Job summary

As Packaging Engineer, you are responsible to design packaging solutions in line with customer needs, following Nefab's Engineering Directive, which provides a clear framework for the job.

Main responsibilities

• Design packaging solutions while utilizing Nefab products and/or sourced materials
• Assist with providing packaging technical expertise
• Assess structural requirements, method of transport, long term storage and other specifications
• Assist with packaging evaluations and designs of other engineers or designers
• Assist with the gathering of sufficient information to enable drawings

This person will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our production and supply chain processes. Based at our headquarters, you will work closely with senior leadership and have the chance to lead strategic initiatives like the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) process as well as supporting the global rollout of our ERP (M3) system. Your main areas of responsibility as Planning Manager:

· Production and Procurement Planning: Develop and optimize our E2E supply chain process including production, procurement, and inventory plans to ensure a smooth flow of materials and components. Focus on maximizing material utilization and reducing lead times.

· Operational Optimization: Improve operational efficiency by optimizing processes for make-to-order (MTO) assembly and overall production flow. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to boost productivity.

· S&OP; Implementation: Lead the introduction and continuous development of the Sales & Operations Planning and Execution processes, aligning demand, supply, and production capacities with business goals.

· ERP (M3) Implementation: Play a critical role in the ERP (M3) system rollout, focusing on end-to-end planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish planning templates, ensure data accuracy, and facilitate seamless system integration.

· Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, production sites in all of our regions, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on planning activities and support the company’s overall objectives.

Qualifications and experience:
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, along with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in production planning, supply chain management, or a similar role. Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is highly desirable. Proficiency in using ERP systems is expected, with knowledge of M3 being a significant advantage. A strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities are essential for success in this role, as is familiarity with planning and scheduling tools.

Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean principles, will be considered a plus, as will the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital, as the role involves collaboration with stakeholders across various functions and levels of the organization.

The candidate should ideally have prior experience in ERP implementation or optimization projects. A strong understanding of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) processes and best practices is also beneficial. Additionally, the ability to manage complex projects while balancing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment will be key to succeeding in this role.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required for this position. Swedish language skills are a plus but not mandatory.

Personal characteristics:
The person needs to be a bit visionary and independent to fit in. The level of ambition and independence is high, but the business climate is welcoming and good. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also vital, as the role involves collaboration with stakeholders across various functions and levels of the organization.

JOB SUMMARY

Working with the Head of Corporate Quality, the Global Quality Coordinator is responsible for participating in developing the Corporate Quality and Environmental Management Systems, including deploying, and implementing different processes and routines locally and globally.

The role will require worldwide travel on a regular basis.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in developing and maintaining corporate documents related to Quality and Environmental Management, Business Continuity Management, and the Code of Conduct (CoC).
• Participate in implementing corporate processes at both sites and globally. Identify areas for process improvement to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency in delivering quality outcomes.
• Provide continual support to the local sites to ensure the successful and accurate implementation and maintenance of the QMS, EMS, and Code of Conduct.
• Support local sites and sales to prepare for Customer Audits and pass them successfully.
• Provide support to local sites to interpret and understand applicable environmental regulations.
• Provide support to different regions and sites, as required, to effectively address and resolve customer complaints.
• Perform Internal Audits as requested by the Audit Plan (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, CoC).
• Perform Audits of Suppliers.
• Keep track of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure companies take the necessary actions when targets are unmet. Track KPIs and ensure that companies act when targets are unmet.
• Provide training to employees on quality and environmental standards, Business Continuity Management, Risk Assessment and Code of Conduct, and best practices to ensure adherence to guidelines.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through innovation, collaboration, and cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.

Your profile

You have few years of experience working in a Quality role on a global level, with good experience from working with ISO 9001 and 14001. It is good if you have knowledge also about ISO 45001 and Code of Conduct (eg RBA or similar).

You are used to work with tools, such as 8D reports, 5 Why analysis, Fishbone diagrams, Pareto analysis, PFMEA/FMEA etc.

You have a university degree or College Diploma in quality or equivalent experience/education, and you are trained as internal auditor for ISO 9001 and 14001.

Experience from working globally with manufacturing companies is a merit.

You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.

As a person you possess strong communication, organization and time management skills. You are analytical and like to work in a team.

Nefab intends to invest in several implementation teams across three regions (Europe, Americas, and Asia) to bridge the relationship between the central ERP-team and the local companies. You will introduce the new platform to the companies and then be part of the implementation. This includes, but is not limited to;

• Presenting/demonstrating the platform and its solutions
• Lead and facilítate workshops and trainings
• Secure accurate data transfer from legacy system to the new ERP Platform
• Document deviations/gaps and present to the central ERP team
• Execute testing to secure local needs are met with central solution
• Be the group representative on site
• Be part of the change management process

You will be part of the Group Business Applications ERP team, which is responsible for the ERP maintenance and development of business processes in the ERP platform.
