not having to solve the same problems twice.

Examples of what we do:

- Openstack farms, backed by Ceph
- Responsible for internal networks and most?company?Internet traffic - we are a LIR, using four large providers
- Providing multi-petabyte storage to the group?
- Building and managing the?streaming?platform where all Viaplay Sports and streaming TV channels originate?(ingest, caches, load balancers)?
- We orchestrate most of it using Salt?


Technology decisions are made within the team, granting a high degree of freedom, but also the responsibility to do our due diligence in driving change within existing and new architectural challenges. You will take part in the complete flow from analyzing, implementing, and of course, governing the solutions.

We work in a rolling 24/7 oncall schedule. Once you are more comfortable with the interworkings of our systems, and received some training, you will join the rotation where you will have a week of oncall duties once every 7 to 8 weeks.

What we are looking for
You are goal-oriented, driven, and easily switches between tasks, at the same time keeping focus on completing the ongoing ones. We also believe you are accurate in your work and always set quality first.

We also value that you are easy to communicate with and have a service mindset both within your own team and towards stakeholders.

Successful candidates also meet the following requirements:

- You should be knowledgeable working in various Linux distributions
- You should have proficiency in a scripting or programming language, preferably in Python and/or shell
- You should possess the ability to read and understand source code when needed
- You should have experience in modern datacenter Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking
- You should be familiar with several types of filesystems
- You should be comfortable working with physical hardware


What we are saying with the above is that you need a lot of experience in different fields, but it is not necessary to be an expert in any of them. The team strives to be sysadmin fullstack - thus the most important requirement is a solid Linux base.

We are now looking for a German speaking Content Curator & Metadata Editor to strengthen the team in our office in Stockholm. Start: September 2022.



The position
Content curation is about selecting movies and series and exposing these to our customers. Our mission is to inspire our users with content that will make them stay on Viaplay. Most of the daily work is focused on planning, translations, editing, cross-functional syncs, and execution. The Content Curator & Metadata Editor will play a key role working with Viaplay for the German-speaking market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) where you will bring valuable insights to optimize the local Viaplay experience. In addition, you will be responsible for sourcing, translating, and editing material for content scheduled for these markets. You will ensure that the content meets our quality standards and is aligned with our brand tonality.

Your main responsibility is twofold:

- Secure and maintain metadata and artwork quality by creating and localizing compelling synopsis in German for NENT streaming platform, as well as editing images to be displayed on the Viaplay Platform.

- Curate and make the most out of our content catalogue, presenting inspiring titles to our consumers. The focus will be on our German-speaking markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)


Main tasks in the position:

Planning how to present our content for the German speaking market with themes and campaigns together with the Curation team, and then syncing our communication with other stakeholders (sports team, programming, marketing etc.). Working in different systems and applications (Photoshop, CMS tools, Microsoft Teams, Airtable, Movida etc.)

- Plan and update the content in all sections (start, movies, series, kids) on the Viaplay platform
- Translate and proofread texts and phrases, as well as copy in German
- Handle administrative tasks, such as creating content curation plans and aligning them with other teams and stakeholders
- Analyzing data to use as the guiding principle of how to curate the platform
- Follow the curation strategy and communicate with internal stakeholders as well as provide your own insights into how this can be developed
- Source, edit, and create material for content for the German speaking markets
- Ensure that all titles are categorized correctly and in line with Viaplay metadata guidelines
- Plan workload to accommodate multiple rolling deadlines and work ahead of deadline whenever possible for maximum flexibility

The Position
The DevSecOps Engineer will be a part of Technical Operations Center and will be responsible for the coordination of security initiatives across the Viaplay platform. You will be performing security engineering, building detective and preventive controls, developing systems to automate remediation and advise product and infrastructure teams on how to keep our platforms safe. Essentially, making sure security is built into the product during development and not applied at the final stage. We also believe that it is equally important that the role helps shape the culture regarding DevSecOps practices.

Our scalable platform offers high availability and is based on a container microservice architecture with Node.js and Java. We are hosted in AWS and are 100% cloud native. The daily work includes collaboration with Product & Engineering colleagues to make sure that NENTs security posture is rock solid.

The challenge ahead

- Improve the platform following your findings after conducting security assessments and audits, architecture reviews and threat modeling of the application stack

- Conduct penetration testing in collaboration with the Product & Engineering teams.

You have a background as a developer and we believe that you are currently working as a Developer, DevSecOps, SysAdmin or similar. The Position
Whether it’s on Viaplay or other customer facing channel, the Recommendations Platform team in the Data Science org weaves together personalized content scores from our ML teams with real-time data about the customer context to generate a fresh, always on, and on-point content recommendation experience. As a key member of Viaplay’s personalization ecosystem, you will contribute to the page generation strategy (i.e., how are titles prioritized for every customer), working with the Data Science Leadership team (the VP of Data Science and the Head of Applied Machine Learning) as well as Content and Product orgs.

What we are looking for
You are naturally curious and are unafraid of thinking about problems from what it means for the customer, its implications for how data should be designed and what software development paradigms are most appropriate. - 5+ years as a senior technical, comfortable with translating technical concepts for less technical audiences while guiding the development process with engineering teams.

Du förbereder så att studion är redo inför sändning och står sedan standby för att rätta till fel som kan uppstå under produktionen. Efter sändning delas erfarenheterna med Teamet och vi hjälps åt för att bli ännu bättre nästa gång.

Vi utökar hela tiden vår rättighetsportfölj, och med det, antal produktioner och inramningar av sportevent. Mycket sker via våra Studior på Ringvägen i Stockholm men arbetet kan även röra kontrollrum för remote-produktioner.

Vem vi söker
För tjänsten krävs att du arbetat med TV-produktioner tidigare. Om inte som E.I.C. så kanske som kontrollrumspersonal på andra positioner. Vi vill att du som söker ska vara bekant med uttryck som används inom TV-produktioner och förstå vilka roller som ingår samt deras funktioner.

Som tekniker bör du ha gedigen kunskap om bild och ljudsignaler och hur dessa kan fördelas och hanteras på ett riktigt sätt med bibehållen kvalité, kännedom om SMPTE-2110 är ett plus.

Vad rollen innebär
På NENT Sport arbetar vi med de bästa sportproduktionerna i världen alla dagar i veckan. We are looking for a Senior Lighting Artist to join our amazing production team! Under the guidance of the Technical Director and Producers, on our CG animated projects, the Lighting Artist is tasked with lighting shots from start to finish as they evolve from preliminary lighting through final renders.

The main areas of responsibilities include decide a workflow, scope the work, light the scenes for realtime performance in the game engine, and act as a helping hand to the Layout Artists in final rendering.?

Who we are looking for
- 5+ years of experience working in a professional environment with real-time lightning and/or rendering.
- Ability to lead and supervise other lighters/team members.
- Ability to craft a variety of lighting styles as necessitated by shot/sequences in a given project. Experience in photography is an asset.
- Strong understanding of principles of lighting (such as choice of light, placement of the light source, its direction and how to create the desired effect such as contrast and shadows). Knowledge of compositing a plus.
- Strong experience in realtime game engines such as Unreal and Unity.

The journey ahead
You will be working within the Department of Finance and report to the SVP Finance - Content, Sports & UK. A crucial aspect of your role will be to collaborate with and support the Content function working very closely with both the programming and acquisitions teams. The Content Finance team is split between the UK and Sweden and this role will be responsible for managing one direct report

What we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced finance professional to cover this role for a minimum of 12-18 months whilst the incumbent is on parental leave. The role is very forward looking so extensive experience of budgeting and forecasting is essential. The successful candidate will enjoy working in Microsoft Excel but have the desire and ability to drive change in processes and systems to deliver efficiencies and improvements. You will enjoy business partnering and working very closely with the business.

The position
We are now looking for a talented animator to work with keyframe animation for quadrupeds and enhancing recorded motion capture data for humanoids. For this you need a deep understanding of both 3D animation and storytelling to take every shot to the next level. There is also an opportunity available to lead the animation work in the pre-production and production phase for an upcoming project.

You will work closely with the animation team, layout team and the inhouse director to make sure we are doing everything we can to enhance the visual storytelling. The position

The position

The MCR in Stockholm is the central hub for all productions across the different markets, and as a TOM you’ll contribute by delivering quality content to millions of fans across Europe. NENT’s team of lawyers work cross border to service NENT’s business teams.

As Senior Legal Counsel or Legal Counsel you will be part of a team of lawyers supporting the Commercial, Marketing and Product, Data & Tech teams, with your primary role being to act as a business partner to NENT’s Product, Data & Tech team who develops and handles the underlying technical platform for the streaming service Viaplay as well as our linear TV-channels, and also provides inhouse technical services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Working close to the business, advising on legal risk management and developing effective risk mitigation strategies together with the business
- Drafting and negotiating material contracts (e.g. for broadcast services, play-out arrangements, OTT content delivery, conditional access, application development, IT procurement, software licensing etc), and supporting the business in implementing and coordinating such contracts through contract management and other processes

The journey ahead
As a Payment Specialist you will have a vital role in the expansion of the Viaplay service to new countries as well as optimising the payment setup for existing markets. You will report to and be working closely with VP Monetisation platforms as well as collaborate with many different teams in the company to make sure that Viaplay supports the most popular payment methods in each regions and at the same time are compliant to regulatory requirements.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

- Identify and most popular recurrent online payment methods for new countries
- Keeping track on new trends and technology within the Payments area

- Working with ensuring the level of compliance for Payment solutions globally, including PCI requirements for card payments
- Facilitate workshops together with internal and external stakeholders

What we are looking for
We believe that you are currently working within the payment industry or with a service where recurrent billing of subscriptions in central. You like to collaborate with both internal stakeholders as well as vendors to find solutions.

- 3+ years of experience in a similar role

- Experience with recurrent payments

As a Content Publishing Manager with Content Operations, you are working in the Content Publishing Team with five people who reports to you.

The Content Publishing team is responsible to ensure that content is scheduled according to guidelines, published on time and contribute to creating a premium experience for all users, regardless of platform or device. Your main responsibilities as a Content Publishing Manager are to support the team and have the overall responsibility for the publications to both NENT and partners platforms to ensure a stellar performance. - Stakeholder for improvements related to the scheduling and publishing workflow and systems.

The position
The role of the DPM entails being the first point of contact and dedicated data privacy responsible for the marketing function. This means representing and supporting the function in all data privacy matters, including ensuring that local implementation runs in line with set deadlines in NENT’s yearly Data Protection Governance Wheel and the Privacy Team’s different roadmaps and focus areas, as set from time to time. The DPM is responsible for building a network within his/her function, making sure privacy matters are properly and timely raised. The DPM should also work towards raising knowledge and awareness about privacy matters within his/her function. The Privacy Team works closely together to support one another and cooperation between DPMs themselves, but also between DPMs and Head of Privacy, is part of the daily work.

The journey ahead
In this role you will take ownership of the documentation for your function in our privacy management tool OneTrust, including the mapping of processing activities, documenting and reviewing systems, performing Data Protection Impact Assessments etc. You will also manage possible personal data breaches, in collaboration with stakeholders in the marketing function, the Head of Privacy and our IT/information security teams. You need to be self-driven and be prepared to take own initiatives, even if the Privacy team works closely together.

Furthermore, you will:

- Ensure implementation of internal documentation, policies, guidelines and instructions into your function;
- Conduct trainings and create awareness to help the marketing function understand how to handle data and apply policies;
- Assist in negotiations of Data Processing Agreements and be responsible for identifying high risk data processors in need for more in-depth due diligence procedure;
- Develop and manage structures and processes to assist peers within the Privacy team;


What we are looking for

The position
In this role you will work with focus towards software and in particular the Adobe suite. You will be part of a team working with technology involved in all parts of Live video production. From camera to transmission, supporting all different trades involved in production chain.

You will act as first and second line of support for software used by our Studios, Mediadesk, Editors, MCR and Transmission in their daily work.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Support all broadcast technicians and editors and make sure they have the IT-tools they need to perform their tasks.
- Be our local expert at Adobe CC suite.
- Other software and some AD-administration is also part of your daily tasks.

The position
As an Android developer, you will join Viaplay with the mission to further develop and maintain our mobile apps, keep them best-in-class and the main entry point to Viaplay. You’ll be involved in the whole development lifecycle (definition, development, maintenance, etc.) and everyday work will consist of development, design, complexity assessment, test and deployment and much more. We thrive in using cutting edge technology, always keeping up to date and constantly challenging status quo.

You will join a cross-functional team (client and backend development, QA, UI/UX, product management) and deliver engineering solutions aligned with technical and product long-term visions. The team delivers on clear goals based on our customer journey and are fully autonomous in how to create the best solutions to reach their goals. The challenge ahead
We want to strengthen our team with experienced Android Developers to join the journey of expanding Viaplay to new markets. After a successful launch in Iceland last year and the Baltics in March, our plans are to enter the US & Poland before end of the year. And this is just the beginning. We’ll also add 10 new markets by the end of 2023. Pretty exciting, right?

- Experience from building apps that are live on Google Play.
- Fluency in Java, Kotlin and Android SDK.

- Experience from media, streaming or advertisement.
