Our FitTech uses 3D scans and a one-of-a-kind, AI-powered recommendation engine to match everyone with the shoes that fit them best.
With top brand and retail partners worldwide, including New Balance, Red Wing Shoes, Fleet Feet, The Athlete's Foot, Ecco, Intersport, Crocs, and XXL, our footprint spans 3000+ stores across 58 countries, and growing!
The Role
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be the interface between our technology teams and our customers. In a normal day you will likely sit down with our engineering teams to help troubleshoot a hard problem, document a new best practice for your colleagues in first line support, and later in the day have a meeting with a customer's IT department to help them understand how their network should be configured for the scanner to work optimally. This is a customer facing role where you will talk to people all over the globe and learn new things every day!
In this role you will be reporting to our Operations Team Lead.

What You’ll Do

2nd Line Support - Support our customers

We have thousands of scanners all around the world. Every now and then one of them breaks and does not work. As a Customer Support Technician you would help the customer troubleshoot, identify and solve the problem and make their day! More than that, your actions should be guided by this question: if we identify a new problem, how can we make sure the customers will be able to solve it themselves in the future?

Troubleshoot and bug hunt

Sometimes issues can be harder to identify or solve, so we need to pull in other people within our organization. You will likely talk to our engineers, Product Owners and Key Account Managers on a daily basis to understand how a specific feature is supposed to work, why it’s not working and what we need to do to make it work again. We work collaboratively at Volumental and during most days you will be interacting with different teams across the organization.

Repair and restore 3D scanners

Whenever a 3D scanner is returned to us from a customer, the unit will go through our Scanner Refurbishment Program where we either restore it to factory condition, or we take it apart to allow us to reuse parts for internal use. You will go through returned units, keep a log of quality deviances, and execute the needed repairs. Maintenance and proactive support

A big part of supporting our customers is of course finding problems before they occur. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will help build out monitoring and maintenance tools to identify future problems and automate workflows, minimizing the time you and others spend on repetitive tasks so we can focus on what really matters!

Logistics and Operations

Ensuring our customers have fully functional scanners is a key part of our support process. You will coordinate the shipment of new scanners to customers, manage the replacement process for faulty units, and ensure spare parts are available when needed. This includes tracking inventory, working with shipping providers, and maintaining clear communication with customers to minimize downtime and keep their operations running smoothly.
Who you are
Love computers and humans alike- You are equally comfortable interfacing with computers and talking to people, whichever is required to solve the problem at hand.
A great communicator - You love to interact with people from all backgrounds, and can clearly communicate complex concepts in a simple way.
Patient and empathetic - You care about people and always have their best interest at heart. And you know that sometimes this requires extra patience and understanding.
Analytical and data driven - You can tell stories with data, dedicating efforts to use this data to back your arguments up or even confront them.

Qualifications:
Fluent in English - Other languages are a plus!
Good Knowledge of network types and different network environments.
Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux based operating systems.
Working understanding, or experience, of working with Python and Bash.

You have previous experience with:
Identifying the components of a consumer PC and explaining what they do.
Using Linux and not considering the command line arcane and scary.
Being familiar with concepts like IP, MAC-address, apt, ethernet, bash, python and being able to explain what they mean to a person that isn’t.
Bonus!

Don’t let these stop you from applying, but please let us know if they fit you:
Relevant experience in second line support with focus on Linux environments.
A passion for sports or previous experience in retail. We find that both help our agents to better understand our customers.

At Volumental, we value innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to customer success. We strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where all team members can thrive. We encourage a diversity of applicants to apply! Visa mindre

Maintain and evolve our data pipelines.
Tackle a variety of exciting challenges as we grow!

With top brand and retail partners worldwide, including New Balance, Bauer, The Athlete's Foot, Ecco, and XXL, our footprint spans 2500+ stores across 45 countries and growing!

Working with global enterprise brands rolling out our IoT and SaaS products in over 45 countries presents complex legal challenges. And that’s where you come in: we are looking for an in-house counsel to assist our legal team! On any given day, you will support the business teams in contract processes, be our go-to for all questions for GDPR, be a corporate law wizard, or partner with external counsel when building our plan to enter China. As an in-house counsel at Volumental, you will experience the fast pace of a scaleup with the opportunity to grow your role within the areas where you thrive best.

What you will do:

1. Be a legal advisor to teams at Volumental, including the Sales, Marketing, Operations, Management, and Product teams:

- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including IoT and SaaS customer agreements, services agreements, distributor agreements, confidentiality agreements, data privacy agreements, and consulting agreements.
- Counsel and educate teams on contract terms, negotiation best practices, commercial implications, and legal risks.
- Collaborate in the development and operationalization of policies, templates and workflows to allow business teams to move quickly while addressing key risks in substantive areas.

2. Collaborate in the support of data privacy and other compliance initiatives, including keeping up to date on new and changing laws:

- Help our customer’s privacy teams understand how Volumental handles data and other privacy requirements as part of the sales process.

- Advise and assist with the legal aspects related to strategic initiatives, including entry into new markets such as China, implementation of new business models, new product areas, and investments into Volumental.
- Assist with option programs and board matters.
- Assist with trademark & patent applications and maintenance.

We are excited about you because...
- You have a genuine business interest. Knowing the law is essential, but knowing the industry and the company is critical to provide relevant, high quality advice. You have an ability to understand the business goal and are able to formulate a legal plan to achieve the goal.
- You are a thorough, diligent, educational, and service-oriented person with an ability to provide practical advice to non-legal team members on a variety of legal and business issues.
- You have highly effective interpersonal skills to distill complicated legal issues into plain English with an understanding that more is not always better.
- You have a strong sense of purpose, ambition, and a proactive approach to your work. While you will have the support of our Chief Legal Officer and other management stakeholders, you will be expected to be a “self-starter”, proactively driving forward matters with an appropriate level of autonomy.
- You appreciate having several contact points including in sales, marketing, people & culture, and development teams, seeing yourself as a natural part of the organization.
- You thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment and are a team player with a “no task is too small” attitude.
- You have a degree in law from Sweden, U.S, Europe, or otherwise a common law jurisdiction and 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience advising on commercial, privacy, and/or technology issues in a B2B context is preferred.

Bonus!

In a world where product size labels are unreliable, Volumental is the footwear industry's leading FitTech™ company. Our FitTech uses 3D scans and a one-of-a-kind, AI-powered recommendation engine to match everyone with the shoes that fit them best.

With top brand and retail partners worldwide, including New Balance, Bauer, The Athlete's Foot, Ecco, and XXL, our footprint spans 2500+ stores across 45 countries and growing!

As a Support and Operations team member, you will be the interface between our technology teams and our customers. In a normal day you will likely sit down with our engineering teams to help troubleshoot a hard problem, use your linux command line skills to automate a maintenance workflow, and later in the day have a meeting with a customer's IT department to help them understand how their network should be configured for the scanner to work optimally. This is a customer facing role where you will talk to people all over the globe and learn new things every day!

In this role you will be reporting to our Head of Operations while working alongside our Technical Support Manager, who will be guiding and assisting you in your daily work.

What you will do when you join the Support and Operations team?

We work collaboratively at Volumental and during most of the days you will be interacting with different teams across the organization.

- Repair and restore 3D scanners

Whenever a 3D scanner is returned to us from a customer, the unit will go through our Scanner Refurbishment Program where we either restore it to factory condition, or we take it apart to allow us to reuse parts for internal use. You will manage this program and go through each returned unit, keep a log of quality deviances, and execute the needed repairs.

Maintenance and proactive support

A big part of supporting our customers is of course finding problems before they occur. As a Customer Support Technician, you will help build out monitoring and maintenance tools to identify future problems and automate workflows, minimizing the time you and others spend on repetitive tasks so we can focus on what really matters!

Who we’re looking for (does this resonate with and describe you?):

A natural and great communicator - You love to interact with people from all backgrounds, and can clearly communicate complex concepts in a simple way.
Love computers and humans alike - You are equally comfortable interfacing with computers and talking to people, whichever is required to solve the problem at hand.
Patient and empathetic - You care about people and always have their best interest at heart. And you know that sometimes this requires extra patience and understanding.
Analytical and data driven - You can tell stories with data, dedicating efforts to use this data to back your arguments up or even confront them.
Fluent in English - Other languages are a plus!

Qualifications:

- Relevant experience in second line support with focus on Linux environments.
- Working knowledge of network types and different network environments.
- Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux based operating systems.
- Working understanding, or experience, of working with Python and Bash.

You have previous experience with:

Identifying the components of a consumer PC and explaining what they do
Using Linux and not considering the command line arcane and scary
Being familiar with concepts like IP, MAC-address, apt, ethernet, bash, python and being able to explain what they mean to a person that isn’t.

You'll be an essential part of the greater whole - able to drive initiatives and steer development while at the same time collaborating with other subject matter experts on our team. We encourage a diversity of candidates to apply! Visa mindre

- You are driven, analytical, organized, and you see the big picture and sweat the small details.
- You are a hunter more than a farmer. You have tenacity. You are motivated by a challenge and don’t give up.
- You are fluent in English - we have colleagues from over 20 countries and customers worldwide. It's truly an international environment! Swedish is considered a plus.
- You are an excellent communicator. You balance the tango between being professional and friendly and can efficiently use e-mails, phones, and social media to find new ways to get in touch.

Bonus!

With top brand and retail partners across the world including New Balance, Bauer, The Athlete's Foot, Ecco and XXL, our footprint spans 2500+ stores across 45 countries, and growing!

We live in a time in which there is constant change around us. Across all industries, there is movement towards progress and advancement, for better or for worse. Here at Volumental, we sincerely believe in a brighter future, and we want to build technology that makes our world a better place. We know that technology is and will forever be advancing, and we want to be a part of driving it for a better future.

We are here to help people. And thus, we value our customers and the people who use our products greatly. Like a great parent, mentor, and inspiring friend: we are not here to just make customers happy, we are here to make them successful. When our customers use our products - we want them to truly gain value from our tech, solutions, and products. We want to help them do their best.

To be true to our values and goals of growth, we are growing our Customer Success Team and are looking to hire a Customer Success Manager.

As a CS team member, you will get to interact with different kinds of people across the footwear industry in a B2B environment - from HQ leaders to in-store, store associates and managers. You will also be able to work across functions internally and collaborate in a diverse team. This is a customer facing role, and we are looking for you - you passionate, and hardworking, people-person - you.

A Volumental Customer Success Manager is responsible for setting customers up for success through great: onboarding, training & education, performance monitoring, reporting, operational support, and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. CSMs ensure that both the internal Volumental team and our customers’ stakeholders have the insights, resources, and guidance needed to ensure optimal usage of our products; often utilizing different tools and systems to execute ad-hoc projects and tasks to support both internal and external teams. This is a dynamic role in which you may wear many hats. Ultimately, a CSM at Volumental promotes optimal product usage, retention, loyalty, and success through various activities.

What will you do?

- Onboarding Customers (from various levels of their organization)
We believe in doing it right from the beginning. You will meet multiple stakeholders from customer organizations and onboard them by ensuring they are best equipped with all the insights, training, and resources needed for a successful roll-out. You will ensure that our customers go through a standard onboarding process, which allows them to learn how to use and integrate our products smoothly. This could mean organizing product demos, sending a series of emails including tutorials, ‘how to’s’, setting up their accounts, and providing them an excellent experience when interacting with us at Volumental.

- Monitoring / Expanding
You’ll get to learn and play with data to understand customers’ performance and success, at an organizational level and down to the individual store level. Monitoring our customer health and performance metrics, you will provide insights, tips, and best practices, to customers to ensure that they get the most out of our products. Our aim is to help grow our customers for both theirs and our success. It’s a “win-win-win” situation here, ask us to explain later.

- Representing Volumental

You will be the primary point of contact during the onboarding process for training and roll out, and also the piloting process. We want to provide the best experience for our customers to ensure that they are set up for success. Whether it be an email, phone call, video call, f2f meeting, anything… you will be our customer-facing representative. Rep us well!

- Be Our Internal, Cross-functional Champion

By understanding our customers, their needs, wants, desires, and experiences to the core, you will be the voice of the customer and help provide insights to our internal teams such as: product, marketing, key accounts, and sales. CS work is often collaborative in nature - you work with team members across departments to execute initiatives and projects. We believe we’re stronger together.

- Strategic CS Growth & Up-Selling
You will understand them, you will know them.
We’re not sales people on the Customer Success team, and we’re definitely not the “typical sales people” you might have heard stories about. Being on the CS team, you will know the customer inside-out and the absolute best. You will know their experiences, their needs, desires, and even their business. And thus, who can better advise them on what and how our other products can help them achieve their goals? It’s you!

We’re here to help people be successful, and have a good time. So no we’re not “sales” people, but yes, we do have the opportunity to help the Sales team with their efforts.

Who we're looking for (does this resonate with and describe you?):

- Strong Active Listener - you really listen to and understand what people are saying and are able to re-communicate their message back to them. You like to take notes.
- Natural and intuitive communicator - you love to interact with people from all backgrounds, and can clearly communicate complex concepts in a simple way.
- Professional AND Personable - you balance the tango between being professional and friendly, and you want to master this dance.
- Passionate and Positive - we are all about good energy. We can train you on what you don’t know, but what we can’t train - is your natural energy.
- Humble and a Team Player - you’re a collaborative team member with low prestige, willing to jump in and help.
- Adaptable and Open-Minded- you understand that life throws hurdles and obstacles our way, and you see them as opportunities to learn and grow, and challenges to overcome. You’re not afraid to get into the trenches of admin, or enter high stakes meetings with stakeholders.

With top brand and retail partners across the world including New Balance, Bauer, The Athlete's Foot, Ecco and XXL, our footprint spans 2500+ stores across 45 countries, and growing!

We live in a time in which there is constant change around us. Here at Volumental, we sincerely believe in a brighter future, and we want to build technology that makes our world a better place. We make technology that helps people, and currently, we provide a 3D scanning solution that serves both shoe shoppers and footwear brands. We know that technology is and will forever be advancing, and we want to be a part of driving it for a better future.

We are here to help people find the perfect fit. And thus, we value our customers and the people who use our products greatly. Like a great parent, mentor, and inspiring friend: we are not here to just make customers happy, we are here to make them successful. When our customers use our products - we want them to truly gain value from our tech, solutions, and products. We want to help them do their best.

The Role

As an Account Executive you will be a key player in Volumental’s growth. We have high ambitions to accelerate our growth and are now looking for an experienced Account Executive to attract and close customers to our retail hardware and SaaS solutions. You will be responsible for targeting and closing footwear retailers and brands from across the globe. The New Sales team is an instrumental part of Volumental’s success, and this role requires that you have a can-do attitude with exceptional communication skills!

What will you do?

- Run deal processes. Take qualified leads to the finish line by navigating multiple stakeholders from initial pitch through KPI-defined pilots and large-scale global rollouts. You are the project manager who can identify people’s pains before they know them and show them how we will help grow their business.
- Travel around the world with the Volumental solution. This role will require global travel to meet with executives from brands and retailers in all corners of the world. You will also attend fairs and perfect your 30-second pitch. If you aren’t already you will become a world-class communicator!
- Fail, learn, repeat. Our deals usually involve many departments within a company, from retail operations and e-commerce to marketing and R&D. To succeed you need to be the type of person who analyzes your experiences and implements learnings fast.
- All the other things! One week you may be traveling around the world meeting with senior executives, and the next you will be prospecting, and iterating on new products with our product teams. We’re growing and are in a scale-up phase, and you need to thrive in an intense and collaborative environment.

We are excited about you because...
- You thrive in a scaleup environment and want to take ownership of your personal growth. You’re excited about being part of a growing organization where your contribution is crucial to the entire team’s success.
- You are a collaborative team member with low prestige, willing to jump in where needed.
- You are driven, analytical and organized - able to see the big picture and sweat the small details.
- You are adaptable and open-minded and see obstacles and hurdles as opportunities to learn and grow, and challenges to overcome.
- You have experience working with B2B sales and/or project management and are ready to take on $500K+ deal sizes for a globally scalable product.
- You are willing to travel. We work with customers around the world and this role will require regular travel to attend customer meetings, fairs and conferences.
- You are fluent in English. With teammates from over 20 countries, it's a true international environment!

Bonus!
Don’t let these stop you from applying, but please let us know if they fit you:

You like taking initiative and actively seeking input and information.
You understand the differences between working in-house and at an agency
You are not afraid to help out wherever is needed.

Bonus - Don’t let these stop you from applying, but if they fit you, please let us know!

With many plans and exciting growth ahead, data has now earned a first-class position at our company. We want conclusions drawn from data to guide our development and decision making - both in our technology and business teams. How well we gain insights and make predictions from our deep and diverse data streams will significantly affect how artfully we can interact with our customers. A data-driven Customer Success function is key to both our current and future goals at Volumental, our team heavily relies on accurate data to drive usage of our products.

We'd like you to create a simple and intuitive dashboard for Customer Success to be used in the business and Insights teams' day-to-day-work.

As a Full Stack Data Engineer you will be part of the AI group but you will work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure that our internal tools and dashboards can offer the insights and analytics to drive increased business. It will require you to gain an understanding of our customers, products and business processes so that you can actively develop ways to improve and support them.

- Enjoy teaching others and learning new things

With customers across the world including New Balance, Bauer, Ecco and XXL, we are on a mission to help 500 million shoe shoppers find perfect fitting footwear by 2025 both in-store and online.

We are here to help people. And thus, we really value our customers and the people who use our products. Like that friend or parent that helped you when your first computer broke down: we are not here just to make customers happy, we are here to teach them how to solve things themselves and want them to be successful when using our products.

What you will do when you join the Support and Operations team?

Support our customers

We work collaboratively at Volumental and during most of the days you will be interacting with different teams across the organization.

Technology enthusiast - You like learning about new technology and trying out new gadgets. If something in your home breaks, your first instinct is fixing it rather than buying a new one - why lose all the fun of trying to fix it?
Humble and a team player - You’re a collaborative team member with low prestige, willing to jump in and help where needed.
High integrity - You’re honest and accountable, comfortable with owning up to your mistakes and learning from them.

You have previous experience with:

Using scripting languages to automate your own workflows
Identifying the components of a consumer PC and explaining what they do
Using Linux and not considering the command line arcane and scary
Being familiar with concepts like IP, MAC-address, apt, ethernet, bash, python and being able to explain what they mean to a person that isn’t.

Have you recognized yourself in this description? If so, please apply now, we’re looking forward to meeting you!

Tired of feeling limited by an outdated architecture and old school legacy code? We are not afraid to throw out the old and use the latest methods and tools to create a modern and cutting-edge backend. If service meshes, distributed relational databases, and serverless computing spice up your life, you may have found your new team.

What will you do?

In order to deliver reliable user experiences and further develop incredible products, our cloud needs to be regularly improved and expanded. When you join our team you will ask yourself questions like: How can we ensure our cloud handles the massive traffic increases during Black Friday? How can we guarantee shoe shoppers are able to find perfect-fitting shoes in milliseconds all over the world? How can a growing number of developers add new services without creating hassle?

As a backend developer at Volumental, you will be part of the Cloud team. You will help drive the design of our microservice architecture, ensure that infrastructure lives up to high expectations of availability and stability, and support other team members when it comes to design and implementation. You will, of course, write a lot of code, creating the core services used by other services internally while also writing awesome CLI tools that other developers can’t live without.

- Open to teaching others and learning new skills

With customers across the world including New Balance, Bauer, Ecco and XXL, we are on a mission to help 500 million shoe shoppers find perfect fitting footwear by 2025 both in-store and online.

Machine learning is core to Volumental's products and services, both in the cloud and on our edge devices. In order to build amazing products we constantly have to solve challenging and exciting problems, from processing images and 3D meshes to analyzing the users’ feet, to considering the fit aspect of purchases to estimate customer preferences. This allows us to help shoe shoppers find perfect fitting footwear and ensure each and every shopping experience is engaging, simple and based on expertise drawn from millions of scans and purchases. And that’s where you come in!

What will you work on?

Delivering our machine-learning based products at scale requires a robust and well implemented system for handling lots of heterogeneous data. The algorithms are in many ways secondary to well modelled and organized data and in order to get it clean and get it in high volumes the data needs to be interfaced with and abstracted at the right level. The scale of data processing also offers exciting challenges as we already now are handling millions of 3D foot scans and purchases in volumes of tens of terabytes and quickly growing.

As a Data Engineer at Volumental, you will be part of our machine learning team and be at the middle of all this data. You will have a key role in designing and implementing the full path data takes, from customers and other sources to the training and deployment of machine learning models and back to the customers through our products. You will implement data cleaning and normalization to connect to seemingly different data points, design and implement data models and API endpoints, and collaborate with stakeholders across disciplines to crystallize how data should be structured and optimized.

We are excited about you because you are:

- A self-motivated and collaborative team member
- Open to teach others and learn new things
- Excited by solving challenging problems
- Keen to work in a caring scale-up environment

We expect you to:

- Be able to understand complex problems with heterogeneous requirements and design a system to solve them.
- Have worked professionally with software development.
- Have solid experience in databases (modelling, querying, tuning, maintenance etc.)

Bonus - Don’t let these stop you from applying, but if they fit you, please let us know!

- You have experience or interest in data science.
- A good communicator, both verbally and in writing

- You have a degree in computer science, mathematics or similar.

We encourage a diversity of applicants to apply!
