The Political and Economic Department of the Danish Embassy is looking for a new colleague in the position as Political Adviser. The Political and Economic Department represents Danish interests on a broad range of topics defined by current developments on key domestic, EU and foreign and security policy issues in Sweden. As Political Adviser you will be responsible for a wide range of policy areas in the department.

Main tasks and responsibilities

The position

Ambassadens handelsafdeling assisterer bl.a. danske virksomheder med at tilpasse forretningsmodellen, identificere markedsmuligheder i Sverige, understøtte internationaliseringsindsatsen m.m. Vi arbejder med store virksomheder med stor internationaliseringserfaring såvel som små- og mellemstore (SMV) virksomheder, hvor Sverige ofte er første eksportmarked.

Som eksportrådgiver fremmer du dansk eksport ved at rådgive danske virksomheder og organisationer om internationaliseringsmulighederne i Sverige, analysere deres markedsmuligheder, arrangere seminarer, delegationsture og andre events. Du skal kunne sætte dig ind i den enkelte virksomheds behov, og skabe højest mulig værdi for den enkelte virksomhed. Du er samtidig med til at opbygge alliancer mellem danske og svenske aktører, identificere nye muligheder og opdyrke markedsmuligheder for virksomhederne.
Handelsteamet på ambassaden består af en udsendt handelschef, en digitaliseringsdiplomat, specialiserede sektorrådgivere, og to praktikanter. Afdelingen indgår i samarbejdet med Norden og Baltikum, hvorfor der arbejdes regionalt. Det forventes derfor også, at du kan indgå i tværgående samarbejder med kollegaer i hele regionen.

Arbejdssted

Arbetsbeskrivning
Denna roll passar dig som tycker om att lösa problem, vill jobba brett med många kontakter och ta eget ansvar. Som fastighetsskötare ansvarar du för daglig drift och administration av ambassadens historiska fastigheter centralt placerat vid Operan i Stockholm. Du klarar av enklare underhåll av ambassadens tekniska installationer och inventarier och du sköter kontakten med externa hantverkare vid större eller mer krävande arbeten. Du underhåller även listor över ambassadens inventarier; både i kansliet och i ambassadörens residens.

Som fastighetsskötare sköter du även kontakten med en del av ambassadens leverantörer och du ser till att leveranser tas emot och kontrolleras samt är ansvarig för återvinningen i huset. Du ser även till att hämta och fördela post, underhålla kontorsmaskiner och förbereda konferensrummet inför möten (inklusive uppställning av möbler i olika formationer). I arbetsuppgifterna ingår även att bemanna ambassadens reception i vissa perioder samt besvara inkommande telefonsamtal.

Du har god administrativ förmåga med kunskaper i Office-paketet samt grundläggande ekonomikunskaper och förståelse för avtalshantering.

I din roll som chaufför ansvarar du för att ambassadens två bilar underhålls regelbundet och har även ansvar för körningar av ambassadören och besökande ministrar från Danmark.

Kvalifikationer
Du har minst fyra års erfarenhet av likande arbete. B-körkort är ett krav och det är meriterande om du har chaufförserfarenhet. Du är van att använda Microsoft Office-paketet.

Som person motiveras du av att leverera bra service och du har goda sociala egenskaper och kommunicerar tydligt i tal och skrift samt har ett högt säkerhetsmedvetande. Du behöver vara flytande i antingen svenska och/eller danska. Du tar initiativ och ansvar och arbetar effektivt både på egen hand och i team med kollegor.

I tjänsten förväntas det att du vid vissa tillfällen arbetar utanför ordinarie arbetstider.

Do you want to contribute to strengthening Danish-Swedish relations in the water industry? Do you have technical expertise from working in the water/wastewater industry and/or do you have insights into strategies and processes of water utilities/wastewater treatment plants? The Trade Council of Denmark's Water Technology Advisory team in Sweden is looking for a dynamic and motivated Technical Advisor to support Danish water companies in their export endeavours in Sweden.

As the Technical Advisor, you will play a crucial role in facilitating collaboration and identifying specific export opportunities in the Swedish market. Based at the Embassy of Denmark in Stockholm, you will become part of a sector-dedicated team, Water Technology Advisory (WTA) EU, which sets out to strengthen cooperation with authorities, water utilities and wastewater treatment plants, and other key stakeholders in the Swedish water market, and other select European markets. You will maintain a wide-ranging network by engaging in technical dialogue with water professionals about challenges and upcoming projects, acquiring knowledge about existing water technologies in the market, and identifying market export opportunities for Danish water technology companies' technologies and services.

You will be responsible for driving cooperation with water utilities and wastewater treatment plants in Sweden, planning and conducting market activities with a focus on technological and knowledge exchange, and contributing with in-depth technical understanding to support the Danish water companies. You will be a part of the WTA EU, which beyond Sweden also have dedicated advisors in Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Spain.

You are also expected to participate in and contribute in conjunction with the Embassy in Stockholm's other staff to office-wide activities.

Key Responsibilities:

. Engage with municipal water utilities and wastewater treatment plants in Sweden to identify potential collaboration possibilities and export opportunities for Danish water companies. This is done in collaboration with Trade Advisors from the Trade Department at the Embassy that have pre-existing collaboration and network.
. Serve as the point of contact for Swedish utilities and wastewater treatment plants, offering technical expertise and guidance to facilitate successful business relationships.
. Maintain close dialogue with and provide market and technical insights to Danish water companies partnering with the WTA EU to build and expand their export to Sweden. This, in coordination with Trade Advisors at the Embassy's Trade Department.
. Plan, strategize, and execute market activities such as technical workshops and delegation trips to Denmark for Swedish water professionals.
. Stay updated on the latest developments and trends in Swedish water management. MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF DENMARK

Qualifications:

. Working experience from the water sector, e.g. from wastewater treatment plant, water utility, engineering company specializing in wastewater operations/water management, or similar.
. Knowledge of the Swedish water and/or wastewater market is highly desirable.
. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with both Danish and Swedish stakeholders.
. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
. Fluent in English. Either Swedish, Norwegian or Danish language skills are also a requirement.
. Willingness to travel within Sweden and occasionally to Denmark.

Terms of employment

Place of work
You will be hired at The Trade Council in Sweden, be part of the embassy staff and report directly to the Head of Trade at the embassy. In your daily work, you will report to the Head of Trade.

Arbetsbeskrivning
Denna roll passar dig som är händig, lösningsorienterad och vill arbeta operativt med stort eget ansvar och driv. Som vaktmästare ansvarar du för att allt fungerar i den dagliga driften i Danmarks Hus, som består av ambassaden och två residens. Du klarar självständigt av enklare underhåll och reparationer av ambassadens tekniska installationer och inventarier samt nyinstallationer. Vid större eller mer krävande arbeten sköter du kontakten med externa hantverkare. I din roll som vaktmästare är du kontaktyta mot en del av ambassadens leverantörer, beställer kontorsmaterial, underhåller kontorsmaskiner, hämtar och fördelar post. Inför möten och events på ambassaden och i residensen du ansvarig för att rummen är rätt möblerade i olika formationer.

I din roll som chaufför ansvar du för att ambassadens två bilar underhålls regelbundet, liksom att köra ambassadören och besökande delegationer/ministrar från Danmark.

Arbetsfördelningen har en tyngdpunkt på händigt arbete och kontorsservice.

Kvalifikationer
Du har minst några års erfarenhet av likande arbete. B-körkort är ett krav och det är starkt meriterande om du har chaufförserfarenhet. Du är van användare av Microsoft Office-paketet.
Du talar ett skandinaviskt språk och gärna engelska.

Som person motiveras du av att leverera bra service och du har goda sociala egenskaper och en tydlig kommunikation. Du är van att arbeta i team samt att ta eget ansvar och arbeta mot gemensamma mål. Du ser möjligheter och välkomnar arbeten där du får arbeta praktiskt och operativt, högt som lågt.

Villkor
Ambassaden erbjuder en heltidstjänst, 37 tim/v inklusive 30 minuters lunch, på lokala villkor för anställda på Danmarks ambassad. Tjänsten avlönas enligt kvalifikationer och ambassaden betalar tjänstepension. Rollen kräver viss mån av oregelbunden arbetstid, viss arbetstid kan förläggas till helg eller kväll, ambassaden tillämpar flextid.
