This person will lead certain BPA activities within the Nordics cluster, providing insightful and value-added analysis and decision support to the business leadership.

Job Description
Major accountabilities:
Manage the execution of regional / global strategies for own part of the organization and the correct and timely implementation of BPA processes and policies and ensure adherence thereof.
Deliver core management reporting and financial planning processes to ensure the effective and timely delivery of insightful, recurring or ad-hoc financial information.
Lead the development of detailed budget and financial forecasts for use in Global and Regional, country, Business Franchise (BF), and Business Unit (BU) planning.
Design and maintain early warning systems for financial tracking, ensuring accurate advance warning for all financial results.
Proactively drive performance and carry out value-added analyses on financial data: Sales trends, Functional Expenses, Other Income and Expenses, Impairment review, Management Cash Flow, Capital Investments, life time costs for projects, NPV etc -Support the organization’s leadership team with financial analysis (including Risks and Opportunities analysis), cost analysis and control and drive corrective actions.
Conduct value added analyses, e.g. Resource Allocation, Profitability analyses, Benchmarking to recommend short -and long-term targets and improvement areas.
Manage and ensure the development of a team of experienced BPA professionals.
Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree or equivalent in business or finance. MBA or PG degree in Management Accounting (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) a plus
6+ years relevant financial business experience in a major corporation, ideally Pharmaceuticals or FMCG industry
Excellent interpersonal & influencing skills with ability to build strong relationships
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical skills; able to handle complex data and derive business insights. Familiarity with AI-based forecasting a plus.
Advanced Excel skills and strong experience in Word & PowerPoint

Languages :
English.

As a Commercial Excellence Manager you will ensure efficiency of existing operations and capturing new opportunities to grow and optimize BU business by:
• Managing business excellence and performance updates
• Provide operational support to the Nordic Commercial organization on the execution of local processes and projects and contribute to identifying and maintaining actions needed to ensure training & compliance of the defined processes.
• Manage and coordinate projects defining objectives and oversees quality control, audit and inspection readiness, in collaboration with business owners.

Your Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and implement commercial excellence across the Nordic Commercial team by coordinating business processes impacting the team, such as strategic and operational planning processes, cross functional working processes as well as WEC/RE/Global commercial excellence programs.
• Establish and manage tools and/or processes to follow up on execution, including activities such as FF incentives, CRM (Linx), Targeting and segmentation, Account analytics etc. in a timely manner and quality in accordance to OBU governance, local law and regulations, SOPs and P3.
• Manage and coordinate defined projects with different teams and internal stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on training requirements in relation to commercial processes including SOP’s and written guidance documentation for defined associates and track that trainings are done.
• Provide expertise and analytical skills to projects and ad hoc analysis for the business.
• Continuously look for ways to maximize leverage of PLS to improve productivity while allowing for enhanced customer and strategic focus onshore.
• Support performance updates and launch reviews
• Ensure consolidated timely response from the Nordic Commercial organization to WEC/RE/Global requests.
• Coordination across functions, including Medical and Market Access Excellence Manager as well as Finance team


Minimum requirements
What you'll bring to the role:
• University degree in Economics, Marketing and/or Bioscience
• Fluent English verbal and written and one Scandinavian language preferred
• 5+ years of experience in marketing in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry with emphasis on launches, disease area management and product lifecycle
• Proven ability to work effectively across a matrix and widely-dispersed organization
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills; Being able to work independently; Be proactive in behavior and thinking; Efficient problem solving skills
• Excellent analytical ability and strong process excellence skill; Proven execution in project management
• Successful development and implementation of innovative programs and processes
• Strong business acumen, high degree of customer focus
• Experience from working with CRM system is meriting; Sales experience is meriting
