We are currently seeking to engage a Product Development Senior Technologist to join the Wasa R&D team. The position will be based in Stockholm. This is a full-time permanent position that reports to the Wasa CoE & Product Development Associate Director.

Role purpose
As part of Wasa’s Global R&D team, you will work closely with Global Marketing to lead the end-to-end development of new products, from initial concept to industrialization. Your focus will be on expanding Wasa with-in the core crispbread category and cross-technology categories, contributing to the brand evolution and global reach. The development of new products involves close collaboration with the Wasa Crispbread CoE and the Pilot Plant team. The role therefore involves frequent travel to Wasa’s Pilot Plant and Industrial Production site in Filipstad (Sweden), as well as the production facility in Celle (Germany).

Your work will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of the Wasa brand through innovation and organic geographic expansions.

Key Accountabilities
Collaborate with the Marketing team to shape the Product Development Strategy, guiding the process from design definition and prototyping to final industrial production.
Identify and assess new materials and suppliers, determining the most suitable ingredients for the products in terms of quality, safety, and cost-efficiency, in partnership with Q&FS;, Purchasing, Finance and supply chain teams.
Organize, conduct & document lab, pilot plant and industrial trials to optimize and define recipe and production parameters, support consumer research and select manufacturing solutions
Prepare product standard specifications, including physical, chemical, organoleptic and microbiological characteristics
Define product shelf-life by doing structured evaluations with consumers, specialists and sensory panel test
Working with the Industrialization team and Plants, organize and conducts production startup assuring product delivery in accordance with projects milestones
Maintain a constant awareness of competitor activity


Your Profile
We are looking for a structured, responsible and innovative person with attention to details. You are curious about the industry and keeping yourself updated on business trends and new products in the market. You have strong communication skills and enjoy working with many different people and cultures. You have an academic degree in Science (food related is preferred but not necessary) and at least 5 years of experience in product development or similar relevant roles. You have excellent knowledge in English, Swedish is a major advantage while German or Italian are considered a plus. We trust that you have strong computer skills and are used to working with administration and documentation. Further, you enjoy working independently and proactively to ensure success of your own projects and have a strong drive to constantly improve processes.

Junior Finance Specialist
We are looking to recruit a business minded, analytical and proactive Junior Finance Specialist for our Nordic Head Office in Central Stockholm. You will be part of the Nordic team consisting today of 4 people. To be successful in the role, you are self-driven, have an eye for details, while at the same time keep in mind the bigger picture. Key Accountabilities


Trading terms for Sweden:
In close cooperation with KAM, you are responsible to ensure correct trade terms management for both Foodservice and Retail business in assigned countries including set-up of SAP agreements and actual bookings of customer invoices in line with Company guidelines.
You are accountable to update sales field tool (ARGUS) with Promo, Listings and tender offers (Foodservice) per customer in a timely and accurate manner.
You perform regular update of master data/customer on Foodservice and Retail, communicate changes/updates and ensure correct internal system data input managed by controlling and customer service teams.
Accountable for pricelists updating at SKU level and internal information.
You are the main financial point of contact for our customer invoicing departments.


Credit management for the Nordics:
Prepare monthly credit management reports for the Nordics.
Analyze variances for invoices to make sure they are paid.
Maintain contact with customers in case of price differences.
In addition, you will work as the Nordic contact point and also handle ad hoc reports.



Qualifications:
University degree in Economics, Business Administration or equivalent.
Previous experience in business controlling is an advantage.
Very good knowledge of MS office, especially Excel.
SAP knowledge is a plus.
Fluent English is a must, fluent Swedish is considered an advantage.

Are you an analytical Category Manager with experience within in FMCG? Do you want to work in a family own company yet with international width?

Sales Developer
We are looking for a Sales Developer to join us at the Stockholm office. This is a permanent position that will be appointed as soon as possible. In this role, you will work together with several of our internal departments such as Trade & Category, Marketing, Finance and of course Retail field sales and KAM. You will report to Head of Sales Retail Sweden.

The purpose of the role is to drive, administrate and follow up Retail fields sales plans material and tools throughout our five Sales Cycles during the year. You will be responsible for analysing data and define gaps and set targets in-order to reach our goals and budget.

Key Accountabilities

Develop best possible Sales Cycle targets and focus area in line with plan and budget. Present on-going plans and status at our internal meetings. Weekly follow up and report performance to sales team.
Ongoing analyse of Sales performance and Market data (ex; from Argus, ACNielsen, Delfi) in order to propose action to close gaps and better reach our targets. For example, visit, distribution, order taking, volume/value sales, promotion evaluation, shares, assortment, new launces, volume estimates and share of shelf.
Update our Sales CRM program Argus with various data and executing reports.
Continues support and training to develop the sales force in team and individual performance.
Support preparation of negotiation, agreement, cost control vs budget, create PO/ES number and secure that payment is due on time regarding local Sales Rep warehouses and Sales Conferences.
Travel throughout the year with Sales rep to see opportunities and areas of improvements to be used in upcoming Sales Cycle.


About you

We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of sales, retail in particular. The role is broad and requires both strategical thinking and operational work. You are analytical but also creative as you will be creating material for the sales force to present to customers. If you have experience or knowledge from training sales field this is a plus. You have excellent knowledge of Adobe, MS office, especially excel is a must. Argus, Nielsen data and SAP is a big plus. You are fluent in Swedish and English with an academic background and at least 2-5 years of working experience. You are outgoing and don’t shy away from public speaking. In this position you will ensure the continued development and implementation of the Wasa global brand strategy and innovation program. You will manage projects for the development of the global Wasa brand global geo-expansion, innovation, communication and packaging design. Additionally you will be part of developing the brands sustainability strategy. As project leader you will manage coordination with the regions and the regional marketing teams as well as work directly with key stakeholders in R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing Research, Legal and Finance. The position reports to Marketing manager based in Stockholm.

Key Accountabilities:

Lead global innovation projects from start to finish from initial idea, to concept creation through the R&D process, production, and launch execution
Contribute to the long-term innovation pipeline by scouting new trend and consumer habits and needs and incorporating them into category portfolio architecture
Develop research and winning global innovation and communication concepts
Manage with the brand global expansion strategy adoption and execution in partnership
Ensure governance of the global Wasa brand equity in all areas of communication working with markets and external partners such as agencies
Lead global packaging design and artwork projects that strengthen our portfolio architecture positioning, together with external partners, such as design agencies and the art community.

Key Accountabilities:
As a Packaging Manager you are responsible for driving the long-term development of our packaging department in collaboration with the Production Manager and other functions within the plant in the areas of work environment, food safety, quality, technology, delivery, efficiency and staffing
You work on a daily basis to support the direct operation on issues that concern packaging
You are responsible for ensuring that goals regarding efficiency, cost and quality are achieved
You ensure an efficient production following up quality standards in accordance with internal and external regulations and requirements ((Barilla GMP, ISO22000, FSSC22000, Work environment ISO45001, ISO 14001 and Barilla's ethical code, and Barilla's values and culture)
You have direct reports and cooperate closely with other functions in both the production and other departments with a leading role in developing our business in the form of technology, working methods and organization

Your Profile:
To succeed in this role, you have experience of leading a diverse team, driving change and the ability to motivate and inspire others towards common long-term goals while you enjoy acting in the daily operations
You hold an engineering degree or equivalent
The packaging is staffing-intensive and the need for flexibility is high, which is an advantage if you have experience of

Vi söker nu en HSE&E Manager som vill vara med och driva utvecklingen av vår Wasafabrik i Filipstad! Barilla värnar om människors hälsa, säkerhet och miljö och som vår ansvariga för HSE&E fyller du en viktig funktion med ansvar för att främja en god arbetsmiljö och säkerhetskultur samt övervaka och driva miljö- och energiförbättringsprogram med målet att skapa en säker och hållbar arbetsplats. Du rapporterar direkt till vår fabriksdirektör och ingår i ledningsgruppen.
Arbetsuppgifter:
Tyngdpunkten i rollen ligger på att arbeta med arbetsmiljö i syfte att främja en god säkerhetskultur inom alla delar av verksamheten i Filipstad.
Du ansvarar för ledningssystemet för personsäkerhet, samordnar certifieringsarbetet samt arbetar med arbetsmiljöfrågor såsom riskanalyser, uppföljning av tillbud och olyckor samt leder arbetet i Arbetsmiljökommittén.
Du är ett viktigt stöd för samtliga chefer i organisationen när det gäller arbetsmiljöarbetet.
I rollen ingår även att vara miljöansvarig med ansvar för att driva aktiviteter för att nå uppsatta miljömål både lokalt och globalt samt samordna miljöcertifieringsarbetet. Bland annat innebär det drivning av miljöarbetet, miljöriskbedömningar, mätningar av buller och stoft, rapportering till myndigheter etc
Som säkerhetsansvarig ansvarar du för företagets systematiska brandskyddsarbete, yttre och inre skalskydd samt är kontaktperson till vår externa bevakningstjänstleverantör.
Du kommer även att vara kontaktperson, både mot myndigheter och Barilla, gällande sitens energimätetal och energieffektiviseringsarbete.
