Responsibilities
Duration: 1 Year fixed term contract.
We are seeking highly motivated GPU Software Engineer to join our team. In this role –

Work with the external game development partners of AMD to enable them to produce their applications as efficiently as possible

Work with AMD’s architecture specialists to improve future products

Apply a data minded approach to target optimization efforts

Stay informed of software and hardware trends and innovations, especially pertaining to algorithms and architecture

Design and develop new groundbreaking AMD technologies

Participating in new ASIC and hardware bring ups

Debugging/fix existing issues and research alternative, more efficient ways to accomplish the same work

Develop technical relationships with peers and partners
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The ideal candidate is a highly skilled software designer and engineer, strong in 3D math, fluent in C and C++ and the efficient use of discrete GPUs, APUs, and CPUs. You are team-driven and motivated to do things others might find too difficult. Able to communicate effectively and work optimally with different teams across AMD.
WHAT WOULD SET YOU APART:

GCN / RDNA graphics architecture experience

Experience with DirectX 12 and/or Vulkan graphics APIs

Familiarity with machine learning concepts and programming Visa mindre

THE ROLE:
The candidate will work on the OpenMP compiler in the optimizer and runtimes to implement more efficient executables for execution on the AMDGPU.

THE PERSON:
Familiarity with modern compiler internal design and implementation is desired. LLVM and/or GNU compiler background is ideal. Familiarity with OpenMP programming language highly desired.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· The candidate will help drive the implementation of optimizations for next generation GPUs.
· During the first year, the candidate will be fully up to speed and contributing to the next generation OpenMP project.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
· Ideal candidates have worked in industry on a production compiler.
· Knowledge of C/C++ highly desired. Fortran is a plus.

The Role:
AMD maintains relationships with key software and hardware vendors to ensure that our customers have solutions that meet their business and technical needs. AMD seeks an experienced alliance manager to work with Game Developers and Publishers.
The Person:
The Sr. Developer Relations Manager will work internally with Product, Marketing and Engineering teams to establish direction and priority for technology implementation and support. This manager would also oversee and manage the engineering plans and engagements. The Sr. Developer Relations Manager will be a key contributor to AMD partner strategy and execution.

Key Job Responsibilities:
· Manage and develop relationships with ISV game publishers and developers.
Champion AMD technology (FidelityFX, multi-core, graphics and other software features and technologies), and drive partners to bring their games to market optimized and stable on AMD platforms.
· Help develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for working with game developers, including technology adoption, partner marketing and joint sales initiatives
· Work with AMD’s Sales Group to drive GTM market initiatives for AMD products
· Provide AMD with extensive knowledge of partner products and organization. Serve as the resident domain expert for internal AMD groups including Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, Platform Engineering, Sales, and Public Relations.
· Exhibit deep understanding of AMD products, platforms, and technologies.
· Present to and collaborate with AMD and partner executives to set long-range business objectives
· Identify new technologies, trends, and leading game developers and publisher that will create opportunity and demand for AMD products.

Preferred Experience:
· Demonstrate strong communication, co-ordination, and cooperation skills across all levels of organizations and the ability to develop compelling recommendations for managed segments.
· Exhibit strong leadership and cross-functional management skills.
· Possess strong influencing and negotiating skills with customers and partners
· Demonstrate a strong, established track-record of senior management interface; display confidence working directly with senior engineering, marketing, and sales management to effect directional change of business objectives for AMD.
· The ability to professionally and diplomatically represent AMD during new and emerging opportunities in partner meetings and in customer presentations.
· A willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time to locations in the EMEA and internationally.

Qualifications/Requirements:
· Game industry experience; marketing, production, or business development a plus
· Management experience.
· Must have worked from concept, prototype, and final retail shipping product on at least two PC or console titles.
· Must have an expert understanding of the Games industry and strong personal relationships in your region
· Must have a reasonable grasp of graphics concepts, coding experience a plus.
· Must have excellent project management and Business development skills.
· Must have outstanding written and oral communication skills in both Russian and English.
· Ability to work with minimal supervision and be a self-starter.
· Ability to work in a high pressure fast moving environment
· Requires a strong understanding of customer needs, advanced coordination and organizational skills, plus effective communication, and relationship management skills
