The Subscription Product & Technology unit seeks to empower Schibsted’s news brands with state-of-the-art subscription capabilities through our subscription platform User Revenue Suite (URS). To strengthen our operational excellence and help our teams work smarter across the platform, we are now looking for a Platform Enablement Manager. This role sits at the heart of Subscription Product & Technology and ensures that our organisation gets the most out of URS — from project execution and processes to communication and platform transparency. You will report to Product Director Subscription, and you will work closely with both product, tech and business teams.

Main Responsibilities:

Cross-team project leadership: Lead and coordinate initiatives that span across multiple product teams and domains.

Platform oversight & expertise: Maintain a high-level overview of the URS platform. Act as an advisor to teams and stakeholders, helping them understand how to leverage URS effectively.

Platform metrics & performance: Monitor and communicate key metrics and performance indicators related to URS, gaining clarity on how the platform is performing and where opportunities lie.

Superuser of JIRA: Serve as a go-to expert for JIRA within the Subscription Product & Technology organisation and support team best practices.

Prioritisation & process facilitation: Help drive our prioritization processes and ensure follow-up routines to secure progress and maintain momentum.

Communication & storytelling: Improve how we communicate what URS is, what it enables, and how to use it well.

We are now hiring a Data Engineer to join our growing Content Data team. In this role, you'll help develop the data infrastructure that supports everything from article creation to content distribution and performance tracking. You’ll make it easier for editors, product managers, and analysts to understand what resonates with audiences—and why.

Based in Stockholm, you’ll work in a collaborative, impact-driven environment where data is central to how we create, measure, and evolve content experiences across the Nordics. You'll contribute to systems that support automation, metadata standardization, video and audio analytics, and cross-brand editorial insights.

What will you do in this role?

This is a hands-on and high-impact role, where you’ll work across the full data lifecycle—from infrastructure to insight. You will:

- Develop ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate large datasets from diverse sources into centralized data warehouses, data lakes, or other storage systems
- Integrate diverse data sources (structured and unstructured), enabling consistent, high-quality datasets for analytics and machine learning
- Build systems that power real-time personalization, editorial performance, A/B testing, audience engagement, and more
- Implement and maintain tracking solutions and event pipelines to ensure trustworthy data across products
- Collaborate closely with analysts, data scientists, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure data products align with business goals
- Support lighter analysis tasks when needed and help make data accessible and actionable through tools like Tableau, Amplitude, Kilkaya, and Streamlit
- For senior roles: Lead complex data architecture work, guide standards across teams, and mentor peers
We are looking for the following experience:

- 3+ years of experience in a professional software/data engineering role
- Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java
- Strong knowledge of and experience with data modeling in analytical environments
- Hands-on experience with modern data pipelines and orchestration tools (e.g. dbt, Airflow)
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (especially AWS) and infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform)
- Understanding of agile workflows and software engineering best practices (e.g. version control, CI/CD)
- Bonus: experience working with event data, editorial tools, or media analytics

What you’ll do
As an Operations Center Specialist, you will monitor and manage Schibsted Media’s IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, strong performance, and rapid incident resolution. You’ll work at the core of our operations, using best-in-class monitoring tools, collaborating with technical teams, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Your main responsibilities will be to:


Monitor and manage critical systems and infrastructure to ensure smooth operation


Use monitoring tools to detect system anomalies, performance issues, or potential security threats


Respond to incidents in real time—investigating, resolving, or escalating as needed


Follow and improve best practices in collaboration with Infrastructure, Service Desk, and Service Managers


Document incidents, actions taken, and resolutions in our incident management system


Generate and review system performance reports to identify trends and improvement areas


Provide updates and status reports to leadership on incidents and overall system health


Support business continuity by participating in disaster recovery planning and testing


Maintain a detailed knowledge base of procedures, troubleshooting steps, and escalation paths


Collaborate across IT, Security, and Development teams to ensure aligned responses and long-term solutions

Your main responsibilities will be to:

- Perform security assessments and identify areas for improvements and designing strategies to mitigate risks effectively.

- Engage in Incident Response in collaboration with NOC & SOC to mitigate and investigate security incidents using threat hunting and digital forensics methodology.

- Write security documentation, including policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to facilitate security audits and assessments.
- Contribute to the development of security training and education programs tailored to e.g. journalists and developers.
- Depending on your experience, provide guidance and mentorship to junior security team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.


Key competencies:

- Strong academic background within the areas of cyber security, computer science or other relevant field
- 1-3 years of experience in an IT Security role, with practical experience in implementing security controls and technologies.
- Proficiency in network and system administration, with hands-on experience managing security tools and technologies such as SIEM, DLP, EDR, and vulnerability scanning tools.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and cloud computing platforms, with the ability to analyse and troubleshoot security-related issues.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.

We’re seeking an Integration Developer with the overall responsibility of Test & Quality Assurance to join our Integration and API team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing and implementing innovative solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint, ensuring our systems work together flawlessly to support Schibsted’s mission.
About the Team
As part of our new IT organization, the Integration Solutions team is a cornerstone of Schibsted Media’s success. Reporting to the Application Solutions department, we collaborate closely with business units like Finance, HR, and Payroll to deliver integration services that enable efficient data exchange and empower seamless operations.

With the transition to two companies—Schibsted Media and Schibsted Marketplaces—our team is spearheading the establishment of the Integration Competency Center (ICC). Throughout 2024 and 2025, we’ll build a world-class team and ensure a successful transition of services, unlocking the full potential of our business areas.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Integration Developer with the overall responsibility of Test & Quality Assurance, you will:

- Be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive testing strategies, ensuring that our developed services and APIs meet the highest standards of excellence, such as cost-efficiency, high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Create and document test cases based on input from Integration architects and stakeholders.
- Perform test work according to ICC Development process, principles and guidelines, and ensure automation coverage is par with the standards.
- Support and assist team members, acting as a resource for assisting on increased test & quality assurance with a kind, open-minded, and collaborative approach.
- Lead end-to-end testing efforts across various platform applications. Work closely with developers to ensure unit testing coverage increases with each change, finding efficiencies to improve.
- Take integrations from concept to production, adhering to a DevOps mindset.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to translate integration needs into pragmatic, scalable solutions.
- Collaborate within an open and honest agile team, working closely with Solution Architects and Integration Architects to drive improvements in tools, processes, and designs.
Our team thrives in a fast-paced environment, emphasising thorough testing, high-quality user support, and teamwork. We also share the Scrum Master role on a rotating basis.

- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
