About the role
As Senior Cloud & Data Platform Architect, you shape and operate Qbtech's cloud and data platforms. The Platform Team drives security engineering, infrastructure quality, and reusable patterns that enable product and data teams to deliver quickly and safely. Your scope covers platform governance, runtime hosting, data engineering infrastructure, and internal integration platforms - including ownership of networking, deployment architecture, DNS, and identity and access management. You combine hands-on engineering with architectural leadership to design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient systems supporting AI/ML and analytics workloads. Success in this role comes from broad technical understanding, adaptability, and a drive to simplify and evolve Qbtech's platform. The role has a hybrid office set-up; at least 3 days in the office in Stockholm.
Essential Duties and responsibilities

Lead the design and evolution of cloud governance, security frameworks, and best practices.


Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure modules, blueprints, and playbooks using Infrastructure as Code.


Architect AWS solutions for hosting, networking, data, and integration - serverless-first and well-architected by design.


Design and evolve Qbtech's data platform across ingestion, processing, and serving layers (e.g. Iceberg, Glue, Athena, Python and Java pipelines).


Ensure the platform supports scalable AI/ML and analytics workloads.


Build internal integration services using event-driven patterns.


Collaborate with engineering, data, and analytics teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.


Promote cloud, data, and security best practices through documentation, reviews, and mentoring.


Participate in shared on-call responsibilities for core platform services.

About the role

As a Senior Test and Verification Engineer, you will join a cross-functional team using agile methodology to develop medical software applications. You’ll drive quality assurance through testing and verification, collaborating with back-end developers and product owners. Your work will support continuous integration, ensuring our products meet requirements and design standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review system and software requirements.
Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for web-based applications.
Build automation test suites for frontend web applications.
Perform test planning and support release activities.
Create and maintain test artifacts, such as specifications and reports.
Write clear problem reports to identify root causes and help prioritize fixes.
Documentation - such as test reports, and formal reports that require signatures.

Who are you?

About the role

A Senior Software Engineer (web) works in our product engineering team with Javascript web app development.

The main focus of the work is coding (development) but a Senior Software Engineer works with the entire software delivery lifecycle (see duties and responsibilities below).

Essential Duties and responsibilities

1. Contribute to, define and document new product features & technical requirements. Develop code that delivers the functionality based on requirements and mitigations.

2. Bug fixing and Code reviews for peers

4. Maintain and improve legacy code

5. App provisioning (software deployment, CICD pipeline management, etc.)

6. Provide technical expertise to support problem-solving and troubleshooting.

Summary of Position

A Senior Software Engineer (SSE) for backend works in our product engineering team with systems / services development for the Qbtech platform.
The primary implementation languages are Java & Kotlin. The main focus of the work is coding (development) but an SSE works with the entire software delivery lifecycle (see duties and responsibilities below).
