About the roleYou will play a key role in our Core Tech team, delivering IT architecture, system administration, DevOps and web development services to the whole company. The team manages all our internal and external systems and is central to our products and operations.
The role is varied - here are some examples of what you will do:
Setup, configure and manage our Linux based servers
Develop our core IT infrastructure internally and externally
Help define and implement our DevOps processes used in building our products
Provide IT and platform services for all parts of the company
Support in office IT needs, e.g. networking, computers and servers

We work in a mixed environment based on Linux, macOS and Windows. Our servers are mainly based on reproducible Linux installations (NixOS), with services built on major cloud platforms.

About youAbove all you are curious, ambitious and eager to learn. It's natural for you to get things done: you take pride in completing what you set out to do, not leaving things half done.
You have knowledge and experience from one or more of the following:
Computers and hardware in general, Linux in particular
Service and network administration
Nix / NixOS
Experience with Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform
Software/web development in general

Your formal experience is less important, but you probably have a deep technological interest and some work or educational experience from the work areas mentioned above. Computers and technology is probably a hobby of yours - perhaps you tinker with Raspberry Pi systems, build mechanical keyboards or self host your own NAS storage solution.
It's a big plus if you have an interest in playing or making music in some form: making beats, playing with synths, drumming or playing the guitar.

About the role ????
As Head of Product, you will lead a team of Product Managers, Designers and Specialists, convert our long-term strategic product goals into roadmaps and operational plans, being responsible for both the quality and pace of our product releases.

Your experience of bringing products to market through the full development lifecycle will allow you to optimise and own our work processes. As a senior member of XLN you will bring your leadership and management expertise to work closely with our founders, along with collaborating cross-functionally and managing and growing your own Product team.

About the role ????

As the Event & Office Coordinator you will have an important role where your overall goal is to contribute to a world class employee experience for all employees at XLN Audio. You will do this by ensuring that we have an inspiring work and office environment, that we share memorable experiences during events, and by making sure that we have good internal service. Some of the things you will be focusing on are:

- Plan, book and carry out office activities, AWs, events, and conferences as well as managing purchases in connection with these

- Plan, organize, and implement projects and changes related to the office - like interior design projects

- Have overall responsibility for the daily operation of the office

- Provide support in HR- and Talent Acquisition-related matters, for example, create documents and templates

- Carry out various initiatives in Employer Branding related areas

- Manage internal administration, such as receipts/expenses, mobile subscriptions, as well as salary reporting (together with an external salary partner)

You will be part of the HR team, a small (but very nice!) team. You will report to and work closely with the HR manager.

To succeed and thrive, we believe you have:

- Experience from the service sector or a similar role with focus on event coordination

- A project manager’s mindset when it comes to planning and coordination

- Excellent skills in both Swedish and English

About the role????

We are looking for a Web Designer who will have a significant impact on how we are presented to the world through our website, digital advertising and email programs. You will improve on website features such as Site Search and design new features such as interactive versions of our products online. You will also create completely new experiences using modern web technologies such as web midi and web audio. You will also design creatives for online advertisement.



Given that the web is becoming more dynamic and the line between web development and product development is starting to merge, you will get the opportunity to design completely new customer experiences - pushing the boundaries for what the web could be.

To be successful in this role we believe that you are driven and enjoy being challenged by things outside of your comfort zone. You have good attention to detail and are both structured and have a creative mind.




We believe that you have:

- A couple of years of experience in a Web Designer role or similar

- Experience in: - UI System Design

- UX

As a Sound Product Manager you will…

- Be responsible for our sound product portfolio. The mission is to grow both its size and its breadth towards our strategic goals.
- Establish and lead a team of audio specialists both employees and consultants, to acquire and handle a steadily growing stream of content.
- Network and connect with potential sound content partners such as artists and producers across the globe. Negotiate and set up partnerships or co-op projects.
- Work with Product Design and Marketing on how the sound products should be presented in our products and in the marketing.
- Work with XLN Audio’s marketing team collaborating on partner opportunities and sound marketing opportunities.
- Report to the CEO and own the sound content budget.




WHO ARE YOU?

You love music and tech! You have a solid understanding and skills in audio production (DAWs, plug-ins, audio recording, etc.) and you also have great skills in managing others in complex projects. Although you will not be the primary audio technician, you need to know the context and the production process well so that you can plan projects and lead others. You are business minded and able to see the product and marketing perspective.



You have:

- 4+ years of being a leader of a team
- A good understanding and knowledge in the field of products and marketing, preferably work experience in such contexts as product management, marketing or similar.
- 5+ years of knowledge and experience in music and audio production, recording sound and using plug-ins and DAW’s. Preferably in a professional context, but this is not a strict requirement.
- Experience in negotiating business contracts, for example hiring consultants or negotiating license agreements etc.
- Understanding of audio/media production processes - how a project works, the roles you need, the phases you go through, etc.
- Good ears. Ability to assess the recording production quality of audio or music materials.
- University education related to business, product development, marketing or similar.
- Preferably you have experience in having staff/HR responsibility before.
- Fluent English skills in speech and writing. Swedish not required.


You are highly capable of working in an unstructured environment and defining new frameworks and systems. You are business-minded and proactive with the ability to create value for the company's strategic work. Furthermore, you are a socially communicative person and enjoy networking and creating new liaisons. Creative, self-propelling and structured with good collaboration skills.

As a Sound Producer you will…

- Be a part of our sound content team and the sound product development process, from the first ideas to recording or outsourcing content, editing, mixing and mastering, to releasing the finished product to the market
- Record, mix, edit and produce high quality sound content that will be used by hundreds of thousands of users in their music productions.
- Be a project manager for sound production projects. These projects can range from big budget projects collaborating with big studios, to smaller co-op project sourcing collections of samples or presets from consultants or partners.
- Contacting sound partners, selecting and acquiring content from those partners and making sure results are of high quality.
- Be highly involved in all technical aspects of the sound product production process. Recording, editing, mixing and mastering. Sometimes you will perform these tasks yourself, sometimes you will coordinate with and delegate that work to consultants.
- Work in XLN Audio's custom built production studios in Stockholm
- Work closely with, and report to the Sound Product Manager (we are recruiting this position also)




WHO ARE YOU? You love music and tech! You have a solid understanding and skills in audio production (DAWs, plug-ins, audio recording etc) and you also have great skills and understanding in audio production projects. This experience has preferably been gained as a working professional, for example as a Sound Engineer, Music Producer or similar.



Your profile:

- You have 5+ years of knowledge and experience working in music and audio production as a part- or full time professional. For example as a music producer, sound engineer etc.
- You are organized and capable of planning and coordinating production projects involving multiple parties, equipment, studios etc, writing specifications, planning timelines etc.
- You can work closely with others as a team member and also give clear instructions and specifications to consultants or co-op partners.
- You are friendly and good at communicating and networking.
- You feel completely at home working in one or more DAWs, using plug-ins etc.
- You have really good ears - you can assess the recording and production quality of audio and music materials.
- Fluent English skills in speech and writing. Swedish not required.
