Description of job assignments:

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Stockholm is looking for a Translator.

Work description:
· Translate documents from Swedish into English and from English into Swedish.
· Collect information on Sri Lanka in printed and electronic media and process them as required.
· Closely follow the media from the Embassy's accredited countries and summarize important events into monthly reports.
· Assist the Ambassador and the relevant Diplomatic Officers in preparing trade and political reports
· Coordinate official work with Swedish authorities.

Description of qualifications:

Minimum qualifications required:

· The candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree.
· The candidate should have good IT-skills and must have an excellent command of English and Swedish.
· Danish and Baltic language skills are an added advantage.
· Work experience in translating from Swedish/English and English/Swedish is necessary.
· The candidate should also be service minded, flexible and be prepared to work in a multicultural environment.
