Role Overview
At Motatos, our data team can only move as fast as the infrastructure that supports it. We work with massive amounts of data and every insight, model, and decision depends on strong foundations. Your role is to make sure those foundations are rock solid.
We’re looking for a data platform engineer who thrives on building infrastructure at scale. From Terraform to CI/CD pipelines, cloud resources to data platforms, you’ll design and maintain the systems that let our team deliver with speed and confidence. You’ll be the backbone of the data team, making sure data flows securely, reliably, and efficiently so that the team can focus on creating value.
Responsibilities
Architect, provision, configure and operate Snowflake infrastructure on Azure using Terraform.


Manage associated Azure cloud infrastructure required by the data platform.


Ensure that the data team can release reliably, using CI/CD pipelines.


Security & governance.


Monitor and optimize performance and cost.


Document architecture, standards and best practices.

Qualifications
3 years in data engineering, platform engineering or similar


Experience in cloud operations and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, or similar)


Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines


Strong and Python skills


Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably using Terraform


Familiarity with Docker and containerized solutions

Matsmart has a modern e-commerce architecture built on a headless e-commerce platform connected to our custom-developed core middleware hosted in Azure using .NET Core with C#. What You’ll Do Own and develop our influencer and affiliate marketing strategy in DACH

Strong network and know-how in working with creators, influencers, affiliates and other partnerships, especially in Germany and Austria.
Analytical mindset—you know your CAC from your ROAS, and you’re comfortable pulling reports and optimizing campaigns and partnerships.

In this role you’ll own the strategic and operational direction of CRM across all markets — leading a skilled team and working cross-functionally to turn insights into action. As a Nordic director you are responsible for leading the commercial operation of the nordic markets - Sweden, Finland and Denmark! What you'll do
As our Nordic PR Manager at Matsmart you will be responsible for building and strengthening public relations in the Nordic markets. In line with the company values and brand, you will be part of creating and managing communication concepts and themes that resonate with and reach key stakeholder groups, mainly customers and potential customers: the general public. We are now looking for an additional Financial controller to oversee day-to-day finance operations in both the Nordics and future markets. You will work closely with all parts of the organization and with our outsourced accounting partners.

What you’ll do
You will make sure our financial numbers and processes are in order, our internal controls are adequately designed, implemented and followed up, and ensure full integration and transparency between local and group accounting. You will:

- As a part of our central Finance team you will focus on developing our financial and accounting processes in the Nordics

As SEM & Display Manager at Matsmart/Motatos you are responsible for managing and optimizing performance marketing campaigns mainly in SEM and Programmatic/Display. You’ll join an engaged and competent team, acting as the main legal stakeholder in all matters regarding compliance and data privacy across markets and throughout the organization. You’ll also hold the legal commercial responsibility for the German market. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Owning all compliance-related matters across existing and upcoming markets. This includes e.g., data privacy, GDPR, food safety and consumer legislation.

The Role:
As a Frontend Developer at Matsmart/Motatos, you will be part of driving a positive change, fighting food waste, and reducing our climate footprint. ??Since we are scaling up our platform to handle new markets and an increased amount of customers, we offer you an exciting role filled with responsibility and variety. Your main responsibilities will be to:

- Continue to plan, design and develop our frontend (React, Redux, Sass) for existing and new markets
- Maintain the current stack, with regular updates and patches
- Write high-quality code and do code -reviews with the team
- Be a key player in building a strong team with high-quality output and create a culture of innovation
- Use your understanding of our business goals to create solid and high-quality solutions inline with our long-term strategy


We believe that you:
- Have a solid experience of developing B2C Frontend with React ecosystems, Redux, Sass, Next.js, Node, and REST
- Have experience in test-driven development
- Have experience or interest in UX work, A/B testing, log analysis, patch management, APIs, CDNs and caching
- Have experience in working within e-commerce or retail (if you don't have it yet, we'll teach you everything we know)
- Like to have fun at work and have a customer-centric mindset
- Are eager to learn from your colleagues and can also bring something to the table

The Role:
As an Engineering Manager at Matsmart/Motatos you will have the overall responsibility of an in “all” aspects efficient development process. Since we are scaling up our platform to handle new markets and an increased amount of customers, we offer you an exciting role filled with responsibility and variety.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

- Be a leader of one or several development teams, taking accountability for recruitment, delivery, and technological health.
- Support, coach, and mentor our developers, creating opportunities for them to grow.
- Build a high-performing team with a strong DevOps culture.
- Own agile development, continuous improvement, technical excellence, and team dynamics for the team you are responsible for
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and business stakeholders to optimize resource allocation, resolve dependencies, evaluate trade-offs and estimate development efforts.
- Spend a portion of your time writing code yourself


We believe that you:
- Have 2+ years experience as Engineering Manager/Tech Lead with strong leadership qualities, with focus on communication and team building
- Have strong Frontend development skills focusing on React, Redux, Next.js, Node, REST and Sass
- Have experience in working within e-commerce or retail (if you don't have it yet, we'll teach you everything we know)
- Like to have fun at work and have a customer-centric mindset
- Are eager to learn from your colleagues and can also bring something to the table
