Position Overview:
As Vendavo continues its product expansion and growth trajectory, we need an experienced General Ledger accounting in our Swedish Office.
You will be part of the Accounting team reporting to the Sr. Manager Treasury and International Accounting, Corporate, which is enabling the Accounting Department to leverage its best in class systems and provide accurate, auditable and meaningful information to our shareholders, business partners, and the Vendavo team.
Your role as a General Ledger Accountant, Sweden
You are expected to be a hands-on person who works with both the month and year end closing as well as daily postings.
Work tasks includes;
· Be part of the month end close team providing journal entries, account reconciliations, and account analysis
· Daily posting of cash receipts, process accounts payables, process payroll
· Invoicing clients and providing collections
· Revenue recognition review and execution of Vendavo’s revenue policy.
· Reconcile Bookings for the European region
· Prepare Statutory and Tax set of books for Swedish Entity.
· Coordinate tax and local filing requirements with outsourced firms
· Coordinate year end statutory audit
· Prepare cash forecast and other cash related reporting
· Manage local banking relationship
· Manage transfer price policy for region
· Resolving Budget Vs. Actual differences
· Intercompany process management
Your profile
To be successful in this role you should have a passion for the accounting work with sharp analytical and problem solving skills. You are used to execute with a sense of urgency through thoughtful planning and execution. You have the drive to work with daily operational tasks as well as keeping the monthly and yearly books in order.
We expect you to have a few years experience of working with a US parent company. Experience from reporting into a Corporate Accounting department and within a Software and Services company is an advantage. It is a plus if you also have experience of working with NetSuite and Concur
Your communication skills in English and Swedish are strong. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting and Audit is required.
