About This Role:
The Blasting Worker is responsible for handling of explosive, detonator, operation of charging machine for rock excavation on surface or underground,
Responsibilities:
1.Handling Explosive Material
To be fully training by the explosive supplier for handling the explosive material;
2.Blasting Work
To be fully training by the explosive supplier, exactly and completely follow the working procedure of mixing, charging and explode the explosive material;
Follow the design parameters and instructions from Site Manager of each blasting;
Operate the computer intelligence charging machine on surface and underground;
Handle the data logo of charging machine, upload and download the related data;
3.General Maintenance of charging machine
Responsible the general maintenance of charging machine, as assistant for the regular maintenance together with machine supplier;
Responsible to monitor the performance of charging machine, once the machine out of order, report to the site manager;
4.Assistant works
If necessary, follow the instructions from site manager to assist other works;
Requirements:
1. Knowledge of handling explosive material;
2. Knowledge of operating and general maintenance of charging machine;
3. Minimum of five (5) years, full-time experience in mining industry or infrastructure industry as a blasting worker;
4. Fluent in spoken Swedish and English;
