About the Role at Trapets

Market Surveillance covers all order events and trades in equities, derivatives and other financial instruments and is adapted to comply with the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR). The Financial Crime Surveillance team operates Trapets’ Managed Services for Market Surveillance and AML Transaction Monitoring, serving around 15 customers based both in Sweden and abroad, by handling their outsourced operational market surveillance.

We are on an exciting journey with clear goals of global expansion and growth. Right now, we have an opportunity for a Surveillance Officer during a 16-month parental leave to come join our growing and dynamic Financial Crime Surveillance team in Stockholm.

Role responsibilities

Our Financial Crime Surveillance team use Trapets' surveillance systems, Instantwatch, to monitor orders, transactions, and market data in order to detect, investigate and report suspicious market abuse and money laundering in accordance with the money laundering and market abuse directives.

- Monitor, detect, investigate, and report orders and trades in financial instruments and monetary transactions.

- Partly monitor transactions and KYC data to identify and investigate suspicious behaviours in relation to AML/CTF regulations.

- Contribute with knowledge and experience to improve and streamline processes, routines, and procedures.

- Search, collect and compile information and data through different channels, as part of the investigative work relating to the daily surveillance

- Present the outcome of investigations carried out and assess related suspicions, followed by adequate recommendations to our customers about what measures to be taken as the next step for the cases reported to them.

- Daily contact with customers, both for incoming issues and for outgoing communication

- Work in line with customers guidelines and instructions and with respect to laws regulations and best practice.

- Keep up to date with current and future laws, regulations and best practice in the field of financial crime compliance

Role Summary

As a Technical Business Analyst at Trapets, you will be taking lead in refining highly specified requirements into detailed specifications. - Be involved in customer projects and oversee gathering and specifying requirements.

About the Role

- Plan and execute outbound campaigns

Your background

- 2+ years of professional experience
- Working with B2B SaaS buyer journeys is a plus
- Goal oriented and data- and process driven
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing
- Knowledge and/or practical work within AML regulations and/or have worked within FinTech, RegTech or the financial industry is an advantage.

Have the ability to build trust and strong relationships with relevant stakeholders (internal & external)

Whilst you will be based in Stockholm your target markets for driving new sales will be Finland and Baltics. Previous experience in driving growth within new sales in these markets are not a must, however it will be seen as an advantage.

Strategically your mission will be to build and scale the Customer Success function and to ensure best practices processes and procedures are evolved and implemented. With the Team, form Trapets long term Customer Success Playbook which should directly support Trapets overall Vision, Mission and Strategic short- and long-term goals.
On an operational level you will lead an experienced and very knowledgeable professional team. Your role in forming an operating rhythm that ensures goals and results are agreed and measurable will be important along side setting routines to track, visualized and celebrate the team’s successes.
Your door should always be open when they need help with either removing blockers or when they need your advice or knowledge. Your ultimate goals should be to lead through motivation and inspiration and be there to help the team and the individuals be successful in their roles.
You will be reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer and your key stakeholder will be key members of Trapets Sales-, Operations- and Development Teams.
Qualifications and Experience Required
To thrive in this role, you should have a couple of years’ experience from a similar role, preferably in SaaS company, Software Solutions/Services. You are used to working with revenue retention, customer adoption and satisfaction and have a clear view as to what is needed in order to build processes and routines that drives and enhance our customers experience with Trapets.
What will you be doing:
Build and lead a winning team that proactively delivers value to our customers
With the Customer Success Team, develop processes and routines that will ensure we deliver the best value and experience to our clients
Plan and execute on the customer success strategy with the aim of reaching revenue retention and product adoption goals
Coach, educate, and develop a team of passionate Customer Success
Monitor and continuously understand the health of our customers
Provide insights to Product, Development and Sales on customer and industry trends to drive the voice of the customer within Trapets
Work with Marketing to set quarterly and yearly Webinars/Events where relevant and insightful information will be shared with our clients
Participate in industry events alongside the team to foster networking, brand presence, and stay up to date on industry trends

What is required to be successful:
Experience and knowledge in coaching, leading or managing a team
Experience from leading client facing teams either sales or customer success manager roles
Excellent relationship management and customer service skills
Excellent presentation skills (verbal & written)
Highly pro-active approach and experience from working in an agile work environment
Strong team player
Excellent verbal and written skills in Swedish and English
Experience by leading cross country teams is a plus
Previous expertise in Securities trading, AML, Client Screening, KYC, Customer Due Diligence or in RegTech or FinTech is it an advantage

Trapets are looking for an AML copywriter to work on a project basis. We are open to freelancers/agencies/consultants and those with a general competency within anti-money laundering, who like to put pen to paper and craft messaging that resonates with users of AML software and systems.
You should be able to effectively navigate and communicate regulatory information, and technical product information in a succinct and informative manner that the reader finds appealing.
Part of your role will be to work closely with the relevant people at Trapets to create documentation and copy in English which can be used to craft product sheets, E-books and other written material which serves a purpose to our clients within the financial service industry.
This is a temporary assignment with the potential for further collaboration. Working from our head office in Stockholm. The project duration is approximately 3-6 months part-time with flexibility.
It is meritorious if you have experience working as a copywriter, journalist, content creator, or similar role within RegTech, anti-money laundering, or AML regulations.
