Energy Marshal – Data Center Construction

The Energy Marshal will be a client representative who oversees and ensures the general contractor and supplemental vendor support comply with the overall energy isolation program management on a data center construction project.

Role and Responsibilities:
· The Energy Marshal is an assurance role that helps ensure the vendors' and contractors' Energy Isolation Program meets or exceeds any client safety policy requirements and is stood up by the Authorizing Energy Marshal.
· Utilize SPS-101 Energy Isolation SPS and SPS-101 Energy Isolation Guidebook as the baseline and foundation of the Energy Isolation Program that is implemented throughout the campus and project.
· Establishes and manages an Energy Isolation assurance process and works with site teams to close any gaps identified in assurance audits. Alignment Checklist SPS 101 Energy Isolation is provided as a Project Manager reference / guideline
· Participate in High Risk Activity (HRA) planning meetings associated with Energy Isolation.
· Ensures the approval process for proposed Energy Isolation procedures is in place.
· Work with the Authorizing Energy Marshal to establish an Energy Isolation Permit process.
· Ensures SoWs, MOPs, and Scripts are reviewed, and all sources of energy are identified.
· Helps determine if a group or individual LOTO will be required. Establishes with the Authorizing Energy Marshal a centralized LOTO with all site entities.
· Ensures process is established that verifies qualifications, training, and PPE of personnel performing the work.
· Delegate alternates that are qualified to assume role during multi-shift and peak energization time frames.

Commissioning Manager - Data Center Construction - Gävle
Linesight works as part of a Client team responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of new data center capacity for the Client. As a Commissioning manager, you will work with data center architects, engineers, construction managers, network engineers, data center operations teams and finance teams in order to manage and deliver data center capacity. You will execute against scope, schedule and budget to deliver the latest generation of data center technology for the client. You shall be responsible for ensuring that the project is commissioned in accordance with the Client's standards and you shall directly manage the process for projects for the site.

Role and Responsibilities:
Provide commercial and contract support throughout the project
Produce cost plans/estimates to provide client detailed budgets
Ensure initial cost plans are sufficient to carry out the works
Analyse tenders to ensure value for money and that the works have been procured at the best market rates
Deliver all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner
Close out commercial, change orders and contract issues
Perform interim valuations to ensure subcontractor payments are correct and made in a timely manner
Forecast and monitor cash flow/accruals to ensure a positive cash flow is maintained, liaising with the client’s financial team
