Who we are looking for

Are you a marketing and communications wizz with a passion for all things that drive sales and customer success forward? Are you strategic, a doer, an entrepreneurial marketer and a communicator that can make magic happen? This may be just the challenge you are looking for!

In this role you will be responsible for the marketing and communications at Addressya and report to the Head of Sales and Marketing. We are growing, and you will have the opportunity to build a team in the future.


Tasks and responsibilities:

- Develop and operationalise the global marketing and communications strategy, including company profile.
- Lead generation for inbound sales
- Build and develop the Addressya community for sales referrals and engagements around our contribution to achieving the UN SDGs
- Create opportunities for Addressya in new segments and markets through communication and community building
- Develop standards and ascertain quality assurance in all communication and materials
- Develop product/sales marketing material
- Build the Addressya brand through communication, thought leadership and relevant content.
- Manage Addressya’s marketing and communication channels (website, SoMe, Web, Print, etc)
- Project manage events and participation of C-level / staff on panels, talks etc.
- Coordinate applications for awards and incubator support.






Skills and requirements

- Experience of successful lead generation through communication, community building and social selling.
- High level of technical understanding to be able to translate product specifications into customer value
- Growth, impact and revenue driven
- Experience in building successful and engaging communities
- Experience in brand building and creating successful viral content and communication trends
- Exceptional communications skills (English, Swedish, a plus if you also have any of the following; French, Kinyarwanda, Luganda, Swahili)

What we offer

This is a full-time position with a permanent contract where the first 6 months are a probation period. Successful applicants are either based in Sweden, Uganda or Rwanda. You will be part of an Agile product development team consisting of frontend and backend developers, one UX/UI designer, Scrum Master, the CTO and you. You will work researching, designing and evaluating the next generation of the app and other products, for individuals and business users together with the rest of the team with access to the relevant end-users in East Africa.

- Work as a part of the product team to deliver the best possible product experience
- Design high-quality, user-friendly interfaces for our digital products
- Work with the team to refine, plan and prioritise user stories according to business value, always taking technical debt and the long-term success of the product into account

- 3+ years of experience from creating digital products within the UX/UI field

About the job
You’ll be part of the Product Management & Analytics Team and report directly to the CTO. You’ll be working in an international environment.


Your main responsibility will be to improve the code base and work on updates and bug fixes for the creation of Firebase Analytics and bigQuery data from the apis, backend and frontends of the Addressya platform; and to maintain and update the bigQuery data warehouse supporting the development of dashboards and reports in Data Studio. About the job
A?ddressya is hiring a Finance Manager to lead the financial management and financial strategy for the organisation.? In this role, you are responsible for Finance and Resources (inkl. HR and admin), and the development of this department. You are part of the core management and the leadership team. You will be responsible for our part time accounting officer and work closely with our accounting business partner.


?You will be accountable for all aspects of the financial management, including all financial planning and analysis, compliance, accounting, payroll?,? purchases?,? statutory reporting?, ?record management and financial aspects of operations.


Profile
Demonstrated experience leading, developing, and working as part of an effective team.
3 years of senior management experience
Substantial experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in an international venture.
Master's degree, preferably in Business Administration/Finance
Demonstrated experience of multi-entity, multi jurisdiction accounting
Demonstrated direct experience of financial reporting to the Board and tax authorities
Excellent command of written and spoken English and fluent Swedish

Responsibilities
Managing the finance team, HR and administration
Support the development of business models for financial sustainability and growth.
Develop projections and model scenarios, and provide all financial data including monthly reports to support strategic and business planning processes as well as reporting to the board.
Effective management and development of accounting processes for Stockholm HQ and field offices in East Africa, meeting statutory standards and deadlines within multiple jurisdictions.

You will be part of an Agile product development team consisting of frontend and backend developers, one UX/UI designer, Scrum Master, the CTO and you.
