Ensuring FNZ’s platform services are successfully provided to Customers requires:

Role Description

Work collaboratively and in partnership with the wider client delivery and support teams (Project Managers, Delivery Managers, Service Delivery Managers & Solution Consultants) to successfully deliver to customers;



Platform Services
Accountable for ensuring the product/investment administration and custody service is delivered to Customers, as a minimum, in accordance with the contractually agreed service standards;
Accountable for ensuring the technology support service being delivered, as a minimum, in accordance with the contractually agreed service standards and FNZ's Group quality standards.



Financial Outcomes
Accountable for achievement, on a quarter-by-quarter basis, of budgeted revenue for all Implementation and Enhancement fees related to Customers;
Accountable for achievement, on a quarter-by-quarter basis, of budgeted levels of FUM and Asset Servicing Fees revenue for Customers;
Accountable for the development and maintenance of an Implementation and Enhancement Fee pipeline for Customers.



Strategic Outcomes
Accountable for the on-going development and maintenance of an account management plan to ensure future FNZ revenues, margins and FUM from Customers are maximised;
Accountable for the achievement of budgeted levels of Committed FUM for Customers;
Accountable for the development and creation of a Committed FUM pipeline from migrations;
Responsible for supporting and help shape the Customers strategic development and growth plans.


Risk & Compliance Outcomes
Responsible for ensuring Customers receive regular, accurate and appropriate reporting assuring them of FNZ's compliance with our regulatory obligations and to enable Customers to fulfil their regulatory obligations;
Accountable for the successful facilitation and management of audits & reviews of FNZ carried out by Customers or their 3rd parties including the successful closure of any findings from those audits or reviews related to FNZ;
Accountable for ensuring that Risk Events and/or Breaches related to Customers are actioned and closed within any contractual or regulatory timeframes;
Accountable for providing regular, accurate and appropriate reporting on any risks relevant to the successful delivery of the platform services to ensure the achievement of Customers & FNZ's regulatory obligations;
Accountable for providing regular, accurate and appropriate internal reporting on any risks relevant to the successful delivery of the platform services to ensure the achievement of FNZ's financial outcomes.



Experience required

The role involves working with analysts, the Test Lead and Senior Test Analyst(s) to determine and identify any new testing requirements and liaising with IT development and analysts to ensure that testing specifications are delivered to the highest quality.
Specific Role Responsibilities
• Work with developers, testers and analysts to implement and execute strategies that ensure software satisfies the business requirements and is delivered to the highest quality;
• Discuss, understand and document client and/or internal business testing requirements with clients and internal staff;
• Work with analysts to manage testing carried out by the client to have the software/ processes signed off;
• Defining test coverage to minimize business risk;
• Generate clear and concise summaries on defects, communicate these defects to developers as well as manage and review the defect resolution process;
• Communicate with other staff to discuss testing and business issues of a wider and/or cross-divisional nature;
• Identify areas for test automation and develop automated test scripts as required;
• Work with developers, testers and analysts during the development phase to ensure business requirements are met and that testing documents are kept up to date;

Role Description

About this role
Reporting to FNZ (Europe) DAC CFO you will be a key member of the finance team who’s primarily responsibility is the production of the consolidated financial reporting. You will own key processes within the management and statutory reporting cycles and you will take the lead on our key processes such as the Group wide intercompany process.
Role Responsibilities
· Preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts & board packs including balance sheet reconciliation and variance analysis;
· Consolidation of EU DAC entities on a monthly basis with preparation of regional management reporting;
· Support European finance function in day to day tasks, including collaboration with finance teams across the globe;
· Support on-boarding of new DAC branches and aligning reporting across Europe and the Group;
· Manage DAC intercompany positions and oversee intercompany reconciliation process for the Group;
· Prepare statutory accounts (under IFRS) for the consolidated EU DAC and some of the Group’s non-operational companies;
· Lead EU DAC audit process and co-ordinate audit deliverables across EU DAC branches;
· Prepare regulatory reporting files and ensure these are submitted accurately and on time;
· Prepare and support various VAT returns across European entities;
· Support wider FNZ Europe finance team to achieve global FNZ objectives. This will include ad-hoc project work and the provision of timely financial information to inform strategic decision making throughout the year.

Delivery Management
Manage the delivery of the project through the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to implementation.
Ensure the project delivers in-line with the FNZ Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) and associated quality gates. Tracking that these are actively followed and managed on each project.
Create and maintain an end to end project plan that delivers the agreed scope of the project to time, budget and quality criteria.
Ensure the FNZ Solution Centre understands all build scope through approved designs and specifications in accordance with the SDLC, collaborate with them to create a build and test plan that delivers against project milestones.
Be actively involved in the delivery of each project by coordinating the day to day running of the project to ensure it achieves its expected milestones.
Have strong relationships and take accountability for working with all FNZ Directorates/areas to agree scope, timelines and artefacts in order to ensure delivery of the project in line with overall agreed plan.
Take accountability for the overall estimating process for a project, and work collaboratively with the Lead Solution Consultant, Delivery Manager, and the Test Manager to estimate the work effort required to deliver the project scope within the agreed timescales and budgets.
Maintain accurate project status and project financial reporting for the entire project team.
Provide timely, precise, accurate and comprehensive project MI both internally and externally to FNZ customers.
Understand the FNZ products and technology so you are able to identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies through the full project lifecycle.
Build mitigation plans for all risks and issues, and take ownership for ensuring these mitigation plans are executed, or escalated
as is appropriate.
Understand the commercial environment FNZ operates within and be able to identify any changes which might impact FNZ commercially in advance to the Account Director.
Have strong relationships with 3rd party suppliers and ensure they are engaged appropriately and contracts are in place and managed to ensure the required outcomes for FNZ.
Manage all operational readiness activities associated to the project, as required, ensuring that the appropriate training and handovers take place ahead of go-live.
Undertake post implementation reviews and ensure that lessons learned are captured and shared with the rest of the PM community.



Team Leadership
Lead, manage and motivate a virtual team in multiple geographic locations, communicating project progress, and ensuring all team members take accountability for delivery.
Motivate, mentor and encourage project team members to utilise themselves to their full potential and take accountability for their assigned work.
Create a culture of continuous improvement on the project, support process improvement initiatives, and identify new process improvements.
Swiftly resolve any conflicts within the project team and/or related stakeholders both within and out with FNZ.
Be an active member of the PM community within FNZ, contributing to team sessions, supporting other Junior PMs and sharing best practice and lessons learned.
Knowledge of the regulatory environment in which FNZ operates, be responsible for managing the impact of all regulatory changes and ensure future change is built into project plans so FNZ clients have a compliant platform.



Required Industry Knowledge
Financial Services experience preferably investment/wealth/life and/or pensions products and the markets in which FNZ and our customers operate in.
An understanding of the regulatory environment FNZ operate within.
Managing 3rd party suppliers.
Significant experience in leading the delivery of business critical projects, preferably Software implementations within Financial Services.
Experience of managing stakeholders to executive levels.

Providing solutions and recommendations for the resolution of technical issues that arise, ensuring solutions meet the technical specs, design and non-functional requirements
Supporting changes through the testing; resolving data issues, complete unit testing and system documentation for ETL processes
Providing post implementation support once the migration is complete to support both the project and service & support teams in issue identification and resolution.

Experience required
Confident, and able to take initiative given client and delivery-focused environment
Good team communication skills, confident in dealing with internal and external clients
Highly developed written and oral communication skills
Strong relational database design experience working with MS Server
Proficient in data mapping and profiling techniques
Experience in using ETL tools, e.g. SSIS, Informatica
Experience in working on Business Intelligence projects
Superior analytical thinking
Able to prioritise own workload and work to aggressive deadlines with minimal supervision
