Liaise with the team, consultant team and Contractors to establish, review and regularly update the register.
Agree and monitor Risk Mitigation Plans and provide input into quantitative risk analysis review
Liaise with the team and establish a structure and procedure for quality management.
Check the safety policy and processes prepared by the Contractor. Prepare recommendations/ comments.
Lead the implementation of all key project processes and monitor these processes, reporting and making recommendations to the client team
Set up, chair and minute project closeout, campus co-ordination and meeting ensuring that team is fully informed
Take regular site walks to promote and observe safety and progress, report and track any corrective actions through to timely completion
Assist in the review and assessment of proposed variations in the works and of any actual or anticipated delays to the progress of the works

Qualifications:
5 years’ experience in Data Center facility maintenance, operation and/or commissioning
7+ years Project Management experience specifically with a background delivering best in class large scale mission critical projects and have a detailed knowledge of Data Centre pre-construction, build to and handover/ commissioning as well as post turn over processes
A Bachelor’ degree in engineering or a related field is considered beneficial for the role
Proficiency with a variety of related computer software applications including MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Project, Word) is required.
Experience and proficiency with online document management applications is a strong plus

Job Description
The Planner / Scheduler is responsible for advanced planning, scheduling, progress measurement, change management implementation and analysis that may involve a major project or several smaller projects. A thorough understanding is required of policies, methods, and procedures that includes advanced Planning and Scheduling techniques, Risk Analysis, Risk Management, and support of project objectives.
Implement Project Planning/Scheduling strategy, plans and procedures, reflecting both Company and contractor roles, responsibilities and expectations.
Coordinate the development and implementation of project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) in conjunction with Project Lead, Project Cost Engineer and Contractor project controls leads, and in conjunction with Project Execution Plans.
Preparing Staffing, Engineering, Construction progress and customized reports.
Perform probabilistic analysis on integrated schedules and contractor schedules.
Conduct the required project schedule analysis, critical path analysis and schedule risk analysis for the project as a whole.
Analyze deviations from the baseline in the Project Master schedule highlighting bottlenecks / delays and propose corrective actions.
Prepare the Integrated Planning / Scheduling contribution to the Monthly Project Report and specific reports / presentations.
Analyze and highlight the overall schedule impact of any variance / change order.
Prepare resourcing plans for the overall and individual project phases, identifying any excessive peak numbers and making recommendations for peak leveling.

Qualifications
Expertise in project controls and time/schedule management is required preferably within the Life Sciences / Pharma or associated sectors.
Expert experience level using project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera P6), Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Experience in coordinating multiple sources of schedule performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project status reports required for large scale projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Develops good working relationships with project team

Key Accountabilities
Embed a robust breakdown structure, integrating the data from each of the controls functions.
Coordinate and lead estimating sessions to reach an agreed, market tested cost baseline with a focus on value for money and budget realism.
Coordinate and lead planning sessions and workshops to compile the master project/programme schedule baseline, ensuring an achievable duration.

Stakeholder management ensuring all key stakeholders sign off the baseline and have visibility of regular progress updates.

Guide and influence the principal contractor and client, working with them to drive delivery and achieve schedule and cash flow KPI’s.
Control costs with your knowledge of conceptual estimating, funding stage gates, basic contingency principals, procurement principals.
Control the master program applying quality checks to updates from the client and principal contractor.
Lead the change management process and work flow, providing a platform for adding/ tracking/ monitoring/ approving change in a timely fashion.
Identify trends and root causes of deviations against the baseline using lead and lag indicators, reporting effectively any remedial actions in order to drive best value for the client.

Prepare written comments to the general contractor’s submissions, including the executive summary. Coordinate all sources of cost information for cost discussions.
Inform and drive engineering priorities based on cost impact.
Provide estimate and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
Work proactively with minimal supervision to resolve scheduling issues.
Manage cost checks and carry out valuations on larger projects. Complete timely, accurate cost checking and valuation processes.
Participate effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes.
Manage Cost impact / contingency management and commitment tracking logs.
Prepare funding data presentations and coordinate VE sessions with stakeholders.

Job Description
The Planner/ Scheduler function includes advanced planning, scheduling, progress measurement,

Primary responsibilities include:

Required qualifications:

Skills Required


At least 5 years’ experience in project controls coordination in all phases of the project lifecycle including program, risk and reporting with at least 3 years specialist sector experience.
At least 3 years as Manager on large complex construction projects ideally in the Pharma sector.
Demonstrated experience in the ability to determine corrective actions or recommendations based on facts and figures and critically evaluating information and data from various sources.

Actively participate in project team risk evaluations, incorporating the defined risks into monte carlo to output quantitative impacts to the overall project cost and schedule.
Work closely with the project team to stay informed on status of project changes, incorporating and communicating these to the project team to allow for approvals in the change management process.
Hold vendors accountable for required schedule updates and reporting to maintain timely and accurate updates of the master schedule ensuring that the schedules adhere to the defined process and quality expectations.

Qualifications
Degree or equivalent in Cost Management / Quantity Surveying
Chartered with the RICS, or equivalent
Proven experience in cost management in all phases of the project lifecycle
Specialist life sciences or data centre sector experience.
Strong measurement and cost planning expertise
JCT / NEC / FIDIC experience
Commercially astute with good negotiation skills
Excellent people person and great communicator, both internal and external

Strong expertise with project life cycle cost on various stages – due diligence, cost planning, value engineering, tendering for professional services and construction, procurement, contract and claim management is a must.
Proven leadership in line manager roles, project management, business development is preferred.
A recognized degree qualification (e.g. RICS)
Relevant work experience in cost management, ideally in the Swedish construction industry

The candidate should have a demonstrable base knowledge of construction preferably in a Swedish environment and have an interest to work in a consulting environment with both local and in international clients. The role will include but not be limited to; cost report support, contract administration, reconciliation of time vs cost analysis, cash flow and change management.
English is a requirement for the role and Swedish will be an advantage.

Personen ska ha en gedigen baskunskap om kalkylering och byggprocessen enligt svensk standard samt vilja arbeta i en konsultmiljö med både lokala och internationella kunder där man ska kunna arbeta i ett högt tempo och ha ett lösningsorienterande tänk är ett måste. Rollen kommer att vara bred och omfattas av tjänster i bland annat tidigt stadie av projektet, såsom kalkylering av detaljerade kostnadskalkyler och budgetarbeten vid investering samt upphandling och kommersiell förvaltning och rapportering i pågående projekt. Job Objectives
Establish and implement the project controls process and system, including:
- Establish up to date reporting standards.
- Establish project baseline documentation.
- Lead the development of cost management, planning and progress monitoring procedures.
- Provide project management support in the development of the work breakdown structure, activities, logic, resources and progress of the integrated project schedule, i.e. baseline.
- Apply probabilistic techniques to determine and communicate the possible range of cost and schedule outcomes for the project.
- Review scope change requests for the total installed cost & schedule impact.
- Identify, implement and maintain the complete controls structure, tools and procedures needed for the program based on the contracting strategy, execution plan and the risks identified for different projects.
- Provide strategic guidance to the program controls team consistent with the different project’s execution strategy.
- Review of compliance with the agreed project controls processes.
- Review of monthly reporting and progress statements.


Skills Required
- At least 10 years professional experience working on very large and complex construction Hi-Tech projects such as Pharma or Data Centers.
- Ability to lead, manage, build capacity and coach a team to ensure delivery of projects.
- Advanced skills in MS Office and Primavera P6
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent service.
- Reliable with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills, quick thinking and ability to meet project deadlines as necessary.
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients and have the ability to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written English is required
