Role description
As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for creating opportunities in the BaaS business model and securing agreements. You will coordinate the activities with our BESS team and external resources to achieve set goals and efficient project development.
Main responsibilities:
Lead the sales pipeline from opportunity origination to contractual negotiations and closing.
Drive and excel in the sales of BaaS (Battery as a Service) to targeted customer segments including DSOs (Distribution System Operators) and C&I (Commercial and Industrial) customers.
Lead and mentor the team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team goals.
Adapt and actively contribute to the ongoing development of our marketing and sales strategies to enhance effectiveness and drive business growth.
Establish clear performance metrics, conduct regular reviews, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor market trends, competitors, emerging technologies, new market entrants, and evolving regulations with a strategic business focus. Proactively identify new opportunities and revenue streams to drive the growth of our BESS projects.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (with focus on energy systems, renewable energy) or business administration/economics. Postgraduate or advanced degrees in such areas are a strong merit.
Relevant experience in sales or business development within the energy sector.
Strong knowledge of BESS technology, renewable energy, and frequency ancillary service markets in Sweden, with an understanding of energy regulations, policies, and incentive schemes.
Proven ability to develop sales strategies, meet targets, and drive growth, with knowledge of financial modelling for renewable projects.
Deep understanding of the Nordic energy landscape, market trends, and regulatory environment for energy storage.
Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills, capable of closing executive large-scale deals and communicating complex concepts.
Experience in leading teams; proficiency in Swedish and English (additional languages a plus).
Driving license

Recap Energy is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager, Sourcing and Supply Channels - China. In this role, you will be working alongside our procurement team and supporting other parts of the organization with establishing our supplier base for BESS and related products in China.
As our Senior Business Development Manager, Sourcing and Supply Channels - China, you will be looking at Recap’s pipeline of projects in order to find suppliers from which to source the products relevant in the implementation of those projects.


Main responsibilities
Work closely with Project and Product Managers to understand the organization’s requirements.
Develop documentation to request quotations for products identified in your work with our cross-functional teams.
Conduct continuous market research and competitive analysis to identify procurement opportunities, product differentiation and market expansion.
Identify potential suppliers of the products and negotiate favorable terms for Recap. Work closely with procurement teams to source quality equipment at competitive prices, ensuring cost-effectiveness and reliability.
Assist CEO and relevant managers to select potential strategic partnerships amongst the suppliers identified and approached.
The the lead in negotiating partnership and distribution agreements with select suppliers.



Candidate profile
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration.
Long experience in the renewable energy or energy storage sectors in China, with high level connections in relevant Chinese companies and industry associations.
Proven track record in business development in the aforementioned sectors.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Management skills, ability to lead, engage and create trust.
Fluency in mandarin Chinese is a must. Any other Chinese dialects is a merit.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Willingness to travel internationally for up to 60 days a year.

As our Project Developer – Ground-Mounted Solar, you will be responsible for the management and compliance of all the procedures required for reaching ready-to-build.
Main responsibilities
Screening land areas using GIS tools.
Compiling and presenting screening reports.
Driving permit processes with relevant authorities.
Managing relationships with external developers, service providers, landowners, permitting authorities, network operators, regulatory authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.
