As finance manager at Svenska Invest, you have overall responsibility for the company's VAT reporting, employer tax reporting, annual reports, and current accounting.
You will mainly support the VD, but also and salary administrator and legal counsel in occasional share transfer operations and asset transfers, etc. Thorough understanding of Swedish accounting laws and regulations around reporting is a must have. In addition to experience with Fortnox.
We do our VAT reporting quarterly and you will report the company's finances at board meetings. You are a support to the VD and principals in budgeting, forecasts and monthly follow-up.


The work as finance manager includes, among other things;
Current accounting
Invoicing of clients
Control of taxes/fees
Creation of budget templates as well as budget/forecast follow-up, reconciliations and accruals
Analysis work
Preparation of annual accounts
Contact person for the auditor
Preparation of annual report according to K2
Creation of Income Declaration
Carry out internal control for the group
Involved in contract processes
Various administrative tasks



Qualifications and experience;
We are looking for you with a degree in economics or equivalent. You have at least 3 years of experience, preferably more, in accounting and/or controlling. Either you are the finance manager today or this is your next step. We see that you are self-motivated, analytical and have good skills in Excel, Visma and FORTNOX.
You have the ability to see the big picture and know when it is necessary to go into detail. You are responsible, confident in your professional role and can adapt your approach to the situation. Role Specifics
We are looking for a team member to join an existing QA team to contribute to guaranteeing our payment service products are built to perfection.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Reviews design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the software product.
Identifies appropriate parameters, functions, and data to test and validate; parameters may include general function, validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
Conducts testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines.
Identifies, logs, and recreates error codes, bugs, and defects.
When a product does not perform within specifications, reports defects to programmers while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and updates.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of software and database testing including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored jobs, and error replication.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to create test plans and cases from specifications or verbal communications.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Accountant
We are looking for a competent Accountant to support our growing team and play an important role in the day-to-day accounting needs of the business. You will manage the monthly financial reporting requirements and complete all necessary reporting processes.
Key responsibilities include:
Create timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and manage overall maintenance of all operational accounts.
Have responsibility for the preparation of monthly financial reports including the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statements for the business.
Oversee and control our payroll account on Fortnox and document all vacation, sick and annual leave time taken by staff.
Preparation and submission of VAT and other statutory tax declarations while ensuring these are reflected in Fortnox correctly.
Assist the Accounts Payable function and ensure payments are made to our vendors in a timely manner.
Assist the Accounts Receivable function to ensure the invoices are created in line with all monthly services currently being sold to our Clients.
Posting of daily bank transactions to Fortnox and performing weekly bank reconciliations.
Preparing, reconciling, and posting employee expenses and ensuring that we have the relevant supporting documents for each transaction.
Ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards and their accounting recommendations.
Skills & Requirements:
Knowledge of how to do payroll and VAT declaration in Sweden is a must.
Minimum of 1-3 years work experience as an accounting or a similar role.
Degree in accounting, business accounting, finance or similar.

Able to work well with others in a team environment
Highly accurate and detail oriented
Our business language is generally English. Swedish is a highly preferred plus, and some Swedish knowledge will absolutely be needed in regards to the local reporting requirements and in communications with Skatteverket.

We are looking for a graduate student or recent post-graduate to do CRISPR research with the intention of evaluating and eventually designing commercial technologies enabling the therapeutic delivery of genome editing enzymes for an array of genetic disorders and immunization against infections.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience within the biochemistry of protein, RNA, and ideally ribonucleoprotein (RNP) complexes. Familiarity with assay development is a huge plus.
Degree in related field such as biochemistry, molecular biology, cellular biology, or genetics.
