SWL Entertainment AB is a Stockholm-based craft studio devoted to building architecturally beautiful, high-performance acoustic furniture for world-class recording facilities, broadcast spaces, demanding home-audio rooms—and, whenever required, custom scenes and sets for film and photo productions. We’re searching for a Senior Acoustic Furniture & Studio-Equipment Designer with at least five years of professional experience blending woodworking craftsmanship and acoustic expertise. Fluent spoken Swedish is a firm requirement for this position.
In this role you will conceive, model and hand-build diffusers, absorbers, studio desks, racks, vocal booths and other bespoke pieces—translating room-mode calculations and psychoacoustic principles into tangible products that both sound and look exceptional—while also taking the creative lead on occasional set builds that demand the same meticulous attention to acoustics and aesthetics. You’ll steer each project from first sketch through CAD/CAM and CNC tool-paths to final lacquer, collaborating closely with industrial designers and audio engineers while managing timelines, bills of materials, vendors and on-site installations around the globe. Daily life happens in our fully equipped 70 m² workshop, complete with a 5-axis CNC, climate-controlled wood storage and a dedicated spray booth, all of which you’ll help shape and improve.
The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of wood science, fine joinery and finishing techniques; fluency in Fusion 360, Rhino or SolidWorks; hands-on CNC experience; and confidence working with acoustic-measurement software such as REW or EASE to iterate toward measurable sonic performance. Parametric design skills, experience with turnkey control-room builds, DSP/monitor-controller integration or prior work on film/photo sets are welcome bonuses, but your portfolio—showing pieces that marry visual elegance with acoustic credibility—matters most.
We offer a competitive salary, annual performance bonus, 30 paid vacation days, a pension plan, private health insurance, generous budgets for conferences and tool upgrades, relocation assistance and, above all, a culture that prizes craft, curiosity and good music at healthy SPLs. To apply, email contact@donnyg.se with a PDF résumé, a portfolio of five to ten relevant projects (including acoustic specs and photography) and a short note on your favourite studio—or set—build and why it inspires you. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and the position remains open until filled. We look forward to hearing how you will help us make rooms, stages and the world sound—and look—better.

Communicate and provide feedback to external vendors.

Who you are:
Experienced in game dialogue and VO production.

Capable of managing a large number of VO assets.
Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving abilities.
Enthusiastic about creating rich dialogue experiences for games.
Experience with implementing VO within Wwise audio middleware.
Experienced with directing and/or supporting VO recording sessions.

Note: Research shows under-represented groups in the industry (especially women) might not apply to a job if they don’t check off every requirement. At Avalanche, we’re more about your drive to learn and interest in tackling challenges than what’s on your resume! So don’t stress if you don’t tick every box— shoot us your application anyway! Diverse opinions and different experiences are what make our teams so great, not itemized lists of qualifications.
The Stockholm location
Our Stockholm office is situated in Södermalm, the beating heart of the city’s game industry. It’s a physical representation of our games – the lush vegetation of Just Cause and theHunter: Call of the Wild meets corroded metal straight out of Mad Max. It has everything you need to make it your creative base camp.
Our values

At Avalanche Studios Group, we are looking for a Sound Designer to join our audio team to work on an upcoming AAA title. Avalanche Studios is the division dedicated to ambitious, externally published, AAA open-world games like the Just Cause series, Mad Max and Rage 2.

As a Sound Designer you will be part of a tight and highly motivated team that strives to create the best sound experiences possible in games. Challenges include working with proprietary tools including the Apex game engine and our own modular audio framework, and utilizing these tools along with the Wwise audio engine to design and implement sounds into our game in a fairly unique way.

By joining our audio team, you’ll be taking on the responsibility of giving weight and size to the worlds our games take place in. Our ideal team member will have a healthy balance of creative and technical problem solving abilities, as both will be needed for the role. Half of a game’s audio quality is determined by implementation, and as a Sound Designer you’ll be responsible for both creating and implementing your own sounds.

We rely upon our Sound Designers to:

- Utilize their talents in crafting unique sounds to give depth, weight and character to our beautiful open worlds.

- Think abstractly about sound sources and design their sounds using a combination of field recordings, synthesized sounds, and sounds from our extensive library.

- Collaborate with team members across disciplines to find solutions that best support quality audio.

- Playtest regularly and help identify opportunities to improve audio quality.

- Embrace the challenge of problem solving with proprietary tools and applications that lack the polish and limitations that come with off-the-shelf solutions

Skills and experience we’re interested in:
- Experience as a sound designer

- Wwise fluency

- DAW proficiency (Reaper is the team’s DAW of choice)

- Musical knowledge and a vision for interactive music is a plus!

- Experience with any scripting language is a plus! Visa mindre

As such, we are dedicated to providing everyone the chance to express themselves and be their very best with a common cause.
The DICE.Sound team is looking for a Senior Sound Designer to join them and work as part of their in-house Audio team. A Senior Sound Designer at DICE can work with any aspect of game audio. Senior Sound Designers tend to specialize towards being more creative or more technical, but the aim is to keep everyone as a generalist, but with one or two areas of extreme specialization. The Senior Sound Designer role can be very broad and can be very complex, touching many audio aspects on a single title, or just focusing on one specific area for the duration of a project. Initially you will focus on the creation and implementation of vehicle, weapon and other complex mechanical assets for high-profile, action-packed titles for the Playstation, Xbox and PC platforms.
You will report to the relevant project's Audio Director and may lead a smaller audio sub-team. You will handle all facets of this role, including the sourcing and recording of source material, designing assets, implementation, iteration, refinement, debugging and in-game mixing.
Responsibilities:
Follow the Audio Direction and understand how each piece fits into and supports a readable, consistent, quality soundscape, by creating assets and implementations that live up to the creative and technical aspirations.
Oversee the sound design, and possibly lead an audio sub team, for a substantial area of a title.
Ensure you understand the tasks and context, to balance effort and quality against the intended purpose of the asset. Produce audio for the game to quality, within the planned budget and to an agreed schedule.
Ask for and act on feedback concerning your work. Also provide and act on feedback within the sound team, with a focus on audio execution.
Be structured; estimate your work, update plans, submit good data into the branch.
As a part of the Audio team provide and respond to Audio feedback and be an active mixer for your assets and provide feedback on the title's overall mix.

Qualifications:
Experience of sourcing, creating and implementing quality sound assets in a AAA title, from both a creative and technical standpoint especially vehicles or weapons.
A solid appreciation and understanding of how sound works in real-life, with a sense for realism and believability, but able to favor readability to support gameplay.
Developed artistic qualities; excellent at interpreting reference and following direction.
Desire to develop your implementation, design, editing and engineering skills.
Proficient with common studio hardware, editing techniques and software such as Reaper, Sound Forge, Waves, Fabfilter and IzoTope RX.
Experience with technical workflows and integrating audio into the game environment using the tools at hand. Creating with efficiency, and being mindful of performance constraints.
Knowledge of audio middleware, e.g. WWISE, FMOD, Unity and Unreal
Knowledge of graphical audio programming, e.g. Reaktor, Max-MSP, Pure Data, is a bonus.
Excellent communication skills.

We work through our 4 guiding values: Passion with Purpose, Creative Innovation, Everything Quality, and One Community. Our people are the backbone and driving force to our creative products. As such, we are dedicated to providing everyone the chance to express themselves and be their very best with a common cause.
The DICE.Sound team is looking for a motivated Senior Sound Designer to join them and work as part of their in-house Audio team. Initially you will focus on the creation and implementation of vehicle and other complex mechanical assets for high-profile, action-packed titles for the Playstation, Xbox and PC platforms.
You will report to the relevant project’s Audio Director and may lead a smaller audio sub-team. You will work with, be a part of and support the associated game pod working with vehicles and mechanical hardware. You will handle all facets of this role, including the sourcing and recording of source material, designing assets, implementation, iteration, refinement, debugging and in-game mixing.
We want you to be passionate about making great games and demonstrate excellent sound design skills, especially in the fields of vehicles and mechanical objects. Five years experience and a high-quality AAA game track record are required.
As a part of the Audio team provide and respond to Audio feedback and be an active mixer for your assets and provide feedback on the title’s overall mix.

Qualifications:
Experience of sourcing, creating and implementing quality sound assets in a AAA title, from both a creative and technical standpoint.
A solid appreciation and understanding of how sound works in real-life, with a sense for realism and believability, but able to favor readability to support gameplay.

Desire to develop your implementation, design, editing and engineering skills.
Proficient with common studio hardware, editing techniques and software such as Reaper, Sound Forge, Waves, Fabfilter and IzoTope RX.
