Title: Associate Legal Counsel
Full-time, Fixed-term up to 31 May 2027

We are seeking a junior Associate Legal Counsel to join our global legal team based in Stockholm. Our legal team works closely with management, product, business and engineering teams as well as other functional areas to support Truecaller's continued growth, whilst ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal controls. In this role, you will support our senior legal team members across a wide range of legal matters and gain broad exposure to in-house legal work at a fast-growing global technology company. You will report to the Chief Legal Officer based in Stockholm.

What you'll do
You will provide general legal support across Truecaller's legal and compliance matters, working closely with colleagues across different locations. Our legal team covers multiple jurisdictions and you will have the opportunity to contribute across a variety of practice areas, including:
Commercial
Assist in reviewing and supporting the drafting of commercial agreements across multiple markets
Conduct legal research and prepare legal analyses and memoranda to support senior counsel and internal stakeholders
Support the development and maintenance of contract templates and internal processes, including with the use of Legal AI tools
Assist with various matters as needed
Compliance
Assist with compliance tools
Privacy
Assist the legal team with data privacy matters and help implement necessary internal actions
Support updates to policies based on legal requirements and product changes
Product
Assist in reviewing product features and new functionality to help ensure alignment with legal requirements
Miscellaneous
Provide general legal support across a variety of matters as they arise
Assist in responding to and managing potential legal disputes and litigation under the supervision of senior counsel

What you bring
A law degree with up to two years of relevant working experience, whether from an in-house legal team, a law firm, or through internships and clerkships
A sound foundational understanding of commercial contracts and an eagerness to develop skills across a broad range of legal matters
Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
A keen eye for detail and a proactive, can-do attitude

The role:
As a Senior Software Engineer, Android, you will be developing features that help our Android app grow in our mature markets as well as new markets. You'll be responsible for architecture, code quality, and delivery cadence for the features we build in the team. As a leader, you'll be mentoring other members of the team and leading technical discussions with other business units in the organization.
What you’ll do:
Write code with great code standards
Deliver complex features on both front-end intensive tasks and performance improvements on the existing code base
Cover the code implementations with tests and improve the code coverage
Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
Bring engineering experience to advise product and business teams to make better decisions
Mentor the junior developers, and take ownership of maintaining high engineering standards and a growth mindset in the team.

What you bring in:
5+ years of experience in Android development
Strong knowledge of the Android SDK (minimum 5+ years of experience)
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
Sound knowledge of Kotlin and Java programming languages
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Experience with databases

The role:
As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will be part of our global legal team, where you’ll work closely with our product teams to ensure and develop data security, data privacy, and data protection in all aspects of our products. You will also assist with general legal matters, including contracts and intellectual property, within the company.
What you’ll do:
Act as a legal advisor to business, product, and engineering teams, balancing legal risk with business objectives
Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including customer, vendor, licensing, partnership, and data protection contracts
Advise on product and technology matters, including data use, AI/ML, user-generated content, platform terms, and privacy-by-design requirements
Lead data privacy and regulatory compliance efforts by developing and implementing policies, processes, and training aligned with applicable laws
Manage product-related intellectual property matters, including protection strategies and risk mitigation
Handle disputes, legal escalations, and government inquiries, coordinating with external counsel as needed
Support corporate and strategic initiatives such as partnerships and market expansion, while improving legal operations and internal processes

What you bring in:
Strong academic credentials and a law degree
Specialized and hold a minimum of 5+ years of legal experience, ideally working with data privacy and/or commercial / technology contracts
Strong knowledge and skills in data protection and privacy laws, both in Europe and internationally, and also in commercial law, with an emphasis on IT-related matters
Extensive background in data privacy regulations and legislation
Experience working with data privacy in a law firm or a tech company
Experience working in various jurisdictions
A solution-oriented and proactive approach, excellent communication, and organizational skills
Great communication skills in English

Experience from emerging markets and the policy framework
An interest in tech or experience from working in a tech company

The role:

The role:

What you bring in:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experienced leader: 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with at least 5+ years in a leadership/management role, preferably managing managers.
Cloud expert (GCP is a plus): Deep, hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, particularly GCP. Proven ability to design, build, and operate large-scale, distributed systems on GCP.

We, the Release team, manage app releases across platforms. We coordinate with external and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless releases are delivered every week. We also monitor the quality of these releases, report and escalate blockers. We at The Search team are responsible for some of the most vital and impactful features of the Truecaller application. These include:
Caller Identification: Identifying who is calling and making sure users can take educated decisions to pick up or not
Spam Protection: Identifying and blocking spam numbers, calculating spam likelihood, and enhancing overall spam detection.
Name Accuracy: Guaranteeing that users see the most accurate and reliable names associated with numbers.

As the Associate Director of Engineering for the Search team, you will lead cross-functional disciplines including Android, Backend, QA, and Data. You’ll provide strategic technical leadership and oversee the day-to-day management of the engineering team, while also partnering closely with the VP of Engineering to drive organization-wide engineering initiatives.
The impact you will create:
Manage and lead Android, Backend, QA, and data disciplines within the Search team.

Solid understanding of mobile CI/CD pipelines and release management.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be working with a cross-functional team. You help the team understand user verification trends, analyze usage patterns, and participate in the product discovery process to help build the right features that deliver value.
What will you work on
Create and analyze verification and fraud management metrics to identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization.
Utilize data to inform and help direct the product design process by providing a clear data narrative and a deep understanding of user needs.
Design and develop reports and dashboards to track user account verification and fraud management metrics.
Create and manage ETL pipelines.

What we expect from you:

At least 4 years of experience doing quantitative analysis
Expertise in business intelligence visualization tools, such as Google Data Studio, Looker, QlikSense, Tableau, PowerBI, etc

Work closely with stakeholders across the business to identify and act on opportunities to generate business value.
Ability to communicate the results of your analysis in a clear and effective manner

As a Senior MLOps Engineer, you will lead the transformation of our MLOps platform and will be responsible for reimagining and rebuilding it to enable fast, scalable, and cost-effective machine learning model development and deployment. 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a focus on deploying ML models in production environments.
Hands-on experience deploying ML models on mobile devices (e.g., TensorFlow Lite, Core ML, ONNX Runtime Mobile).
Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX) and their deployment on mobile platforms.
Experience building and maintaining tools and platforms for feature engineering, model training, model deployment, model monitoring, and A/B testing model performance.
Understanding of both Android and iOS development and how that impacts ML model deployment and usage.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and disciplines.

As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will be deeply involved in the whole lifecycle of product development on iOS, from idea generation to making design decisions, from requirement analysis to product decisions, and from development to release while working with a talented cross-functional team consisting of Android, Backend & Product and under the guidance of our CSO & Co-founder of Truecaller.
What do we expect from you
5+ years of overall experience with iOS development.
Deep understanding of object-oriented programming using Swift.
Hands-on experience in developing desktop, mobile, or web apps using the Flutter framework.

As a Tech lead Android, you will lead day-to-day and strategic tech initiatives, being the key voice in the room - steering both the technical and product direction that the team takes. The role involves guiding the engineering team in the exploration, development, and implementation of new solutions and iterations. 2+ years of relevant experience as a senior / staff engineer and/or people manager
5+ years of total engineering experience

Knowledge of the Android SDK
