About the Role
As a Category Analyst for Nordics you will play a crucial role helping Haleon to analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and sales data to provide actionable insights that drive our business strategies.
You will closely collaborate with various teams across the Nordics (including Sweden) as well as senior leadership to better understand our current brand performances at retail level and to turn these findings into opportunities. Further you will lead the development, harmonization & utilization of sell out performance reporting across the Nordic markets.
We are seeking for a data-expert who is not only able to handle and simplify complex data but also passioned about generating insights and has the seniority to shape and influence commercial decision of various sales & marketing departments.
The role is part of our Nordic Category Management team and reports into the Category Management Lead Nordics. The role has Nordic a focus to drive the harmonization and utilization of our sell out data and to support teams with ad-hoc analysis and insights that enables us to further drive the growth of our brands and categories within retail.


Key Responsibilities:
Develop & maintain Nordic dashboards to track key consumption performance indicators; monitor, report and advice on sales performance and market shares.
Conduct competitive analysis to understand market dynamics and identify potential threats and opportunities for the categories we are playing in.
Ensure a consistent performance tracking of new product launches and support teams by finding the right insights and datapoints to strengthen retail stories for new launches and listings.
Leverage existing data and reporting solutions of the wider BU analytic teams and be the central point of contact for data harmonization, exchange and improvements.
Collaborate with marketing, sales and commercial excellence teams to enhance utilization and understanding of sales data throughout the organization.
Drive marketing effectiveness analysis, especially within our DCom channel. Help create dashboards / frameworks for us to measure Dcom media performance to equid the Dcom, Sales and marketings team understand the effectiveness of investments across the funnel, both on and off platform.



Qualifications and Skills: Essential:


Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Econometrics or related.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to run ad hoc deep dives, to interpret complex data and to provide actionable insights via excellent presentation skills.
Profound experience in creation of automated regular performance reporting in Excel and preferably PowerBI; Expert knowledge of syndicated EPOS data
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with strong customer focus and the capability to influence at different levels in the organization and at retail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with a commitment to delivering on-time and quality results.
Proactive attitude and constant drive for change and improvement.
Fluent in English.



Preferred:
3+ years experience working in FMCG (client or agency side) in analytics roles.
Experience with Grocery, Pharmacy and D-Com retailer.
Demonstrated project management skills leading cross-functional teams.

About the role
Lead the Market organization from a financial perspective.
Sounding board to Country Manager.
Have wide responsibility across several aspects of country finance (BPA, FRA) and owns internal controls.
Manage effectively relationship with business service centers.
Full ownership of market P&L.
Play active role in the Cluster Finance function.



Key responsibilities
Business Partner
Support Country management in defining and achieving profitable growth strategies.
Recommend and challenge activities to maximize business profitability on short/long term basis.
Ensure transparent basis for business decisions through a true and fair financial evaluation.
Control and coordinate the Trade investments with Key Account Managers and Country Managers and lead the financial decision.
Analyse and influence decisions when comes to customer negotiations relying on ROI analysis.



Planning
Coordinate and lead clear and transparent target setting process (Latest Estimates, target…).
Lead the rolling forecast process and deliver transparent forecasting, furthermore, work closely with the sales team delivering a week sales forecast for within the month and quarter.
Lead/Collarborate advertising & promotion ROI /process/Tool and coordinate phasing with marketing and customer marketing.



Reporting
Provide financial reporting to Cluster Finance team and Northern Europe Business Unit.
Conduct all closing activities (monthly, quarterly and annual) together with Cluster and C&C.
Lead monthly deck process with input from sales and marketing
Manage the ICFW within finance and lead through other within other functions.
Manage the ATP, statuary books and IPT.
Continuous review of COGS.
Manage the relation with BSC.
Manage the market WC.



Analysis
Provide all necessary financial analyses and planning for country organization.
Design, enhance and deliver management reporting.
Drive initiatives to reduce working capital.
Analyse differences between the results and the original budget, in sales, costs…
Lead long term forecasting and deliver the budget for upcoming years.
Ensure that customer and supplier terms and conditions are in line with BU objectives.
Effectively manage relationship with Haleon business service centers.
Primary deliverables of role; its scope; budgetary control (operating/capital), impact on strategy, policy, business or people relationships.



Qualifications and skills
Essential
Minimum 3 years of experience with financial acumen - qualified accountant.

About the role
The main focus of the role will be to drive profitable growth through making Net Revenue Management a winning asset for the organization in order to optimize margin and/or reinvest into brand/customer building initiatives.
Key responsibilities
Define key NRM priorities per country cluster/country considering potential value the initiative can drive.
Apply BU frameworks along NRM pillars of brand portfolio pricing, PPA, mix, promotion management and trade investment in order to maximize NRM value:
Pricing:
Ensure floor price & brand hierarchy adherence
Run monthly pricing reviews – identify recommended actions

Identify major mix opportunities along country, brand, SKU, channel

About the role
The role will lead the commercial excellence strategy development and execution across the Nordics (Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway). The key objective of the role is to accelerate our growth agenda by driving excellence and efficiencies in channel and customer execution and by identifying additional future penetration opportunities for the cluster. Securing that NRM becomes a growth enabler for the cluster – identifying opportunities across all 4 NRM pillars (Price, Promotion, Trade Investment, PPA) and following them through with the countries in terms of execution.
Identify future penetration and commercial growth opportunities across channels and categories.
Create a culture of growth mindset and pride in execution - inspire for commercial excellence thinking by showing the value it brings to the organization – expressed in financial value, penetration potential and simplifying/steering the organizational efforts.
Attract, identify, and develop diverse talent and build commercial excellence capability across the cluster for current and future needs.
