We are looking for backend software engineers to join Nordnet's Engineering department. We are currently organized in 4 domains – Foundation, Discover, Execution and Platform, defined in line with the services we provide for our customers. Nordnet Tech is divided into development and operations with development consisting of a number of independent product oriented teams. The continuous delivery (CD) team was formed to focus on delivering the next generation CI/CD tooling, supporting both development and infrastructure teams in delivering quality at velocity in a highly regulated industry. The CD team is responsible for defining and delivering state of the art development pipelines in line with industry best practices. Their expertise spans both technical and runtime design and their opinions are sought in architectural design.

The Role

We are already deploying high performance mission critical code in production during trading hours, and you will help us bring it to the next level. You will develop, integrate and maintain components for our delivery pipelines by continuously improving the delivery process and deployment design, in cooperation with the development and infrastructure teams. This will include setting up robust development environments and pipelines to achieve fast repeatable builds. The role comes with the possibility and responsibility of owning initiatives from start to finish – helping to provision, plan and maintain the current and future technical architecture to scale with the growing traffic needs of the company.

Your background
We believe you will have extensive experience in continuous delivery, continuous integration and related tools. You have a natural passion for technology and you will use sound judgement to pick the best tools for the job and consequently this will necessitate you to have the ability to quickly pick up new things. You have a BSc/MSc degree in Computing / Engineering or equivalent. You are comfortable with agile methods (Scrum & Kanban) and working in Linux environments. Previous experience and interest in finance is a plus but not mandatory.

You are well-founded in the majority of the following:

• Continuous Delivery/DevOps way of working
• CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins and Spinnaker
• Source code management, such as Git
• Strong development experience in at least 2 languages
• Running container technologies in production, using orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
• Experience with at least one cloud provider
• Build tools, such as Maven, Gradle, NPM/Yarn

This is you

We are looking for you who have five years of experience as a project manager. You should have experience in working with larger, more complex projects which involved many teams with different focus areas. It’s a benefit to have a technical background since you will be working closely with our development teams to help them out in the projects. It’s a merit if you have worked with compliance, legal, risk and other controlling functions.

As a person you are pragmatic and focus on ensuring things gets done by finding solutions or workarounds to the problems. You are used to working with many different types of people and know how to adjust your approach depending on the different personalities you work with. You are comfortable arguing and driving changes that are necessary in order to succeed with the project. You enjoy working independently and plan your own work based on the tasks that needs to be resolved with little direction.

Customer Operations och din roll:

Som administratör på Customer Operations arbetar du med olika administrativa uppgifter som kräver noggrannhet men också analytiska egenskaper. Du och dina kollegor roterar mellan alla ansvarsområden så att du bygger upp en bred kompetens och kan bidra där behovet är som störst.

Customer Operations ansvarar för att administrera kundlivscykeln som är en mycket viktigt kugge i Nordnets affär. Vi jobbar bland annat med öppna konton (så att våra kunder kan komma igång med sitt sparande), hantera konton och uppdatera kunddata (så att vi uppfyller våra krav som finansiellt institut), samt att avsluta konton och hantera exempelvis dödsbon och konkursförfaranden. Dessutom jobbar vi mycket med AML (Anti Money Laundry) och skattrelaterade frågor för att säkerställa exakt kunddata och hantera korrekta registreringar i systemen.

Vi har många kontaktytor och samarbeten i bolaget, bland annat andra back office-avdelningar, IT för att bygga automatiserade processer samt frågor från kundsupporten och säljare mm som gör att vi bygger ett stort kontaktnät och förståelse för många delar av bolaget.

Din bakgrund

• Du har troligen en pågående akademisk utbildning inom ekonomi/finans eller motsvarande.

This is you

In brief

The Discover domain at Nordnet is responsible for developing, maintaining and designing products showing exchanges/market related content to the customer – such as instrument data and real time prices. We also provide guidance tools and content like key figures, company information, investment guides, screeners and graphs. As Scrum Master you will work together with the team, the Product Owner and the Engineering Manager in order to ensure that the needs are catered for. Som Chief Security Officer på rapporterar du direkt till CTO och arbetar nära enheterna Styrelse, Legal, Risk och Compliance.

Beskrivning

Just nu söker vi en medarbetare till gruppen Payments Operations som idag består av 10 personer. Gruppen ansvarar för att hantera kunders insättningar och uttag, utföra interna betalningar/likvidflyttar, likvidprognoser samt genomföra dagliga avstämningar av likvidkonton. Du ansvarar för att betalningar hanteras med hög kvalitét och enligt uppsatta servicenivåer.

Dina arbetsuppgifter

Det dagliga arbetet innebär bland annat att:

• hantera våra kunders insättningar och uttag av likvid
• utföra daglig likvidavstämning av konton
• utföra betalningar på uppdrag av Treasury och andra interna avdelningar
• säkerställa täckning på bankkonton av automatiska betalningsflöden
• hantera ärenden/frågor från kundservice
• utföra betalningar i samband med bolån
• delta i uppgradering, tester och förbättringar av system

I arbetet har vi löpande kontakt per telefon och via mail med interna och externa kunder och distributörer vilket ställer krav på att du är serviceinriktad samt lösningsorienterad. Flera av våra motparter är utländska varav god kommunikation på engelska är en förutsättning. Din bakgrund

Gruppen har ett brett ansvarsområde som inkluderar bl. a Clearing & Settlement, värdepapperslån och fondadministration på de marknader som Nordnet erbjuder sina kunder via webb- eller telefonhandel. Du hanterar även flyttar som gäller inhemska och internationella värdepapper och fonder.

Som del av teamet kommer du hantera samtliga typer av affärer som avvecklas. Arbetet innebär daglig kontakt med såväl svenska som utländska banker, kassa- och positionsavstämningar och administration av kampanjer, courtagemodeller och värdepappersaffärer. Du följer löpande förändringar i regelverk och marknadspraxis inom ditt ansvarsområde och analyserar konsekvenser på nuvarande rutiner och anpassar dem ändamålsenligt. Utöver det dagliga arbetet driver du utvecklingsarbete av processer och flöden inom gruppen med målsättning att effektivisera och minimera operationell risk.

Vad har du för bakgrund?

För att bli framgångsrik i rollen har du sannolikt en högskoleutbildning inom ekonomi och helst ett par års erfarenhet av liknande arbete inom clearing & settlement från bankverksamhet, eller inom backoffice på kapitalförvaltning/fondbolag, alternativt inom backoffice/custody på någon av storbankerna. Vi ser gärna att du har erfarenhet från backofficesystem och har allmänt goda kunskaper i Officepaketet, främst Excel. Förutom utmärkta kunskaper i svenska bör du vara bekväm i engelska i både tal och skrift.

Det är en fördel om du har kännedom om de nordiska clearingsystemen VPS, VPC och/eller VP och har sannolikt tidigare arbetat i något av affärssystemen AbaSec eller Wizer.

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join Nordnet's Engineering department. We are currently organized in 4 domains – Foundation, Discover, Execution and Platform, defined in line with the services we provide for our customers. Nu söker vi en designer till Nordnets inhousebyrå, Creative.

Som designer på Nordnet kommer du att jobba med formgivning både i digitala medier och i print men med fokus på digitalt. Du ansvarar bl.a. för design och publicering av webbsidor i Nordnets CMS verktyg, Sitevision. Tjänsten innebär även att utveckla, formge och ta fram original inom ramen för satta koncept.

Vi på Creative är ett litet men ambitiöst team som växer. Vi jobbar idag fullt ut från idé och koncept hela vägen ut till produktion och ansvarar för Nordnets marknadsföring och reklam i interna och externa kanaler. Du arbetar nära teamets Art Director och övriga medarbetare - designers, medieproducent, copywriter m.fl. Du arbetar även självständigt mot produktionsledare och övriga beställare inom organisationen.

Du rapporterar till Head of Creative.

Vi tror att du har en bred profil men med fokus på det digitala. Du har sannolikt en relevant utbildning och har erfarenhet av att ha jobbat som designer/formgivare på byråsidan, inhouseavdelning eller motsvarande.

Vi söker dig som trivs med att arbeta i ett högt tempo och att arbeta mot flera olika kontaktytor. Du har en förståelse och intresse för marknadsföring och en självklar känsla för design. Du gillar kommunikation och håller dig uppdaterad om vad som händer inom marknadsföring. Som person är du positiv, ambitiös, kvalitetsmedveten och prestigelös.

Arbetet kräver att du talar och skriver svenska obehindrat.
