Steel Sales Account Manager
As we continue to grow, we are strengthening our sales team with a Sales Account Manager, strengthening our customer relations and expanding our customer base. The role operates within the Commercial team at Stegra and is accountable for customer relationships and the development of business opportunities, including commercial and contractual arrangements, across Europe for the accounts and prospects assigned to the incumbent.
Together with our customers we are leading the green transition. We enter with new sustainable products into a typically commodity market that has largely been looking the same for decades. We are already influencing customer behavior and strategy through creating close partnerships with our customers. The Sales Account Manager is part of the Commercial Team, reporting to the Head of Sales.
Location: This position can be based at our offices in Sweden or Netherlands - or remotely from Germany or France.
Responsibilities
Relationship management and contact map management of existing customers and leading the onboarding and ramp-up process for a group of customers (see our press releases for a listing)


Prepare implementation plans with the assigned accounts for Europe and act as interface across functions ensuring a robust implementation.


Set up and implement performance reviews internally & externally and implement any necessary interventions for the assigned accounts.


Create opportunities to grow the volume and profitability of the accounts ie. by extending the scope, geography, product offer, etc.


Set up and manage regular Customer Account Meetings with relevant internal functions, marketing, Technology, Supply Chain, etc.


Set up a Customer governance structure per account including regular performance meetings  with the assigned accounts tracking performance and operational kpi’s and making agreed interventions. Ensure account plans are regularly updated


Build a strong sales funnel of prospective customers who value CO2-free steel and are leaders of sustainability in their respective marketplaces


Manage pre-sale negotiations and expectations both internally and externally


Lead the drafting of contracts with the support of the legal team


Assist the qualification processes, together with operations and technical service


Actively engage in market intelligence regarding supply, demand, and pricing trends


Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts of sales plans for the assigned market as required


This position will require extensive travel

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor's degree in a business or engineering related field


Experience in managing regional/transnational key accounts, , negotiating long term contracts. Steel experience and/or Automotive OEM experience preferred

Fluency in English is required, ideally proficient in additional languages as well

Project Cost Engineering Lead
Are you a cost control expert with a passion for driving financial performance on large-scale infrastructure developments? Stegra is seeking a Lead Project Cost Controller to play a critical role in one of the largest and most ambitious industrial undertakings in Sweden's history—the Boden Project.
As a key member of our Project Services team, you will lead cost management activities across a major project area, ensuring financial accuracy, forecasting integrity, and compliance with EPCM standards.


Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of cost control for a major area of the project, ensuring alignment with project budgets, objectives, and contractual commitments.
Collaborate with EPCM contractors to review cost reports, change orders, cash flows, and forecasts during regular monthly meetings.
Work closely with finance and accounting teams to deliver accurate and timely cost forecasts, reports, and variance analyses.
Interface with Area Managers and the broader project controls team to align financial data with project execution.
Provide clear written and oral reports to senior management and support the Head of Project Services in executive-level presentations.
Monitor project progress and cost trends to identify risks and proactively drive corrective actions.
Evaluate estimating inputs and value engineering opportunities to optimize overall project cost performance.

What We’re Looking For
~10 years of experience in cost control for major industrial or infrastructure projects, preferably under EPCM contracts.
Strong knowledge of project delivery frameworks, cost management procedures, and industry standards (AACE, PMI).
Solid understanding of project interfaces: engineering, procurement, construction, safety, quality, finance, and planning.
Proficiency in cost control software and advanced reporting tools.
Demonstrated experience in estimating and reviewing complex project cost structures.

Technical Project Manager – Technology & Plant Development
The Technical Project Manager will be in charge of driving various types of projects within the Technology and Plant Development team at Stegra, ensuring on-time delivery with the right quality while applying best practices in project management. Projects will range from techno-economic assessments of novel technologies, to sprints supporting the implementation of Stegra’s first phase in Boden, to leading workstreams across technology, infrastructure, permitting, and engineering for Stegra’s international pipeline of H2-DRI projects.
You will lead and support engineers, analysts, and subject matter experts across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring efficient execution and alignment with organizational objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of large-scale green industrial development, gaining insight into the build-up of a modern, sustainable steel industry, and contributing to decarbonization at scale.
Role and Responsibilities
Lead individual projects and workstreams within Technology and Plant Development, covering areas such as technology evaluation, process development, and plant design.
Ensure successful delivery of concept and pre-FEED phases for novel green industrial projects, including scoping, budgeting, planning, team coordination, and follow-up.
Manage external consultants, engineering partners, and suppliers to secure high-quality and timely deliverables.
Oversee project performance against time, cost, and quality standards, providing regular updates to leadership.
Support business case preparation, including technical inputs for investment decisions and strategic growth projects.
Coordinate and prepare materials for Stegra’s strategic Technology Board, including presentations, decision papers, and progress reports.

Requirements and Skills
Master’s degree in mechanical, industrial, chemical, or electrical engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
5–10 years of experience in technical project management, ideally within large capital projects or process industries.
Solid understanding of engineering and project management workflows across pre-FEED, FEED, procurement, and execution.
Proven ability to manage budgets, contractors, and consultants in demanding environments.
Experience preparing high-quality presentations and decision materials for senior management or steering boards.

Lead Compliance OfficerAs an Lead Compliance Officer at Stegra you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company's ethics & compliance program. You willhave a key role in setting the foundation for securing Stegra’s adherence to ethical practices and long-term success. You will work closely with the different teams to establish and maintain policies, procedures, and practices that promote adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Primary compliance areas in scope include anti-trust, anti-corruption, sanctions, export control, data privacy, as well as human rights. What you’ll doRight now, we are looking for a Construction Counsel to join our Legal team. In this role you will report to our General Counsel and sit within our Corporate Legal function. The team is responsible for providing legal support across Stegra’s business, safeguarding compliance, and ensuring sound risk management while enabling our mission to accelerate the green transition.
Specific to this role, the day-to-day tasks will include the following – but as we are a growing company with very little silos between teams, other tasks might be included as well:

- Provide proactive and strategic legal advice to the execution team throughout the construction phase of our first green steel plant in Boden.


- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks related to execution of large-scale construction projects.


- Support dispute resolution by evaluating potential disputes, advising on resolution strategies, and coordinating with external counsel when required.


- Draft, negotiate, and review execution-related agreements and amendments to ensure alignment with contractual and regulatory frameworks.


- Collaborate with project finance and the execution team to support financing requirements and ensure information flow regarding execution-related agreements.


- Act as a trusted legal partner, enabling smooth project execution and ensuring compliance with operational, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

As a Project Risk Manager at Stegra, you’ll be working within the Project Delivery function, within the project services group and providing support to the Risk and Opportunities Lead and projects teams. The role requires excellent personal and interpersonal skills, and you will be at the core of our project delivery team, working across the full lifecycle of greenfield and brownfield projects. A role which supports all aspects of risk management ensuring qualitative risk insights guide decision-making. This role requires a background in capital projects, facilitation skills, and the ability to lead and influence multidisciplinary teams.
Specific to this role, the day-to-day tasks will include the following but as we are a growing company with very little silos between teams, other tasks might be included as well.


Develop and implement risk plans for capital projects across all lifecycle phases (FEL1 to execution).
Facilitate structured assessments, project risk workshops.
Update risk registers, support risk and action owners, and ensure mitigation activities are tracked and monitored.
Maintain, monitor, and analyze project risk registers to ensure alignment with project objectives and proactive risk management.
Support risk-based decision-making at the project level through clear reporting and communication.
Provide support to project teams on risk methodologies, and collaborate closely with project functions such as Planning, Cost, HSE, and Engineering to embed risk management into project delivery.
Assist in configuring project risk structures (registers, matrices, breakdowns), and facilitate risk profile development workshops.
Participate in specialized risk reviews e.g., procurement, contract, change management.
Support project close-out by documenting risk-related lessons learned and contributing to the continuous improvement of risk processes.
Liaise with the Risk and Opportunities Lead regarding best practices and standard application across projects.

Hydrogen Process Lead
The Hydrogen Process Lead is responsible for the design, coordination, and continuous development of hydrogen-related process engineering. This role ensures efficient and integrated process design across internal and external stakeholders, including electrolyzer suppliers and engineering firms, to meet the technical and safety standards required in the steel industry.
Design and optimize safe, sustainable, and cost-effective hydrogen processes, and coordinate technical work with electrolyzer suppliers and engineering firms.
Review and validate vendor and engineering documents, including drawings, datasheets, specifications, and calculations.
Act as the main point of contact for cross-process interfaces, such as air separation units (ASU) and water treatment facilities.
Execute detailed process engineering, including calculations, equipment sizing, optimization, and preparation of key engineering documents (PFDs, P&IDs;, datasheets, HAZOP documentation, etc.).
Ensure process engineering activities progress on time and align with overall project plans.

Qualifications:
Academic degree in Chemical, Process Engineering, or a related field, with strong process engineering experience (preferably in hydrogen production or oil & gas).
Proven background in projects, startups, commissioning, and technical coordination across teams.
Deep knowledge of process design, industrial gas systems, safety standards, and risk analysis methods like HAZOP.

Interface Coordinator
We are looking for a Interface Coordinator to support our projects by ensuring seamless management of interfaces between our EPCM contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. The role will be pivotal in ensuring that all interfaces are clearly defined, tracked, and managed, minimizing risks and ensuring smooth project execution. You will help to align key engineering deliverables across different disciplines, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues between stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the definition, tracking, and management of interface points (IPs) across engineering, procurement, construction, and management teams.
Ensure all relevant engineering deliverables are utilized to verify interfaces and that they are captured in the Interface Management System (IMS).
Facilitate regular interface meetings between contractors, initiate IP definition, ensuring efficient communication and exchange of project information.

Join Stegra as a Lead Planner in Boden, a key role within our Project Services team. Reporting to the Planning Manager, you'll take ownership of the project schedule for a designated area in the Boden project and lead a team of Planners working in that area.

Our first Hydrogen based steel project in Boden is broken down into 4 areas: Hydrogen
manufacturing, Iron making (DRI), Steel making, as well as Site Infrastructure and utilities. As Head of an Area, you will report directly to the Project Director of the Boden project, and you will assume responsibility to deliver such an area from engineering to hand-over to operations.
Your main responsibility is to deliver the project on time and budget by driving key contracts and coordinating resources across the internal team as well as with our partners. You will report status and escalations of the project directly into the management team and other stakeholders (such as Board) as necessary.


In addition to delivering the Boden project, you will develop Stegra's ability to execute projects in a way that competes on a global scale. You will be seen as an expert in project delivery within your area and will develop your cross-functional team accordingly. In the Head of Area position, you work in a matrix structure in close cooperation with Site Execution, Project Control and Engineering to optimize delivery.
The role is based in Stockholm, Sweden, with regular travel to various project, contractor, and fabrication sites as required.
Responsibilities
Lead the area project team (internally and with external partners) in setting priorities and delivery targets necessary to achieve the company’s goals for the project
Setup and implement Stegra's governance structure for your specific area across disciplines (e.g. procurement, engineering, construction, commissioning), ensuring it is functioning as required for driving communication, decisions, and control
Working across various teams in Stegra to ensure projects are resourced efficiently, setting project priorities, clarifying roles & responsibilities, and tracking committed deliverables
Develop the cross functional team to be a world class project delivery team.
Own and deliver against scope, schedule, and budget.
Control scope source of truth and clearly communicate this to the team, keeping them on critical task. Ultimate line of ownership for change management.
Focus team on critical path to ensure delivery of key milestones. Clearly track and communicate against schedule priorities.
Manage cost against target budget, driving all stakeholders for continuous
improvement and focus on minimum technical solutions, by optimizing and challenging everything.

Qualifications
Minimum 15 years industry experience, of which at least 10 years with hands-on project leadership experience in demanding industrial environment (e.g. Steel, Oil & gas, semiconductor, automotive, battery manufacturing)
Engineering degree (B.Sc. / M.Sc. or similar) or similar is required
Fluency in English
Track record as project manager driving complex projects, covering both planning/designing phase as well as execution phase
Experience working on an owner’s team is a plus
Experience working in multi-cultural environment is a plus Visa mindre
