The successful candidate will join our application team and take responsibility for the chemistry related aspects of Single Technologies’ proprietary 3-D sequencing system. An ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with experience of both chemical characterization and synthesis. You will work in a truly international and multidisciplinary team consisting of molecular biologists, physicists, and engineers. Within our slim organization you will work with many aspects of product development and have great impact on the decision process.
Responsibilities
· Assist material scientists with the physio-chemical characterization of biocompatible polymers (e.g., hydrogels)
· Identify, understand, and resolve potential failure modes at early stages of the product development process, and provide technical input and strategies to progress
· Investigate optimal conditions for DNA polymerization, under different conditions and environments by various characterization tools
· Provide guidance and specifications to the design of manufacturing process of polymers, modified nucleotides, and enzymes and conditions for material handling, storage, and transportation
· Contribute to product development decisions through effectively working within multidisciplinary teams to solve problems and devise experimental plans
· Conduct concise communication of experimental design, results, and conclusions at regular data-driven product development meetings
· Follow good laboratory practices, including accurate documentation of experiments

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
We seek candidates with in-depth knowledge and expertise in organic chemistry, biochemistry or polymer chemistry, a goal-oriented mind-set, and systematic problem-solving skills. Required
· PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or similar with a focus on polymers or biopolymers
· Knowledge and experience in organic synthesis and characterization
· 1+ years of hands-on industrial or academic experience
· Experience and interest in working in a lab environment
· Hands-on knowledge of analytical tools for chemical and biological assays (SEM, AFM, UV-Vis, rheology, HPLC, DLS, fluorescence microscopy, etc.)
· Analytical, organized, and adaptable self-starter with excellent communication skills
· Desire to be part of a rapidly evolving multi-disciplinary organization, which requires real-time communication, flexibility, and a willingness to learn new knowledge and techniques
Preferred
· Knowledge and experience of biological macromolecules, such as nucleic acids and proteins
· Acquaintance with DNA sequencing technologies (NGS)
· Knowledge in bioconjugation and acquaintance with Staudinger reactions

Företaget sitter centralt i Stockholm i gamla industrilokaler där vår forskar-verksamhet utförs på två våningsplan. Det ena har vi vårt Laboratorium och kontorslandskap och på övre planet har vi konferensrum, lunchrum och en verkstad.
Arbetsuppgifter
I rollen som Office Manager har du en mycket värdefull roll i organisationen där du får möjlighet att arbeta med varierade arbetsuppgifter. Du ansvarar bland annat för lönehanteringen, on-/off boarding av anställda och konsulter, sköta inköp, hanterar post och avtal samt är behjälplig vid framtagande av nya avtal, besvara telefon. Rollen innefattar mycket administrativt arbete där du bland annat hanterar beställningar, faktureringar och planerar inför möten och events, vilket handlar om allt från att sätta på kaffe, tömma/sätta på diskmaskinerna.
Du kommer i denna roll få ansvara över ett flertal uppgifter, det är mycket viktigt att du trivs i en roll där man är spindeln i nätet, arbetar självständigt och proaktivt, kan ta egna initiativ för att hitta lösningar på problem.
Vi söker dig som
Har minst 2 års arbetslivserfarenhet och utbildning inom liknande roll som Löneansvarig - Office Manager/Front desk Manager
Flytande i tal och skrift i det svenska och engelska språket. Goda kunskaper i Officepaketet, Outlook, Dropbox och Teams
För att både trivas och lyckas i rollen krävs det att du som person brinner för god service och är en ansvarsfull lagspelare med en kommunikativ förmåga. Vidare är du strukturerad och van att sätta processer för ditt arbete och trivs i en koordinerande och varierande roll där du får ta eget ansvar. Du ska även ha en hög organisations- och projektledningsförmåga då du kommer att arbeta effektivt med flera projekt samtidigt.

We are looking for a responsible and talented Research Engineer to join our team and assist the scientists to make the lab work as efficient and effective as possible. You will work with processing samples, conducting tests, recording data, and analysing results. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of lab procedures and strong attention to detail. Responsibilities
· Prepare reagents and samples for various experiments.
· Perform analysis and experiments with supervision of scientists.
· Work to continuously improve and optimize existing processes.
· Follow good laboratory practices, including accurate documentation of lab work.
· Maintain laboratory instrument and keep the workspace in order.
Requirements
· BSc or MSc in Biology, Chemistry, or similar field with 2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience (preferably in the field of molecular biology).
· Knowledge in data collection, analysis and reporting using various IT systems and applications, (i.e. Microsoft Office).
· Analytical, well-structured, and adaptable with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
· Desire to be part of a rapidly evolving multi-disciplinary organization, which requires real-time communication, flexibility, and a willingness to learn new techniques and methods.
· Experience in procurement is advantageous.
· Experience in good laboratory practice and/or quality assurance is a plus.
