We are looking for a senior Android software engineer to join our checkout team. You will be part of this cross-functional team and together we will enable merchants from all around the world to grow their businesses and succeed in a world of giants!

The app

Every day, merchants around the world depend on iZettle to help them run their businesses. iZettle is aiming to be the one-stop-shop for small businesses, and our Point of Sale app with checkout as it’s the core. Checkout team is responsible for the flow when merchants are selling to a customer.

Go where the people speak your language

You'll be in close contact with the design in order to create a tailored user experience to our merchants, as well as backend developers, developing a robust end to end solution catered to our user's needs. It's important that you have an understanding of API design and how to consume them, but don't worry, the team will be there to help you out.

You'll have the ability to architect your components, at the same time as being able to consume global components from our library and tokens from our design system. You will be able to collaborate with other teams and Android developers across the whole Android chapter, by code reviews, bouncing ideas or mob programming (we're big fans!).

- Design, implement and maintain features with a high degree of autonomy
- Take an active part in system design
- Work on interesting problems together with talented peers in cross-functional agile teams
- Experiment and learn about design, technology and processes
- Support other (more junior) developers
- Ensure a high level of quality, usability and maintainability of the (reusable) components and code

As a SEM Specialist at iZettle

- Take responsibility for significant budgets, accounts and relationships with third parties.

Making sense of big data for small businesses

We are scaling the Credit Risk team and are looking for a curious and motivated Credit Risk Analyst to join us. Our mission is to assess and optimize iZettle’s credit risk by making informed decisions based on the data at our disposal. As part of the team, you’ll use state-of-the-art tools and techniques to quantify risks and produce key insights, so as to continuously improve our strategy and ultimately set up the future of credit risk management for iZettle.

As a Credit Risk Analyst at iZettle you’ll join an ambitious, dynamic team and be able to see your ideas and recommendations make business impact in real-time.

- You’ll work with raw data, help transform it and carry out analysis as well as research to derive insights and quantify risks. You would also help to maintain and improve existing data analysis tools and reports aimed at understanding the portfolio credit risk.
- You’ll work with the team to develop financial models to be used in refining underwriting cut-offs and approval strategies and work closely together with tech teams to develop overall credit risk infrastructure. You’ll also evaluate new sources of data to be integrated into decision making.
- You’ll articulate actionable business recommendations based on data and create impactful visualisations to aid stakeholders take strategic decision in regards to our lending products.
- You’ll help to set up, monitor and develop risk and performance metrics and reporting packages for the credit risk area. You’ll also identify strengths and weaknesses in our existing credit strategy and formulate hypotheses to improve portfolio performance.

- You have a relevant academic degree in finance, engineering, statistics or similar analytical/quantitative field
- You have previous experience of using analytics to support credit risk and decision-making, ideally with a background in financial modelling

Technical Product Manager - Mobile Apps Platform - Stockholm

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our Apps Platform team.

This role will own the release schedule, roadmap and related internal stakeholder dialog. Your primary focus will be on our iZettle Go product mobile apps, both for iOS and Android.

You will be working with platform teams in our Client Foundation area that owns development and maintenance of our apps platform. - Know your users: Understand the users of the apps and the internal users and stakeholders of the platform. Build use cases around those desires. Translate into product definitions and prioritised high-level components for our roadmaps. Own the roadmaps and the stakeholder dialog about vision, direction and strategy. Help ensure the team’s sprints and backlogs are correctly managed and prioritised.

- Communication: You own the definition, boundary and plan for our mobile apps. You need to bridge any gaps between experts in the platform teams and stakeholders. This is primarily other product owners, platform users and line management.

- Vision, strategy and prioritization: We need iZettle to be as efficient and innovative as possible. High quality, constantly improving and compliant platforms helps enable that. You need to know “what is important” and contribute to making the right high-level choices. You should have skills and experience to quickly establish your own idea of what is important. You should have the self-confidence and insight to know that you are not always right and that things change. This job is an ever ongoing journey of dialog, discovery and learning with technical experts and other stakeholders.

- Partner management: Identify, evaluate and maintain relationships with relevant partners in your space. Maintain a strong point of view on what is best for the users and for iZettle.

Together with product designers and other engineers, you will develop tooling and solutions to make the iZettle app look and feel amazing in the hands of our customers. Together we will enable merchants from all around the world to take payments and grow their businesses.

Your responsibilities

- Empower other teams at iZettle to implement well tested, consistent and accessible UIs that look and feel on brand
- Work closely with UI and UX designers to prototype and implement delightful and intuitive UI components
- Evolve the design language and guidelines used across our entire development organization
- Understand the needs of the engineers and develop a solid foundation for them to work with ease
- Ensure high level of quality, usability and maintainability of the reusable components

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer with Android focus to join our Tech Department. You will be part of the newly formed Hardware team, where together with other talented engineers, designers and partners will shape, design and build the next generation iZettle in-store hardware.

iZettle is a one-stop-shop to help small business run their business, where a capable, user friendly and appealing hardware is an important part of it. We're dedicated to deliver a product that our users can rely on and love to use.

You will have the opportunity to contribute on building the future of the iZettle in-store ecosystem. Including point-of-sale systems, card readers, and other HW peripherals.

Your responsibilities:

- Be an active part of the technical discovery and implementation of new and smart hardware that would help our customers run their business.
- Set the technical vision for our Android products, design and implement features of all sizes and drive key architectural decisions, together with the whole team.
- Develop and integrate new components to the hardware ecosystem.
- You will discuss technical solutions with the rest of your team, and at the end of the day we'll build and ship amazing hardware and software to our users.

The skills you need to succeed

- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Good knowledge about AOSP (Android Open-source) / Linux kernel.
- Good knowledge of software architecture, and good-programming-practices.
- Knowledge about embedded systems and system level development.
- You should have a particular interest for Hardware… even if done as in your spare time. You like playing around with hardware modules, and connect it to the app via bluetooth, wifi, and create fun products and experiences.
- Knowledge on how to write readable, maintainable, performant object-oriented Java, Ansi C and C++.

- A deep understanding of modern Android development and experience with Android development tools.
- You care about quality and you know what it means to ship high-quality code.
- You enjoy a dynamic, collaborative environment and prefer to create great products together with your team.
- You have released at least one app or have a side project that you can tell us about.

Nice to have:

- It would be a plus if you have worked with Android things or an iot framework.

Looking for a real chance to develop your DevOps skills?

We are looking for a person with a strong interest in technology to join our DevOps Platform Operations Team. You will work in a distributed team of DevOps engineers that develops, maintains and operates the foundational services of iZettle, running everything on AWS with Infrastructure as Code.

You will contribute to our innovation path, by supporting other developers with the setup of environments, identifying the cause of problems and documenting common issues.

Responsibilities:

- Actively collaborate with DevOps engineers, Security operations engineers, Software engineers and Technical product owners.
- Performing operations activities such as the setup of environments, patching of services, troubleshooting and root cause analysis of incidents.
- Support development teams with Terraform and Ansible scripting.
- Developing and supporting infrastructure deployment and automation scripts.
- Participate in planning, demos and retrospectives.

The skills you need to succeed:

- A technical education at university or college level, or equivalent working experience.

- A base understanding of IT related security practices.
