We are currently seeking an Acting Chief Engineer to join our vibrant team at Radisson Collection Strand Hotel, Stockholm.
Our Chief Engineer will soon be going on paternity leave, and we are now looking for capable hands to cover his role during his absence. Ideally, you would start in June as Maintenance Technician for a thorough onboarding, Summer manning, and handover before transitioning to an Acting Chief Engieer role from October 1st for approximately 12 months.  
Skills and Experience:?? 
As Acting Chief Engineer, you play a vital role in ensuring our properties deliver an experience beyond expectation, creating memorable moments for our guests.  

Supports the smooth running of the property maintenance department, where all areas are maintained to the highest levels. 
Works proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries. 
Delivers on plans and objectives where property maintenance initiatives & hotel targets are achieved. 
Responsible for the departmental budget, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained. 
Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders. 
Delivers an effective planned preventative maintenance programme addressing maintenance, environmental and conservation matters. 
Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.

Proven experience in property maintenance with excellent problem-solving capabilities.

The successful candidate will plan and supervise the activities of an extensive and diverse workforce to ensure a smooth and profitable running of the business. Our aim is to offer the greatest hotel experience in Stockholm and for that to happen, we need an experienced, dedicated and guest oriented General Manager at the helm of this key hotel.

We are looking for a distinguished hands-on General Manager, who is a person that take personal pride in creating memorable moments for our guests at every opportunity and believes anything is possible. As General Manager, you will be responsible for setting the highest standards to ensure guest expectations are met and exceeded, developing & implement systems and achieving challenging financial targets.

The successful candidate will have relevant room management experience, excellent food & beverage knowledge gained in a similar environment. You will need to be a motivated and inspirational leader with an engaging personality and a clear focus on guest services. You will also need to have good business acumen and excellent financial skills.

The General Manager will be a strong and recognized leader, ensuring that team members work as a well-functioning team. The responsibility is to be an effective team leader and an excellent team player who able to set examples and foster a climate of collaboration. The role operates the hotel in a manner that represents the high brand standards and always exceeds guest expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• To achieve set goals in revenue, profit and value enhancement, as well as employee and guest satisfaction by leading the entire operation of hotel and its people.
• Must possess a strong, 'hands-on' management style & have the capability to lead from the front and be a strong, credible leader
• Must be passionate about the hospitality industry & possess the drive to constantly deliver top-class customer service
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the physical property through inspections and preventive maintenance programs with department managers
• Develops an operational strategy that is aligned with the brand’s business strategy and leads its execution.
• The leadership adheres to company policies and procedures and by deliver and live by the Radisson Collection brand image.

Requirements:
• Degree education, with a 5+ years’ experience in a hospitality leadership position.
• Excellent people leadership ability - trust, care, igniting, empowering
• Excellent communication skills. Fluency in English is a must, knowledge in Scandinavian language preferred.
• Excellence in delivering quality result, strong ability to problem solve and a driven commercial focus.
