Overview:
As a R&D Manager you will have a strong influence on the product direction and evolution. She/He will collaborate with PLM, Verification, QA, Service and Support, and other Functional Leaders, to follow release strategy and cadence focused on meeting Customer demands and commitments as well as the project plans. The R&D Manager will ensure that each release is not only aligned with Mitel's strategy, but also have viable and differentiating content and will diligently manage the schedule, risk, and quality targets while coordinating with the R&D leaders from the various product teams that are part of the MX-ONE solution. People management for up to 12 highly skilled developers is also a part of the job.

Qualifications:
Essential Knowledge and skills:
University degree (minimum bachelor's degree) in Engineering/Computer Science, Telecommunication, or other relevant fields
Experience and knowledge of Telecom and Unified Communications
3+ years of proven management experience in product development
Excellent analytical skills resulting in clear and concise explanations of observations and problems
Ability to drive change in an environment in constant evolution
Some years of experience working in an AGILE way
Very good working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and verbal

Overview:
MiCloud Connect and MiVoice MX-ONE are Mitel’s global UC platforms for cloud and on-prem deployment. We are now looking for a skilled Senior Lead SW developer to join our international team.
As a part of the development team, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, security, and support of the back-end, including the whole SIP stack in the platform comprising both SIP extensions and SIP trunks but also 3PP integrations.

Overview:
Currently to our office in Stockholm, we are looking for:
It is a newly formed role within the MiCloud Telepo UCaaS R&D, and the right candidate should be a proponent of transformational change, with an excellent track record of taking on the challenge to improve the delivery throughput of a team. The ideal candidate should be driven to build highly scalable, fault-tolerant and easy to administer infrastructure for deploying, configuring, monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting services and applications. The role is varied in scope and technology and can entail the deployment of cloud solutions in GCP and/or AWS, delivering cloud projects, and supporting development teams with DevOps technologies (CI/CD pipelines, config management, etc.). One of the duties of the DevOps / Release Manager is also to evolve CI/CD framework within which the development department can accelerate deliveries to the production environments but also successfully realize the software quality goals for the ongoing and future projects.
The DevOps / Release Manager will be responsible for managing and improving the release of software throughout the software development lifecycle, including UAT, Pre-Production, Live and other ancillary environments. Assume ownership and continuous improvement of the release process by documenting release issues and developing plans to improve process and automation.
Working closely with the developers and testers both in-house and external to ensure that the deliverables can be deployed in a consistent and automatic way and ensuring that any interdependencies are known.
Defining, publishing milestones, and working with the wider change team to ensure that the quality is met within the milestones defined. Sharing KPIs on deliveries throughout the entire life cycle of development, deployment, and delivery.
This role will require you to lead a small team of approximately 7 engineers and take ownership of RTO and RPO KPI and metric management. This role reports directly to the Senior Director R&D Cloud UCaaS Solutions.
Responsibilities:


Provide leadership to the DevOps Team
Provide supervision and direction to the DevOps team, both as a mentor and technical resource including hiring, on-boarding and performance discussions.
Define and manage change control processes for development and release readiness criteria and ensure all changes meet criteria prior to deployment
Facilitate release activities across all MiCloud Telepo development ensuring quality and timely deployments across environments
Assume ownership and continuous improvement of the release process by documenting release issues and developing plans to improve process or automation
Define and ensure best practices are embraced and rolled out to drive scalability
Lead the end-to-end release workflows and detailed steps - to ensure on-time and effective delivery of high-quality releases
Work closely with development team(s) to resolve build problems/merge conflicts
Work closely with the development team to integrate the QA process with the overall CI/CD pipeline / Agile software development life cycle.
Oversee pre and post release tasks to ensure adherence to quality control processes
Developing the GCP/AWS Platform using Terraform, Ansible for configuration of our UCaaS solution, building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and working in a Scrum Tea
Responsible for maintaining consistency between MiCloud Telepo sandbox environments, from Development through QA, UAT and Production
Partner with key stakeholders to define release plans for upcoming releases
Has intimate knowledge of the agreed upon QA process, how it fits into the overall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and how it should be implemented across CI/CD pipeline
Stay apprised of changes in technology and industry practices related to CI/CD & DevOps

Required Skills and Qualifications:


Minimum 3 years of DevOps/Release Management experience
3+ years of supervision/management experience
Strong agile/scrum methodology competence
Developer experience and experience implementing or managing the implementation of automated testing tools
Cloud computing (Google Cloud Platform, AWS), preferably certified in one of these two cloud platforms
Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as code practices
Experience with DevOps tooling e.g. Ansible, Packer, Jenkins etc.
Experience with version control software such as BitBucket or GitHub
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong analytical, problem solving and prioritization skills
Experience with fast and agile release cycles
