Partner closely with Environmental, Health, and Safety teams to drive Operational Excellence in the Control of Hazardous Energy
Review safety documentation and conduct audits to ensure safe conditions and practices throughout the energy program
Support electrical infrastructure management throughout the data center campus
Train new and existing employees in defined Energy Isolation process and procedure
Work with construction and commissioning teams to ensure safe working conditions to properly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of MEP systems

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or demonstrated experience on large-scale international construction projects.


Bring proven experience in MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) construction, construction quality management, commissioning, and quality control testing—ideally within data center or industrial construction environments where specific installation practices and standards are critical.


Are technically skilled in Microsoft 360 Suite, BIM (Building Information Modeling), Bluebeam, and other construction software.


Possess a sharp analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.


Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to installation compliance and high-quality results—this includes auditing contractor certifications and adhering to governing standards.

The Energy Marshal will be a client representative who oversees and ensures the general contractor and supplemental vendor support comply with the overall energy isolation program management on a data center construction project.

Role and Responsibilities:
· The Energy Marshal is an assurance role that helps ensure the vendors' and contractors' Energy Isolation Program meets or exceeds any client safety policy requirements and is stood up by the Authorizing Energy Marshal.
· Utilize SPS-101 Energy Isolation SPS and SPS-101 Energy Isolation Guidebook as the baseline and foundation of the Energy Isolation Program that is implemented throughout the campus and project.
· Establishes and manages an Energy Isolation assurance process and works with site teams to close any gaps identified in assurance audits. Alignment Checklist SPS 101 Energy Isolation is provided as a Project Manager reference / guideline
· Participate in High Risk Activity (HRA) planning meetings associated with Energy Isolation.

Work on complex projects with multi-stage cost plans that are separated into zones

Close out commercial, change orders and contract issues
Perform interim valuations to ensure subcontractor payments are correct and made in a timely manner
Forecast and monitor cash flow/accruals to ensure a positive cash flow is maintained, liaising with the client’s financial team
Assist in the reparation and agreement of final accounts, including the handling of any claims to ensure the client gets best value from works undertaken
