Stockholm Water Technology (SWT) är ett svenskt företag baserat i Stockholm som utvecklar och designar hållbara vattenreningslösningar. Våra produkter integrerar hårdvara med mjukvara och grundar sig i en teknik utvecklad på Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan efter 15 års forskning. Vi har under de senaste åren gått från ett forskningsprojekt till ett företag som designar, konstruerar och tillverkar produkter och vi växer i en snabb takt. Nu söker vi en produktionsassistent för tillverkning av våra produkter.

Dina arbetsuppgifter
Ditt arbete kommer innebära varierande produktionsuppgifter för att tillverka våra produkter. Detta inkluderar moment från samtliga nivåer i våra system såsom:
· Förbehandling av material
· Tillverkning av komponenter från material
· Montering av komponenter i system
· Kvalitetskontroll av material och komponenter
· Optimering av tillverkningsprocesser

Då vi i dagsläget är ett litet team på 7 personer ser vi gärna att du som person är självgående och är beredd att ta ansvar, men inte är rädd att fråga om du undrar något. Vi ser även att du är noggrann med detaljer sätter stolthet i ditt arbete. Det är ett plus om du är lösningsorienterad och har en fallenhet för att förbättra tillverkningsprocesser.

With the vision of “providing clean water for the world” Stockholm Water Technology AB (SWT) has developed a membrane-free technology that can treat a vast array of contaminated waters starting with desalination and deionization. SWT combines nanotechnology-enabled materials with a smart engineering design to enable competitive and versatile products which benefit both the user and the environment, lead to cost and water savings in addition to giving the user the ability to define the output water quality. Currently, our fundamental technology, as well as our core product is in place and now it is about getting the first commercial fully-packed product into the market.


What have we done so far?
Over the past 2 years:
We have built a team of 6 employees with concrete experience in business development, system integration, nanotechnology-based materials evaluation, hardware & software architecture, product and solution development, and marketing.


We have transitioned the technology from a core product (MVP) to a full-fledged mini-process plant and have generated substantial interest with early adopters in the home and industrial segments.
Generated revenue through sales, which is expanding through collaboration with multiple local and international partners.
Secured over 15 MSEK in funding and grants and recently completed a SEED Round.
All set to take the company forward and introduce the product to the market just after the summer.



What’s our next challenge?
We have multiple applications of our solution and see several market opportunities and different potential business models and strategies. As we are at the stage of ramping up commercialization, we need a product-oriented embedded engineer, who can take current embedded architecture and convert it into a mouldable and expandable solution and look at it from a functionality perspective. The next phase will involve in-depth interactions with actual customers to bring the product to a form that fills the current solution gaps in the market and offer product features that bring substantial value to our customers.


Your challenge
We’re looking for a team player who is keen on using their skills to improve the product and their abilities. We can overlook experience in exchange for the right attitude and a focused mind capable of managing a product life cycle. As one of the initial team members, you would need to take responsibilities in addition to your general tasks, which will be recognized and aptly rewarded. Tasks will include:
Product embedded software architecture and source code
Involvement with embedded hardware design
System installations and commissioning, troubleshooting
Support in scaling production and developing test rig equipment.
Able to take ownership and accountability for the embedded component of the product.



Skills & Requirements
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate and we expect you to be entrepreneurial with a result-focused mindset and a strong drive to take the product to the next phase. You will need to take ownership of the embedded side of the product and bring it to a form that is reliable and highly versatile in its application. SWT deals with local and international customers and hence fluency in English is necessary. Swedish is an added advantage. Experience in complete product life cycle experience would be looked upon favorably but is not necessary. Typical skills required are:
Software languages (Python, C, C++)
Database engineering and set up (, AWS)
Hardware printed circuit board (PCB) design
Embedded communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet, USH, I2C, SPI, CAN)
Data communication security implementation (data encoding, key generation)
Being able to attend physically at our office/workshop in Stockholm

Introduction:
Water is an essential component of life & unfortunately a fast depleting one. With the vision of “providing clean water for the world”, Stockholm Water Technology AB (SWT) has developed a unique solution to purify & promote the sustainable reuse of water which benefits both mankind & the environment. SWT combines nanotechnology enabled materials with a smart engineering design to enable competitive and versatile products which save water and energy. Currently our fundamental technology, as well as our core product has been validated. SWT is now building a team to ramp up our production and sales activities.


Responsibilities:
As the LEE, the candidate is expected to manage the development of the control board electronics and bring forward the overall electrical control architecture and configuration for the capacitive deionization (CDI) water purification systems from SWT. The candidate will also support the technical sales functions/team when required required. Key tasks for the candidate will be as follows:


Manage the architecture and design of the control printed circuit board for the SWT-CDI products
Develop the architecture for the electrical powering and control scheme for large scale SWT-CDI projects involving a multitide of SWT-CDI systems
Develop and manage the software architecture for enabling the board operations and data management aspects of SWT-CDI
Design the SWT-CDI electrical test facility in the automated production line





SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with experience in the complete product development life-cycle. The candidate should be result oriented and independent and work under the general guidelines set by the company management. Fluency in English is a must and knowledge in Swedish will be an advantage. In addition, the following aspects will be given importance:
Experience in firmware design and complete product development
Experience in IoT enabled product development
Good knowledge about general data structure and storage aspects
Exposure to embedded control schemes for capacitive deionization systems will be highly regarded
