About the assignment:
As a Product Developer, you will be responsible for the entire product development process – from concept to finished product. You will work closely with suppliers, designers and internal stakeholders to ensure products meet quality standards and are delivered according to timeline.
The role is highly operational and requires strong coordination skills, technical understanding and the ability to manage multiple development tracks in parallel.
Responsibilities:
Sample management: Drive the development process from prototype to pre-production, including quality checks and follow-up
Supplier coordination: Act as the main point of contact towards factories, managing feedback on samples, packaging and labelling requirements
Product development collaboration: Work closely with design and internal teams to balance function, quality and commercial requirements
Technical documentation: Create and maintain tech packs, specifications and sketches for production
Materials & testing: Ensure materials and components meet quality and performance standards
Timeline management: Coordinate development according to Time & Action plans to secure on-time delivery

We are looking for someone who:
Has solid experience in product development within apparel or technical products, with a good understanding of the full production cycle – from idea to finished product. You are comfortable working with suppliers, handling samples and ensuring quality throughout the process.
You are used to working in a structured way, managing several products and timelines at the same time, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders. You take ownership of your work and are comfortable driving processes forward in a dynamic environment.
Requirements & qualifications:
Education or equivalent experience within product development, textile engineering or a related field
Strong communication skills in English (Swedish is a plus)
Basic skills in Adobe Illustrator and common office tools
Experience working with technical documentation and quality control
Experience from apparel, PPE or similar product categories is considered a strong merit

Location & scope:

About the team

This position works closely and reports to Senior Product Manager and Head of RTW. 

Tasks will include, but not be limited to:


• Fulfill the design team's needs by sourcing material and ensuring the highest possible standard of make while achieving target prices.
• Follow development critical path from initial design through to shipping SMS within the allocated delivery window, and until the launch of the pre-production samples.
• Attend, lead and take notes in development and production fittings, proactively provide focused input on quality and fit to ensure a smooth production process.
• Create supplier quotes, evaluate prices, and give input based on comparable styles for the manager to analyze. 
• Responsible for communication and building relationships with suppliers.
• Travel to suppliers to ensure a smooth and timely development process.
• Maintain close collaboration with design, fabric, and pattern teams.
• Responsible for accurate product and timely delivery of sampling.
• Propose Senior PM styles allocations between factories to ensure the highest possible standard of make while achieving target CMT and FOB prices.
• Responsible for the product data input and continuous updates in internal system PLM.

Desired qualifications:


• Academic degree, from business school and/or textile education.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a product development role preferably from high-end fashion brands.
• Highly proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite.
• Knowledge of PLM would be a plus.
• An action-oriented attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision making.
• Excellent verbal and written English, communication & time management skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships both internally and with suppliers.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.

Dina arbetsuppgifter

• Du kommer att koordinera, driva och implementera kvalitets- och hållbarhetsprojekt tvärfunktionellt
• Du kommer att tillsammans med inköp och produktion arbeta med produktsäkerhet
• Du ansvarar för att produktinformationen i våra system följer aktuella lagar och regelverk
• Du utvärderar och implementerar krav för nya produkter samt uppdaterar våra processer och manualer
• Du stöttar marknadsavdelningen med kvalitets- och hållbarhetskommunikation i våra butiker och digitalt
• Du ger riktlinjer och kriterier för hur vi kommunicerar hållbarhet kopplat till olika certifieringar
• Du arbetar med uppföljning av våra mål och KPIer
• Du ansvarar för att uppdatera vår Care Labels

 

Kompetens och erfarenhet:

 


• Du har akademisk bakgrund, gärna inom textil
• Du har minst 2 års arbetslivserfarenhet från en liknande tjänst inom heminredninge och/eller mode
• Du har erfarenhet av att koordinera och driva projekt samt arbeta tvärfunktionellt
• Du är prestigelös, samarbetar och kommunicerar lätt med dina kollegor
• Du är driven med hög ambitionsnivå och arbetar resultatinriktat
• Du är strukturerad, analytisk och noggrann
• Du har en stark egen inre motor
• Du behärskar engelska i tal och skrift
