Responsibilities
Perform assigned tasks and escalate issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations.
Coordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claim and process failed vendor hardware devices. This includes information processing, packaging, shipment, and receipt of return for Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) devices following all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) related to RMA warranty process.
Leverage process knowledge and best judgment to complete tasks with minimal direct supervision.
Maintains a strong focus to understand the impact of their work when completing tickets and assigned Inventory and Asset Management (IAM) tasks.
Maintains and steward up-to-date and accurate logical information within various inventory management systems (e.g., configuration management databases, asset management repositories).

Responsibilities
Serve as an operations specialist in a wide area of CE operation (e.g. electrical, mechanical, control systems, generators) and work independently on more advanced tasks.

Responsibilities:
As a successful Critical Environment Program Manager (CEPM), your performance objectives will include:
Data Center Operations / Service Delivery:
Establish strong working relationships with customers.
Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in a datacenter
Manage, plan control and organize the planned preventative and corrective electrical and/or mechanical equipment.
This involves utilizing CMMS and monitoring the performance of electrical plant and machinery, ensuring work is undertaken to prevent failure/loss of the plant and equipment and the production of work order and allocating the work daily to the Technicians, monitoring progress, and inspecting completed work to ensure the required standards are achieved.
Ensure that electrical, mechanical, and/or fire/life safety equipment within the datacenter is operating at peak efficiency.
Ensure compliance with infrastructure operations standardization
Act as an escalation point for all facilities-related issues within the datacenter, escalating to the Data Operations Manager as needed. This may include assisting technicians in times of emergencies, job training, and providing input/recommendations on electrical/mechanical design parameters.
Management of small-to-medium projects from conception to completion
Ensure routine reporting for critical infrastructure, inclusive of operational and maintenance KPIs, objectives, organizational polices, procedures, and standards.
Driving cost/energy efficiency projects
Identifying single points-of-failure at regional datacenter locations
Coordinate, plan, schedule, and supervise CE audits and compliance verifications
Drive identification and remediation of vulnerabilities (such as single points of failure). Provide recommendations on new data center equipment designs, technologies, and construction methods. Drive cost/energy efficiency projects

Responsibilities
As a successful Critical Environment Technician, your success is measured by:
Equipment and Systems Operations
Serve as an operations specialist in one major area of CE operations (e.g., electrical, mechanical, controls, generators) and works on advanced tasks independently.
Inspect and supervise critical environment-related facility equipment (e.g., controls, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning [HVAC], mechanical systems), building, and grounds regularly for unsafe or abnormal conditions and escalate per applicable policies and standards.
Utilize telemetry, control systems, and other platforms, to monitor performance of maintenance and operations of equipment (e.g., electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety) within the data center.
Utilize internal computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track all equipment assets and to complete work order requests for maintenance work.
Safely and quickly respond to and leads an onsite incident response team for all abnormal conditions that impact operations, and coordinates with other critical facilities professionals to perform corrective repairs, without supervision.
Enhance, develop new or follow preexisting emergency operating procedures (EOPs), methods of procedure (MOPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in relation to CE operations and incidents.

Equipment and Systems Maintenance
Under minimal oversight, perform various types of maintenance (e.g., planned, predictive, corrective) and repairs following methods of procedure (MOPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for one or more types of equipment (e.g., electrical, mechanical, cooling systems), correct procedures and equipment, and escalate when appropriate. Serve as a subject matter expert for 1+ types of equipment.
Have a hands-on understanding of how equipment works within disciplines they have been trained and how to troubleshoot equipment, systems, subsystems, and components independently within their trained discipline(s).
Coordinate and schedule supplier/vendor on-site activities and recognizes circumstances when to stop supplier work to address potential and/or identified concerns.
Takes part in getting third-party work underway (e.g., making sure systems are properly energized/deenergized), ensuring the work is started and completed in a safe manner in accordance with standard practices, procedures, federal/local legislation, and municipal codes.
Provides consultation to lower-level colleagues in troubleshooting systems and problems.

As a successful EHS Manager,
Serving as the primary contact for the implementation of the EHS programs for specific Microsoft Datacenters.
Being accountable for EHS performance metrics and implementation of annual improvement plans.
Periodically inspecting, auditing, and reviewing safe work practices to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
Conduct workplace risk/exposure assessments for various classes of hazards.
Supporting incident investigations and root cause analysis, so that corrective and preventive actions can be identified, communicated globally, and implemented.
Conducting/delivering regulatory training programs to meet EHS requirements.

Basic Skills and Experience:
A University/Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or a related in science/engineering discipline.
Progressive experience in EHS is required, with demonstrated knowledge and experience controlling the broad spectrum of risks across multiple sites.
Must have current working knowledge of relevant Swedish Work Environment Authority requirements incl. legislation and regulations (Arbetsmiljöverket), European and OSHA regulations and standards and other non-regulatory safety standards applicable to the location.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
The successful candidate will have a strong record of accomplishment preventing injuries, developing/implementing robust processes and management systems, and in building productive collaborative relationships with internal/external business partners.
Experience managing Environmental, Health and Safety in large-scale mission critical infrastructure preferred.
Experience in performing and managing Industrial Hygiene programmes
