We are now hiring a Head of Partnerships to lead, coach, and scale our team of Partnership Managers and Sales Directors, drive New Business & Account Growth strategies.
This is a people-first leadership role with full commercial responsibility. You won’t be expected to be the top salesperson in the room - instead, you’ll be the coach, motivator, and operator who enables the team to perform at its best.
 
The Role
As Head of Partnerships, you will lead Wehype’s Partnership Managers (PMs) and sales leaders, owning forecasting, planning, execution, and results. You will be responsible for driving new business, reactivating dormant accounts, and accelerating growth within existing partnerships - while building a high-performance, motivated team.
You will lead a team of 6–8 people, primarily based in Stockholm, with potential for limited remote team members in the future.
 
What You’ll Own
Sales Leadership & Team Development
?        Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Partnership Managers and Sales Directors.
?        Act as a hands-on coach and cheerleader for team success.
?        Build a strong performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
?        Ensure clear goals, priorities, and expectations across the team.
Commercial Ownership
?        Own forecasting, planning, pipeline health, and delivery of revenue results.
?        Increase focus on proactive outreach and net-new sales.
?        Reactivate previous or dormant customers and unlock new opportunities.
?        Strengthen account management quality to accelerate growth in existing partnerships.
Operational Excellence
?        Ensure high-quality sales execution, follow-up, and prioritization.
?        Work closely with internal sales support and operations functions to improve data quality, CRM discipline, and reporting.
?        Translate market data, customer insights, and launch signals into actionable sales initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
?        Partner closely with internal strategy, sales operations, campaign, and delivery teams.
?        Align sales execution with campaigns, creator programs, and client outcomes.
?        Be a key contributor to Wehype’s commercial strategy and growth roadmap.

Who You Are
?        Proven leader with strong experience coaching and managing commercial teams.
?        Solid understanding of the gaming industry (industry experience strongly preferred).
?        Comfortable owning numbers, forecasts, and results - while leading through people.
?        Strong operational mindset with the ability to structure, prioritize, and execute.
?        Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus, not a requirement).
?        Willing and able to work on-site in Stockholm 3–4 days per week.

You will be managing and nurturing relationships with game publishers and assisting them in their decision-making processes related to market and creator strategies, roadmaps, and objectives. What you will do

- Establish and nurture relationships with gaming publishers globally

- Develop tailored and data-driven creator strategies for our clients

- Showcase the Wehype platform and match functionality with specific client needs

- Attend global gaming events and visit our clients at their offices. Partnership Managers travel between 1-2 times per month

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as campaign operations, customer success, marketing, and the product team to ensure customer needs are being met and where learnings are shared effectively

- Actively contribute to bringing creative ideas and solutions to the team on how to improve the customer experience

Who you are

- 2+ years of experience in client-facing roles (Sales or Key Account Management)

- Passionate about video games and the gaming industry

- A team player with a strong ability to commit and follow through on projects and set objectives

- A doer that does not hesitate to jump on opportunities

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- An entrepreneurial spirit that is comfortable finding new and creative ways to address different projects

As a Backend Developer at Wehype, you'll play an integral role in building and optimizing our platform using a suite of technologies such as .NET, gRPC, GraphQL, among others. Requirements
Experience in one or more modern programming languages, preferably C#
Experience with the product development process, from brainstorming concepts to implementation of various applications
Experience in relational databases and knowledge of query optimization
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative environment

Familiarity with DevOps and/or automated testing
