In this position you will work together with food scientists and thermodynamic experts with a diverse background.
We are currently looking for a junior, potentially newly graduated colleague with an interest in sensors and controls. We work with simulation tools and experimental set-ups to verify new technologies.
You enjoy working closely with colleagues and internal customers. You like to work both at your computer as well as in the lab, setting up experiments and building prototypes. You will work with sensors and data collection and analysis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·      Manage advanced development projects, pre-studies and technology investigations according to Consumer Benefit Areas and Technical Road Maps
·      Support development of smart applications featuring controls, smart algorithms and IoT solutions working together with internal stake holders from R&D, Global Connectivity & Technology, Group Design, Product Lines and Marketing as well as suppliers.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

·      Know-how regarding electric, electronic, computer science and control strategies

Category Manager Marketing and Sales will analyze the current supply base and work with the corporate purchasing team to identify new opportunities. This position is responsible for the analysis of competitive quotes, the total supply chain for their commodity and any potential risk mitigation.  The commodity manager has responsibility for and directly affects the overall cost and delivery of indirect materials. The commodity manager must insure that is obtaining the highest quality at the lowest total cost.



Among the different areas of responsibilities, she/he will:
·      Develop & maintain strategic and sustainable relationships with key suppliers to plan, organize and drive the best sourcing activities                                                                  
·      Understand the tradeoffs between costs, service in order to strike agreements that meet Electrolux performance criteria.
·      Negotiate NDA’s, MPA’s (Master Purchase Agreements) and other contracts
·      Develop a good relationship with key peers (Marketing, Operations, Product Lines).
·      Develop cost reduction projects with existing suppliers

§ Define and optimize the loyalty journey that begins with the registration by the consumer of one of our products

A typical day
