As a first assignment, you will lead the project that drives the SAP-wide harmonized product operating model.
Your tasks include but are not limited to the following:
Spearheading the transformation process as PMO Lead, ensuring alignment with SAP’s strategic goals, enhancing collaboration across teams, and fostering an empowered product team environment. This role involves coordinating multiple stakeholders and ensuring project outcomes.
Driving strategic projects that create real impact and influence major decisions for SAP working closely with colleagues on all levels across SAP Product Engineering, Technology & Innovations, Strategy & Operations, and beyond.
Actively contributing to the enhancement of business and process performance, project and change management, organizational design.
Making informed decisions which address key business issues and give consideration to the impact on other parts of the business/organization.
Building relationships to teams in the department, unit, board area and SAP-wide to facilitate support for standards, processes, tools & guidelines and acts as communication channel.
Supporting development of (board) area specific strategy, execution and operational plans
Demonstrating thought-leadership in your strategic assignments and in continuously shaping the overarching SAP product strategy
Executing and communicating SAP product strategy to internal and external stakeholders


YOUR PROFILE

As a Product Strategy Expert you contribute to the team’s success with the following experiences and attributes:
Product & Engineering Experiences
A background within Engineering or Product Management teams e.g. as product manager or product owner, including insights into a modern product operating model and an understanding of development processes and tools.
Proven track record in executing complex and large-scale transformation
Optional: A solid understanding of the SAP product portfolio, paired with knowledge of the SAP's internal processes and organizational structures.

Program Execution
Experience in executing complex and conceptually challenging programs is highly desirable.

Strategic Thinking
Ability to translate technology and market trends into strategic directions for SAP and break them down into actionable execution plans.

TASKS
The main task of a Business Architect is to lead the solution side of a customer sales engagemnet and to be the sigle point of contact for the Account Executives and specific customers. That means, being the key driver from vision to use cases to tangible solution proofs.
In short, this means:
Orchestrate internal and external solution resources in an engagement; drive deal qualification, prioritization and assigning the right team to the opportunity in close co-operation with the Account Executive and Presales Manager.
Collaborate closely with other internal stakeholders; like Industry Value Advisors, Center of Excellence; Digital Business Service and Product Development to create the digital transformation vision, win theme and the mid- to long-term strategy for the customer account.
Spend time with customers and lead the engagement with key stakeholders by actively participating in customer meetings, events and evangelize business innovation topics in customer industry language and solutions.
Own the quality of the solution specific proposals (presentations, demonstrations, innovation workshops etc.) by driving the process from vision to use cases to tangible solution proofs.
Hold themselves and others accountable to the standards established via Best-Run for delivering memorable customer engagements.
Facilitate innovation workshops with design thinking techniques and ensuring consistent theme and readiness for workshop/demo delivery.
Responsible for resource search and reaches out to presales manager for approval, allocation and staffing of the identified resources in the system.
Drive deliverables as Business Transformation Roadmaps, Solution feasibility studies and proposals, Business case input, RFx´s, use case stories to fulfil vision, Solution maps, manage PoC, Mock-ups etc.


EXPECTATIONS
You must have a broad knowledge of SAP solutions and ERP and ability to map business priorities to SAP solution components. You must also be able to demonstrate and showcase S4 and the Intelligent Enterprise solutions on a high-level, and how they relate to customers’ expectations and requirements.
Build strong relationship with SAP Sales teams and with their assigned customers
Experienced in presenting to and talking with C-level managers and orchestrate to co-operation of cross teams (Business, IT etc.)
You must have the ability to understand how SAP solutions can support the customers digital transformation
Excellent team management skills and experience with orchestration of complex deals envisioning the big picture and value for the customer
Provide best-practice guidance on customer processes and present business values related to solution proposition and roadmap

You will be a part of our Nordic Industry Value Advisory team and be based in our Gothenburg or Copenhagen office. The team is growing and currently consist of 6 people across the Market Unit - Nordics. You will report to the Head of Industry Value Advisory Nordics.
