Could you be the full-time Safety Assurance Engineer in Stockholm we’re looking for?


Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and safety assurance expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside meticulous, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious teammates.
You'll manage and perform the critical activities related to safety assurance in our projects, ensuring the highest standards are met. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Management, Design, Verification, Test & Commissioning, Homologation), coordinate safety assurance activities, and much more.

Som PI Troubleshooter kommer du att spela en avgörande roll i att säkerställa prestanda och tillförlitlighet hos Alstoms produkter under igångkörning, test & validering och under garantiperioden. Du arbetar nära tvärfunktionella team inom kvalitet, ingenjörsverksamhet och projektledning för att identifiera och lösa tekniska utmaningar, samt driva förbättringar av produktens prestanda.

Utföra felsökning och garantireparationer av SJ250 fordon.

Hantera tekniska undersökningar.
Hantera rapportering av fältdata samt annan administration
Supporta validering av underhållsdokumentation.
Vara uppdaterad angående förändringar i underhållsdokumentation.
Tillämpa och följa Alstoms och kundens arbetsmiljö- och säkerhetsregler på plats
Medverka i arbetsmiljöarbetet på deåpn

Your future role:
As a Bid Manager, you will prepare winning proposals according to customer requirements and Alstom's bid strategy. The Bid Manager will be responsible for preparing, leading, and managing bid from Request for Proposal to the Project execution handover. As Bid Manager, you will work in the Bids department for the Nordics region, report hierarchically to the Bid Team Leader.

Your future role:

As a Test Leader you will be responsible to plan, lead and execute test activities in alignment with applicable Test & Commissioning procedures - you’ll make sure everything adheres to requirements, and much more. Applying this to new cutting-edge signalling systems, coupled with travel to different sites in Sweden and abroad whilst collaborating with internal and external stakeholders – this is a role with a great deal of variation and excitement!
Furthermore, in addition to this primary scope the Test Leader will also be expected to plan and perform other site works depending on the needs of the project.

We’ll look to you for:
Preparation of test and commissioning related documentation, such as test instructions, protocols/records and make sure they are reviewed, accessible and archived according to project routines and directives.
Prepare time schedules in cooperation with the Work Package Owner, Installation Leader and Commissioning Manager.
Execute test and commissioning activities and sign drawings/records/reports during and after performed tests.
Ensure that requests for dispositions, closed track and other protective measures are carried out when needed.
Make sure that involved personnel have the correct qualifications and authorizations to perform their respective tasks.
Make sure that work is carried out with respect to personal safety.
Make sure that all commissioning activities are executed and documented.

As an Application Design Engineer you will be responsible for Railway signaling design of specific applications.

Analyse and understand system requirements for the railway signalling system
Decide about technical solutions related to application design/configuration considering applicable internal and external railway rules and regulations.
Create and deliver specific application software configuration and documentation in accordance with applicable internal procedures for Configuration and Change Management to secure quality and safety.

All about you
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or any other equivalent field or work experience
Safety and system related engineering experience.
Computer knowledge for example installation of operating systems, drivers and network configuration.
Experience of development according to safety standards such as CENELEC (EN50126, EN50128, EN50129) or equivalent.
Experience in working with requirements, specifications and documentation of complex technical systems.
Language required: Swedish and English.
Railway signalling knowledge will be preferred.

Som PI Troubleshooter kommer du att spela en avgörande roll i att säkerställa prestanda och tillförlitlighet hos Alstoms produkter under igångkörning, test & validering och under garantiperioden. Supporting in DFx (Design for Manufacturing, Testability, Reliability and Repairability) in the electronic HW development process.
Managing the industrial process for electronic products.

Your future role
Working with railway signalling has never been more exciting than now. The new European standard, ERTMS is on its way to reshape the future of public transportation.
You will lead, coordinate, and perform all the activities from the Tender phase up to Operational phase in order to ensure that our solutions are reliable, maintainable and available. For this, you will identify the best architectures according to RAM performance requirements, customer’s needs and operational conditions. You will also guarantee a risk control for each requirement related to RAM and perform continuous reliability growth in projects and programs.
To guarantee the optimal performance level of our systems, you will be accountable for the main Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Testability aspects over the lifecycle phases of the solutions.

During Tender and Design phases, you will:
Support Tender and Sourcing teams to choose and integrate the products and systems in the projects,
Avoid non-compliance and minimize the penalties,
Do Reliability Predictions (MTTF/MTBF),
Assess expected Lifetimes,
Perform Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA),
Analyse Degraded modes and influence the design,
Model Availability and calculate Service Reliability,
Conduct Maintainability and Testability analysis.

During Operational phase, you will lead the following activities:
Data collection from the field, from maintenance and from the repair sites,
Root cause identification and RAM classification of the reported failures,
Statistical analysis of collected data,
Reliability growth analysis and actions plans proposal,
Design recommendations based on RAM studies,
Verification of the adequacy of architecture choices to the RAM targets.


You will report directly to the CNE Nordics Regional RAM Department Head and as dotted line to the Manager of Projects and Programs to which you will be assigned and considered as the RAM reference.
Internally, you will interface with the RAM Community, the Project or Program Core teams, Safety, the Engineering Métiers (Hardware, System, Verification & Validation, etc.), Cybersecurity, Tenders, Sourcing, Installation, Test and Commissioning, and Warranty & Maintenance. Responsible for the Scope, Cost and Schedule of the Work Package.

Din framtida roll
I rollen kommer du att hantera ingenjörsverksamhen i Alstoms kontrakt gällande underhåll och tekniksupport i Norra Sverige. Kunderna är SJ, VR och LKAB och kontrakten avser underhåll av Trafikverkets Nattvagnar och lok, Norrtåg regionaltåg bestående av fordon av typen Coradia X62, Regina X52 och ASEA X11, samt materialförsörjning och teknisk support för IORE lok. Underhållet utförs huvudsakligen i 2 depåer lokaliserade i Luleå samt Umeå.

Du agerar som teknisk expertis till både interna och externa intressenter för att effektivisera och vidareutveckla Alstoms ingenjörsverksamhet inom aktuell region. Du kommer tillsammans med ingenjörerna för respektive flotta att arbeta med tilldelade delprojekt och ansvarsområden inom projekten. Du förväntas, baserat på den insamlade erfarenheten, föreslå förbättringar och modifieringar av fordonen och bidra till kontinuerlig utveckling specifikt när det gäller tillgänglighet, tillförlitlighet och förbättrade underhållsmetoder. Du och teamet kommer att arbeta tillsammans med Alstoms Maintenance Performace Center där vi samlar förbättringsaktiviteter och kunskap om flottor av samma typ i Fleet performace teams (tex Coradia, Regina).
Du kommer att rapportera till Alstoms RSM Engineering Manager Nordics samt Project Manager för respektive projekt och kommer att spela en central roll i projektens ledningsgrupp.

Du kommer även att:
Ansvara för ingenjörsteamet om ytterligare 3-4 personer
Själv vara operativ i projektaktiviteterna
Hantera och underhålla den tekniska definitionen och konfigurationen av fordonen
Säkerhetsställa att fordonen underhålls med järnvägssäkerhet i fokus och hålla underhållsdokumentation för projektet uppdaterad.
Ägare till det tekniska arbetspaketet för projektet, uppfylla QCD-mål och hantera tillhörande risk
Se till att produktsäkerhetspolicyn implementeras
Hantera flottornas tekniska prestanda vid underhåll och drift (såsom tillgänglighet, tillförlitlighet, underhållsmässighet) samt erfarenhetsåterföra till relevant fordonsplattform.
Definiera underhållsteknisk plan och organisera relevant team
Agera som teknisk expertis mot kunden vid behov
Hantera tekniska avvikelser, initiering av incidentanalysrapporter samt rotorsaksanalyser

In the role, you will be part of the engineering function within Alstom Services in the Nordics. Your main task is to optimize our customers' vehicles from a sustainability, cost and efficiency perspective. In close cooperation with a tender team and with support of our local as well as global organization you deliver to our Rolling stock Maintenance projects, specifically during the tender phase, but in your role you can also support projects in execution phase. With the help of engineering know-how, available technical documentation and accumulated experience from the organization, you identify and propose optimizations of maintenance, question the cost analysis and evaluate possible strategies. The common goal is to produce competitive tenders and prosperous, cost-effective maintenance projects.

In maintenance and material supply tenders, be responsible for delivering maintenance plan, bill of materials, direct maintenance cost model (project controlling version), risk and opportunity register based on the latest field data and support tender managers and tender teams.
Evaluate and define maintenance strategy together with tender team
Calculate bonus/penalty regimes and provide these to the tender team
Optimize and improve maintenance cost with regard to material and labor time
Challenge the manufacturing units in the development of vehicles and definition of the LCC (Life Cycle Cost)
Review and consolidate RAM(Reliability Availability Maintainability)/LCC data with maintenance project engineers and systems engineers.
Ensure feedback of experience and needs from the perspective of the maintenance projects

What Will You Do?
We offer multiple opportunities within our Services, Rolling Stock or Digital and Integrated Solutions Business product lines.

You will complete 12 months development programme whilst providing a tangible contribution to the success of the team. The programme starts on 1st September 2025.
You will undertake four rotations of three months each around the various departments and locations of the company, gaining an understanding of the business and the service operation lifecycle through participating in strategic projects. Developing your knowledge during your time at Alstom is key, along with developing your skills and experience.
The first and last rotation will be in your base location which matches best your background and interest. In Sweden this can be Stockholm or Västerås.
The program aims the possibility of an international rotation within our Nordics organisation.

As a Life Cycle Cost Engineer, you are responsible for supporting the Sales team and manages the engineering services technical scope of bids ensuring the delivery of an accurate and competitive proposal in line with the standard solution and commercial strategy.
We’ll look to you for:
Provide to the Bid Manager the estimate of engineering services effort needed for the bid preparation
Negotiate with the Project Engineering Director the allocation of the technical team in line with the bid needs (expertise and timing)
Analyze, with the support of System Application Architect(s), the potential gaps between the customer's specification and standard solutions and products and support Bid Manager and Tender Leader in defining the most suitable compliance strategy
Build the system architecture applying the solution chosen with the support from the Solutions Directors
Coordinate, from a technical point of view, the bid internal stakeholders (Installation, Testing & Commissioning, RCs Project Engineering, Development Centers) and the external stakeholders (if applicable) to ensure overall understanding of the bid technical strategy (including scheme plans, bill of quantities, migration strategy, PDO, etc.)
When applicable, propose the migration strategy to be applied with close collaboration with the Installation and T&C teams
Perform requirements compliance analysis and/or clause-by-clause of technical bid documents
Consolidate the technical assumptions applicable to the bid
Prepare and lead a Technical Design Review up to the approval of the technical scope associated to the bid
Lead the preparation and consolidation of the technical documentation to be delivered with the bid
Coordinate the engineering quotations and risks evaluation checking for overall consistency and competitiveness
Support Bid Manager during the negotiation with the Customer, identifying any technical change during that phase
Ensure a smooth handover with the PrEM (Project Engineering Manager) in case of contract award

Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Xavier Carayon (NOR Installation Manager), and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.
As an PrFOM, you will be responsible for planning and managing all site operations, in close cooperation with the Project Manager, the installation engineering and design activities, the procurement and logistics activities, and ensure integration on field and installation of the complete system. You will have accountability at a project level, from performance points of view, in compliance with signaling and security strategy, policies, standards, local regulations and professional standards.
We’ll look to you for:
Manage Field operations Work-Package
Manage and organize site operations including facilities, resource plan, site access and tools.
Manage planning, risks, opportunities, best practices, nonconformities, technical interfaces
Subcontractor management, including quality and delivery monitoring
Manage interfaces with third parties (within the scope of his/her work)
Coordination of the Logistic activities (incl. warehouse management)
Deployment and application of Signaling Installation Process on Site (including Handover to Test & Commissioning)
Continuously improving installation performance within the Project./ identify best practices and REX across the product line

Det är mycket meriterande om du har tidigare erfarenhet från underhåll av spårburna fordon, men du kan också ha övrig relevant erfarenhet från fordonsindustrin som till exempel buss- eller lastbilsmekaniker.


För att lyckas i rollen tror vi du har:
• en teknisk utbildning eller motsvarande erfarenhet
• lätt att ta dig an nya IT-system

Du behöver även vara flytande i både engelska och svenska.

Meriterande är:
• B-körkort
• Truck- och traverskort
• Erfarenhet av underhåll av spårburna fordon
• Kännedom om järnvägssäkerhet
• Heta arbeten

Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your manager expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Florian Grouset (Product Introduction Manager Nordics), and work alongside depot managers and warranty teams, industrial central team and teammates from services industrial network.

You'll deploy the industrialization processes and standards within PI sites. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, give support to tenders and depots across the nordics.
You’ll specifically take care of participate in industrializing the execution of the field modifications on all the Alstom to optimise the project costs. , but also identify internal training needs and perform MoB (Make or Buy) analysis. Help developing & implementing training.
