Om rollen
Du är en nyckelperson i vår säljorganisation i Skövde med omnejd. Du arbetar nära kunder och kollegor för att ta fram tekniska lösningar som skapar tydligt kundvärde. Arbetet är varierat och kombinerar teknisk expertis med rådgivning, utbildning och problemlösning.
Dina arbetsuppgifter
Ge teknisk rådgivning kring produkter och bearbetningsmetoder såsom svarvning, fräsning, borrning, gängning samt CAM- och digitala lösningar
Felsöka och lösa tekniska utmaningar i kundernas produktion
Implementera och testa nya produkter och lösningar hos kund
Ta fram och hålla tekniska presentationer samt utbilda kunder och kollegor
Arbeta nära Account Managers för att identifiera och realisera affärsmöjligheter

Placering och arbetssätt
Du utgår från hemmakontor och besöker kunder i regionen Skövde med omnejd.
Din profil
Du har gedigen erfarenhet inom produktionsteknik och teknisk service och trivs i en roll där du får arbeta självständigt, projektorienterat och nära kund. Vi ser gärna att du har:
Starka kunskaper inom mekanik och skärande bearbetning
Erfarenhet av CAD, CAM, CNC och Office 365
Förmåga att kommunicera och presentera obehindrat på svenska och engelska
Erfarenhet av teknisk försäljning och/eller Lean är meriterande

Your mission

Your profile
We’re looking for communication specialists with experience in content creation, storytelling, and channel management, along with web editing and publishing skills. You have a relevant university degree such as Communications or Journalism – or equivalent experience and knowledge. Experience from internal communication in global organizations and documented skills in digital communication tools and AI are expected. Vi söker nu en driven utvecklingsingenjör till vårt sintringslabb i Västberga – en spännande och varierad roll där du får kombinera praktiskt arbete med teknisk utveckling i en högteknologisk miljö.
Arbetsuppgifter
På vår avdelning arbetar vi med modellering, simulering, sintring och design av hårdmetall. På avdelning har vi också utrustning för termisk materialanalys. I sintringsteamet, som du kommer att tillhöra, arbetar du med att utveckla och optimera hårdmetallskär genom kontrollerade sintringsprocesser. Du kommer ha ansvar för labbutrustning som sintringsugnar. Du ser till att utrustningen fungerar som den ska genom regelbunden tillsyn och underhåll av maskinerna, och du är delaktig i förbättringsarbete och diskussioner kring inköp av ny utrustning.
Dina arbetsuppgifter inkluderar att planera, genomföra och utvärdera sintringsförsök av hårdmetallprover. I samarbete med dina kollegor bidrar du i utveckling och optimering av sammansättning, mikrostruktur och processparametrar. Här får du chansen att kombinera teori med praktik i en utvecklande miljö med avancerad utrustning och ett starkt tvärfunktionellt team.
Din profil
Vi söker dig med en civilingenjörsexamen inom material, kemi, maskin eller motsvarande. Erfarenhet av sintring, pulvermetallurgi eller utveckling av hårdmetall är starkt meriterande. Har du även ett intresse för termisk analys och tidigare erfarenhet av arbete med analysutrustningar som tex gaskromatografer, är det en fördel. Du behöver vara händig och van att hantera större utrustningar. Du behärskar både svenska och engelska i tal och skrift.
Som person är du ansvarstagande, lösningsorienterad och har ett starkt driv. Your mission

About the job
In this position, you develop our next generation of outstanding cutting tool materials, and with your application knowledge and curiousness in applying digital solutions, you’re constantly improving our understanding of customer demands. You analyze worn cutting tools and the feedback we get from our customers to draw conclusions on how to continually improve our products, and you translate and simplify complex matters into actions to ensure that the R&D departments are developing appropriate solutions. An important responsibility of yours is to develop testing strategies for the grade area, based on technical customer specification of demands. You’re comfortable working in laboratory environments, as well as at our customers where new products are tested, and you investigate what material characteristics are most important to influence the development of innovative cutting tool materials.

About you
We’re looking for someone with a master’s or PhD, preferably in Materials or Mechanical Engineering. Experience from working with material research or product development combined with customer interaction is advantageous. Practical or theoretical experience of metal cutting is also valuable in this position, as is experience in writing reports and analyzing results of projects and tests and presenting these. As we operate in a truly global environment, you’re fluent in English, while knowledge in Swedish is advantageous.

Här jobbar du i projektform när du utvecklar, konstruerar, testar och driftsätter nya automationslösningar i vår produktionsutrustning – samtidigt som du felsöker och löser problem i befintliga processutrustningar (CVD/PVD/Sintring) hos våra interna kunder. Din profil
Vi söker dig som har ett stort tekniskt intresse samt erfarenhet från tillverkande industri och har haft liknande arbetsuppgifter som i denna roll. En relevant teknisk utbildning, som t.ex. civilingenjör, är värdefullt men du kan också ha skaffat dig likvärdiga kunskaper från arbetslivet – det viktigaste är att du har en teoretisk förståelse som du också kan omvandla i praktiken. Du har färdigheter inom programmering och systemering i PLC, DCS och SCADA-system som DeltaV, Mitsubishi och Aveva. In this role, you develop new production processes for our solid carbide blanks production, whilst improving our understanding of customer demands. You analyze material properties with respect to microstructure, crystallography, material chemistry and processing route. You explore novel concepts, approaches or insights for advanced processing technologies and seek effective routes to their implementation. Vad du gör
Som elektriker hos oss arbetar du bland annat med att bygga elskåp från grunden, dra el och montera komponenter. Du hanterar elscheman och ritningsunderlag. Du jobbar med uppgraderingar och med nya generationens utrustningar samt prototyper som vi utvecklar inom vår avdelning i Västberga, där du medverkar vid både funktionstester och leveranskontroller. I arbetet ingår även ritningsläsning, felsökning och uppdatering av ritningsunderlag i en digital miljö.
Du jobbar oftast i projekt tillsammans med kollegor från teamet, som utöver elmontörer består av mek-montörer, konstruktörer, programmerare, driftsättare och projektledare. Du har också ett nära samarbete med vår utvecklingsavdelning och gemensamt undersöker ni möjligheter, förbättringar och alternativa lösningar. Vi levererar maskiner till våra produktionsenheter inom Sandvik-koncernen, vilket betyder att du deltar vid installationer och uppstarter på andra orter inom Sverige och utomlands. Då viss utrustning måste platsbyggas ger det längre installationstider mellan fyra till sex veckor och cirka två till tre gånger per år.
Vem du är
Du som söker skall minst ha gymnasieutbildning som elektriker. Erfarenhet av arbete med maskiner, el och elmontage är meriterande, men inget krav, likaså intresse och kunskap inom mekanik. Har du tidigare arbetat inom tillverkningsindustrin är det ett plus. Då vi arbetar lokalt och hör till en global organisation är det viktigt att du kan både svenska och engelska, i tal och i skrift.

Your mission
In this brand-new position, you’re playing a key role in establishing our digital presence for SMF. Who you are
We’re looking for someone with a Master's degree in Engineering with focus on Powder Technology, Material Chemistry or other materials science area. Professional experience from a relevant technical field and research environment is necessary, as is knowledge of cemented carbide. A relevant PhD can be advantageous. Working in a truly global environment calls for excellent skills in English, verbally and in writing.


You’re familiar with hands-on lab work and your structured way of working really comes in handy in this role. Your mission
In this role, you work with our engineering function within Design and Planning – an agile team with responsibility for the end-to-end engineering aspects of multiple digital products. Your mission
In this position, you contribute to the digitalization of the industry by developing different models to help us understand and meet the need of our customers.

Your work includes:

· Developing simulations for performance and cost of machining processes that can be implemented into our software applications

· Developing mechanistic models for areas such as cutting forces, machine surface finish, cutting tool stability as well as tool and workpiece deflection

· Developing cost modelling tools that allows for optimum cutting processes to be selected based on different customer scenarios.

· Working in close collaboration with backend software developers to successfully ensure that these can be implemented and industrialized

· Working closely with other data scientists to drive technology development and knowledge sharing – constantly moving us forward on our digitalization journey

Your profile
We’re looking for someone with experience from developing efficient code for modelling machining physics, such as Matlab or Python, as well as CAD and CAM software experience. Your previous experience also includes cost modelling and optimization of machining processes, and you are familiar with the decision-making processes of a machining specialist. This include how to select optimum metal removal sequences, cutting data, cutting tools and tool path strategies, among other things. We also believe you have studied the fundamentals of machining processes and have a good understanding of process modelling, including areas such as chip formation, cutting tool geometry, temperature modelling and chatter vibration. As we operate in an international setting, this calls for excellent skills in English – both verbal and written.

What you bring to the table
Let’s start with the hard skills. You have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or the corresponding knowledge gained from previous jobs - either in a global company, agency or from the consultancy side. In the last couple of years, you’ve gained a good understanding of digital marketing, preferably from a B2B perspective. As a machining and tech-based company, we’d love if you share our interest and perhaps even a fascination for the world of engineering.

About the job
In this position, you perform material analysis of hard metal using XRD. You apply measurement and analysis methods already developed and have the possibility to be part of method development activities. Maintenance of the lab and our equipment is an important part of the daily work. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) for image analysis is also included in your tasks. Together with us, you actively work to support our R&D function in delivering relevant data for the development of new materials for the future – spanning a wide range from our raw powders to finalized inserts and grades. About you

Basic knowledge and experience of X-Ray Diffraction, including use of equipment and analysis software connected to this area, is required. What about the job?
In this position, you mix your days with strategic UX planning, research, concept development and hands-on UX design – you hold the overall UX agenda for all of Digital Machining which means lots of freedom to impact and innovate, but also a big responsibility to make things happen.

You actively network with users and customers to gather information about their requirements, and to find out what needs are demanded within researching, designing or usability testing. Keeping a broad perspective, you consider the why, what and how of a product´s use, as well as the users’ motivations to adopt to it. For us, visual design and durability, along with usability and esthetics are key elements of our solutions, and we always focus on the actual user. This means that you need to understand the context of use, specifying requirements, designing solutions, solving issues and evaluating the result. Since you’re involved in the entire product design process, you’re also responsible for formulating and validating key hypotheses through prototypes, target customer interviews and business experiments.

Your mission comes with many stakeholders, and you collaborate with product managers, designers, data analysts, engineers and sometimes external suppliers to define and develop our UX program and grow our business. Truly exciting since you’re the one leading end to end research initiatives - from concept to production - in an agile environment where changes, shifting trends and new technology are constant factors.

We offer flexible working conditions, but for this role you need to have your base in either Stockholm or Sandviken, as this is where we have the main parts of our business. Occasional travel is included in the role.

Your background and character
We’re looking for someone with a broad profile and solid experience from UX research and UX/UI design – both strategically and conceptually, but also hands-on in producing prototypes, wireframes and exploring usability and customer journeys. What you need to succeed in this role is knowledge of software and digital services, as well as of interaction design methods and tools such as wireframes (Figma), concept models, scenarios and user flows. You have previously been working with A/B testing and quantitative and qualitative methods. As for education, we consider a relevant academic degree as necessary.

You’re comfortable spending some time in the spotlight as you need to take lead, coordinate and interact with both internal and external stakeholders, customers and partners. Not only do you create our strategy, you’re the one who promotes it, pushes it through and operationally put things in motion.
