Let us tell you about the role ???? As a Product Engineer at Nextory, you will be involved throughout the entire product development journey - from early ideas and problem discovery to implementation, launch, and continuous improvement. We’re shifting from traditional development roles towards engineers who take ownership, think holistically, and contribute far beyond writing code.
We believe that the future of software engineering is more about authoring intent than writing lines of code.
You will work across the stack with a focus on backend development, distributed systems, integrations, and scalable architecture. Just as importantly, you’ll collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders to shape solutions that create real value for our users.

Around 5 years or more experience working with backend development


A strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices patterns, and how to build for scalability and resilience.

As our new Partnership Manager Netherlands, you’ll be at the forefront of developing strategic collaborations and building long-term relationships in one of our most important markets. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Business Controller at Nextory you will be a vital part of the organization, and help the business by analysing revenues, cost, profitability and other important KPI:s. You will have a real opportunity to impact what happens here and now!
With a creative mindset, you will be given the opportunity to take part in Nextorys growth journey. Your main task will be to help make sure that we take the right decisions, at the right place at the right time. You will be responsible of analyzing revenues and cost items, important KPIs, and take a proactive role in developing the business in general. The role involves many contact areas both internally and externally, why it is very important that you have a good social skill set.
This is a wide role where you will have great potential to influence your role and responsibilities along the way. Some examples of what you might be spending your time on are:
- Analyzing revenue streams, key cost items and expenses
- Taking part in and improving budgeting, forecasting, and other FP&A processes
- Supporting business decisions with financial modeling and strategic analysis
- Monitoring key financial KPIs and preparing regular reports for stakeholders

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a QA Engineer – Mobile Apps at Nextory, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our mobile applications, delivering the best possible experience for our users. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated and manual tests to guarantee a delightful experience in our iPhone and Android apps.
You will:
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and plans mainly for mobile applications, but also occasionally for the backend serving the apps.
- Work closely with developers, product managers and product designers to define test strategies and ensure high-quality releases.
- Identify, track, and document bugs using industry-standard tools.
- Implement automated testing frameworks for mobile app components.
- Continuously improve testing processes and ensure best practices are followed.

As an Android Developer you will work with our main product - the app. With a creative mindset, you will help to create the Nextory world that our customers are invited to, with the aim to increase reading by creating great/richer reading experiences. As a member of a team, your focus is on delivering the features needed for the customers to be happy and the business to grow, while you assist in defining the details of those tasks and support the test and release process. The role involves many contact areas with the larger developer group and the business itself. The position is based in Stockholm and you report to our Head of Engineering.
