At Remedy in the role of Office Coordinator, you will have an essential and versatile role in supporting our creative and dynamic studio. You will be a central person with many connection points to ensure our office runs smoothly and efficiently. No day is the same in game development, you will work high and low to assist where necessary.

This is a permanent position with probation period, and the preferred start date would be as soon as possible. The role will be full-time, based in our Stockholm office, and your working hours would be on weekdays between 8-16.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO



- In this role, you will keep the office running smoothly on a daily basis—making sure our spaces are tidy, stocked, and welcoming. You’ll be the go-to person for employees, visitors, and vendors, assisting with practical needs, IT coordination, and office-related requests.
- Arrange business travel and accommodation for employees, candidates, and visitors.
- Work in close collaboration and be proactive when it comes to events, activities and planning together with our Finnish Office team, making sure that things are handled in a timely manner for both our offices.
- Handle mail, parcels, invoices, expenses, and office supply orders.
- Maintain the kitchen, coffee machines, and common areas; support light maintenance and furniture arrangements.
- Plan, book, and host internal events and activities such as breakfasts, Christmas dinners, movie nights, yoga sessions, and language lessons.
- Support onboarding with welcome packages, office tours, and internal communication updates.
- Assist employees with daily needs like desk moves, bookings, food/taxi orders, and access requests.
- Provide on-site support for IT (printer fobs, guest Wi-Fi, workstation setups, meeting lounge prep).
- Be the contact person for cleaning, maintenance, and other service providers.


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE


- You have similar work experience as an Office Coordinator, Receptionist, or Customer Service Specialist, where excellent service has been the focus.
- You have experience with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- You are used to operating in an international environment and have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills in English and Swedish to ensure smooth communication with colleagues, vendors and visitors.

- You will animate a whole host of characters, along with vehicles and any environmental assets that help bring the world to life through visual storytelling means.
- You will develop and create animations for Player, Enemy and Companion NPC's using motion capture and hand-keyed animations.
- You will successfully collaborate with Directors, Narrative Designers, Level Designers and Environment/Hard-Surface Artists to enable a fast prototyping workflow, secure animation quality, and make sure that the Animation and Narrative Design guidelines are met.
- You will design, capture, and help integrate animations into our own proprietary Northlight engine while ensuring technical design constraints are met.
- You will also collaborate with the project team, communicating effectively and proactively, so that the development process runs smoothly.


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE




- You are an experienced Animator, having already worked in game development, with solid skills in keyframe animation (great sense of weight, timing and strong posing)
- You have a strong understanding of Motion Builder and mocap data editing techniques for games.
- You have a solid understanding of Narrative storytelling and character performance design in relation to Player experiences and actions.
- You are able to craft appealing animations, having an excellent understanding of shape, composition and layout – Cinematography and camera techniques a bonus.
- You have experience using game engines and hands-on experience working with state machine/blend tree solutions (knowledge of motion matching is a plus).
- You are adept at organising and managing your work to reach milestone goals and deliverables.
- You can give and receive constructive feedback when interacting with other team members, keeping the focus on making the best game possible.

Do you want to bring game User Interfaces to life through code? Are you passionate about programming high-quality UI components while maintaining frame and memory budgets in mind? In this role you would work alongside fellow UI programmers, UI/UX designers, Gameplay programmers and other relevant stakeholders, to build HUD widgets, Menus, and assorted UI components to serve the game vision.

You would have an impactful role in the game UI, as well as a chance to impact the overall UI craft by contributing to custom tools and technology, both with feedback and direct contributions.

About the Craft & Remedy The UI Craft is a small team distributed among all ongoing Remedy projects, developing each project’s UI and sharing knowledge, frameworks and tooling in the Northlight engine. - As a UI Programmer, you will be responsible for creating UI components and utilities to manage low-level DOM manipulation, by means of web technologies on top of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Additionally, you will delve into the heart of the game and write high-level C++ code to bring your UI alive.
- You will participate in code reviews, share technical solutions with the UI craft and contribute to advancing our workflows and pipelines in Northlight with our UI Toolkit.
- You have good communication skills, can effectively collaborate with designers, programmers, scripters and artists, and are willing to document your solutions for relevant parties to deliver the scope of the project




WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE


You are an expert in the modern web stack (Typescript, JSX, CSS Preprocessing, bundlers, etc.) You have deep knowledge of the DOM API, browser Event Loop, Layout and Draw performance effects of the different HTML/CSS operations You are sufficiently dexterous in modern, high-level C++ programming
- You have a basic understanding on how to build and optimize experiences with performance constraints: videogames, embedded web, mobile, etc.
- You are capable of working independently and at ease within a large, distributed project team.

You’ll get to design and prototype AI features with the support and direction of the Lead Gameplay Designer and NPC Lead.
You will be pitching new enemy archetypes and boss fights that fit the vision, gameplay and creative pillars of the game. You will write creative and technical design specs, and prototype enemy behaviors and abilities.
During the production stage you will be creating and maintaining behavior trees, finite state machines, environment queries and Lua scripts from early prototypes all the way through final implementation and polish.
You will work closely with programmers, character and VFX artists, animators and audio designers to bring the vision to final quality, evangelizing AI features to level designers and environment artists.
You’ll bring your combat experience to the level process, working with Level Designers to create world class combat encounters

You have a good understanding of rational game design principles and the role of AI in gameplay loops.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the animation team by implementing gameplay features and developing animation systems and tools. You will work collaboratively with animators, gameplay engineers, and designers to ensure that systems are created in a scalable manner and reduce dependencies on gameplay engineers for animation-specific features.
Additionally, you will help optimize gameplay animation features and develop procedural animation systems. You will also be responsible for improving animation workflows, systems, and tools in Unreal. You have demonstrable previous experience as a Senior Narrative Designer, Senior Level Designer or Senior Gameplay Designer, with a focus on designing and implementing narrative content and/or systems
Working proficiently with scripting languages (Lua, Python, Kismet etc.) and 3D level editors (Unreal, Unity, CryEngine etc. or proprietary engines) are part of your skillset
You have experience taking at least one (preferably multiple) core features from concept to release creating clear, understandable design and technical documentation
Understanding of narrative, game design and visual/cinematic storytelling techniques
Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances and production realities; able to give and take constructive feedback
Self-motivated and proactive, with a dedication to improving your craft
You thrive working in a team environment, sharing ideas and learning from others. What you get to do
You will be able to clearly communicate your vision to the team and have a great skill leading a group of talented artists at Remedy in developing the look of the environments and contributing to the overall game experience.
You define and track the schedule for the whole team and create staffing plans and estimates for your project. As a Lead you are responsible for planning and organizing your teams work delegating tasks and supporting your colleagues by mentoring and reviewing their work
You get to work together with our Art Director and other leads to push project quality while keeping style consistent across all environments
You are also able to work hands-on by blocking out whole locations to levels with greater understanding of art direction, gameplay, player guidance and metrics. Being responsible for your own level you get creative ownership with finding and maintaining the vision for that level. You enjoy creative problem-solving by creating prototypes and iterating on the levels using our proprietary engine, Northlight
You actively follow the development of environment creation technology and pipelines in the industry and work together with the Northlight tools team in improving our proprietary technology by defining workflows and content pipelines. You will be identifying and setting up best practices across the project
Advise, review, and provide feedback and guidance to external development on maintaining the quality and art style of the project



What you bring to the role
You have demonstrable work experience as a Lead Environment Artist, Lead Level Architect or in equivalent role
Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills
You have expert level understanding of shape, composition, and layout
You are familiar working either within Maya, 3DS Max or other 3D software package and have good technical understanding of game engines
You have good understanding for gameplay and level design
You are self-motivated and proactive with a dedication to improving your craft
