Job description
MAP Petite Maison is on the search for a talented and well-presented Bartender, with whiskey knowledge. Two years previous experience in this role is required. MAP Petite Maison is a dedicated cocktail bar located on Vasagatan in Stockholm specialising in whisky, cocktails and small plates.
The right candidate is expected to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm to provide five-star service to all our guests. This position will suit a social person whose main drive is to provide an excellent and memorable experience for all guests. The management team will give you all the tools necessary to constantly develop yourself.
Your duties will include:
Working closely with the team to learn the correct ways of service and how to improve the guest experience continuously
Learn how to make all in house cocktails and an extensive number of classic cocktails in order to help the customer to make an excellent choice based on their described preferences
Study Japanese and other world whiskeys in order to confidently be able to recommend and describe whiskeys on the whiskey menu
Preparing food
Prepare cocktails, in-house made ingredients and batches to ensure the bar is always fully stocked and not missing any items
Communicate efficiently, verbally and written, with the team to ensure any low stock items, feedback, points of improvements are brought to the attention of management
Running every service efficiently with great attention to detail to achieve great customer satisfaction
Working on the floor, conversing with guests and assisting them in making a great choice of cocktails, food, whiskey and any other spirits.
Ensuring every single guest is looked after and enjoying themselves at all times
Ensuring the correct set-up of the venue and that it is checked and maintained throughout the day and night
Dealing with guests regarding any inquiries they may have
Building a positive relationship with our regular guests
Assisting with other tasks in the venue as required
Carry out masterclasses such as Cocktail Making and whiskey tastings.
