Who are you?

You need to be an embedded systems expert and have experience in multiple disciplines within the field. Writing low level drivers for obscure communications protocols or creating a boot loader for a MCU should be second nature to you. If you need to debug a malfunctioning motor driver or implement a Kalman filter that shouldn’t be a problem either. RTOS is nothing new to you (and you could probably create it from scratch if we just gave you the time). If you think in C that’s a plus and will aid in the communication with the rest of the embedded software team.

To be successful in the role you need:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the field of embedded systems
- Minimum master’s degree in relevant field
- Experience in Safety critical systems
- Experience in working with commonly used communication protocols
- Embedded software architecture design
- Very proficient in C, C++
- RTOS experience

You have the ability to learn fast and a willingness to be part of a team with high working pace with short decision paths. Experience within carbon fibre (or other composites) and from using CNC is qualifying but not a must. You need to be able to communicate well in English.

To be successful in the role you need:

- Experience in shopfloor environments
- Attention to detail and high quality standards
- Experience with workshop tools such as trimming tools and saws
- To be physically allowed to work in an environment where you are exposed to dust particles and chemicals
- To be able to stand for extended periods and work hands-on
- Experience working with composite production, gelcoat, wet-lay-up or vacuum infusion is a plus
- Having a forklift license is a plus
- Be able to communicate in English.
