As an Associate or Consultant at Business Sweden, you will be working in a challenging and stimulating environment supporting our clients in their international business development. You will work independently as well as in teams, in different projects and assignments, across various industries.
Tasks include identifying new business opportunities, producing industry reports, in-depth data analyses, sales material, stakeholder analysis and management, arranging business meetings. You will contribute to deliver industry insights and be part of various client projects.
Your manager is the Head of Life Science, Digital Technologies & Consumer Goods, but operationally you will work closely with Project managers in the team and in projects over the whole organization globally at Business Sweden. The position will be based in Stockholm.
The role includes both strategic and operational responsibilities such as:
Work with team to deliver projects that support our promotional activities and clients in their international business development
Independently carry out market and data-driven industry analyses and other client deliverables
Develop point of views, sales and promotional marketing materials
Manage and drive own workflows and take on project leading roles in smaller projects
Break down own work into process steps, prioritize correctly and deliver results
Support the team in strategic business development projects and in the improvement of internal processes and tools
Support small and medium sized companies in their internationalization, as well as international investors towards Sweden

Experienced user in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Interest in investment and industry promotion, business development and internationalization

As a Global Compensation, Benefits and Mobility Specialist you will act as an expert within your field and support HRBP’s and managers in recruiting and retaining talent. You will be giving ongoing operative support within the area of Global Mobility including supporting hiring through different forms of employment, (Local contracts, Governmental and Non-Governmental Expats) personal income taxes, pensions and social insurance, immigration issues and relocation. You will also give advice and support regarding individual cases within the Compensation and Benefits area, including pension and salaries. This includes assessing business needs and suggest improvements of policies and tools, and the responsibility for business implementation, and follow-up to reach results.

In this role you:

- Act Specialist on collective agreements and conditions and support within HR and the Business on these matters
- Take full ownership of Business Swedens’ global pension solutions including professional advice and management of projects to further develop this area in a global organisation with a high rate of expatriates
- Own and execute on salary deduction – to pension policy
- Take global ownership for employee related insurances and benefits such as health insurance and health care, including yearly renewal and potential new procurements

As a Global Compensation, Benefits and Mobility Specialist you will be part of our HR-team, based at our head offices in Stockholm, whilst reporting to our VP of Human Resources.
To be successful in this role we believe you have a minimum of three years’ experience of Global Mobility and Compensation and Benefits. You have previously worked broadly, both operatively and analytically, within the area of Compensation and Benefits and Global Mobility. You have experience of expatriate management such as income tax, pension, social security as well as immigration. You have worked with pension and salary deduction for pension as well as with labour law and supported in employment agreements. You have an academic degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or equivalent. You are fluent in English and have at least good knowledge in Swedish. You have also good knowledge in both Excel and Power Point.

You are a good problem solver and have great ability and eager to analyse different situations to identify the best solution for candidates, employees and Business Sweden. You are business focused and understand the strategies and priorities of the business and can easily apply your knowledge to achieve the business objectives. You can easily adapt to different situations and expectations to provide excellent service to managers and employees. You are a team-player and have solid self-confidence and can influences the decisions of higher-level managements by pointing out different solutions.

Are you interested in joining our EMEA Regional Consulting Team in Stockholm? We are currently looking for a consultant who thrives on delivering cross market consulting projects in EMEA and globally. Our consultants in Stockholm typically work in projects that involve close collaboration with client and stakeholders in Sweden – anything from large Key Accounts to SMEs and our Team Sweden partners.

As part of our team, you will engage in the entire client cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, project management & delivery and add-on sales. The assignments are very much the same as the ones delivered in our foreign offices and often involve cross market analysis and selection, go-to-market strategies, partner and acquisition target search, export coaching and managing subprojects within more long-term strategic ecosystems programs. The position is based at Business Sweden’s HQ in Stockholm, and you will report to Asligül Sungur, Team Lead for the EMEA Regional Consulting.

Who we are looking for?
You are interested in working in a fast-paced, international environment, a steep learning curve and working in a driven and energetic team supporting Swedish clients in their international growth journey. You are analytical and will be working in project teams collecting and analyzing market insights. Team spirit, social skills, and the ability to connect the dots are also important since our work is much driven by interactions with external stakeholders.

- You have a higher academic degree, probably a Master of Science in International Economics
- We believe you have approximately 2-4 years working experience and are currently at a level of consultant
- Industry competence within Life Science & Medtech, Mining, Manufacturing and Automotive is meriting
- A high level of working proficiency in both written and spoken English is required
- A high level of working proficiency in an Eastern European language and working experience from the same region is highly meriting
- You are results-oriented, analytical and adaptable with a strong drive. You have excellent social and team-working skills and a cultural adaptiveness
