As Senior Scientist Electron Microscopy at Vironova you will join a multicultural team of passionate scientists focusing on delivering projects to the highest quality and on time to our clients.

Our clients are mainly found in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry working in the vaccine and drug/gene delivery field. As the demand for our services is constantly increasing, we are now looking for people with experience in both nsTEM and cryoTEM.

You will:

Be working in the first Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliant EM facility. Here you will take active part in maintaining and continue the development of our laboratory, quality system and working processes. You will be involved in cross functional activities to support marketing & sales and to interact with clients. You will also support our R&D department to further develop our proprietary image analysis software and increase our portfolio of EM analysis methods. You will run several projects at a time, which require good multitasking skills and a flexible, service oriented approach.

Sample preparation for negative stain electron microscopy and cryo electron microscopy
Characterise and analyse different nanoparticles using negative stain and cryo electron microscopy
Image analysis of nanoparticles and reporting, using our in-house developed software, VAS

What you need to succeed:

As a person you are analytical and structured. You like to be part of a team, are committed and responsible. You enjoy learning new things as well as being a good educator.

You have:

Extensive experience in nsTEM and cryoTEM (?4 years experience)
Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
A good scientific and quality mindset

As UX Lead you will be given the opportunity to set the structure of our UX work from an early phase while being involved in designing the future for our users.

You will:

- Be an important part of Vironova's continued development and a first step in a UX function at the company. Our goal is that it shall be easy to use our applications.

- Have an overall role where you will support product owners in how to think about requirements, features and how to create the best customer experience.

- Be involved in setting up processes and flows to ensure that UX becomes an integral part of our work.

- Work hands-on with supporting our developers in how to think about design, create wireframes and mockups.

- Lead user tests and provide analysis from end users (how they use our products).

What you need to succeed:

- We think you are an experienced UX designer
- You keep track of best practices, are used to teach UX to your colleagues and are comfortable with meeting customers

Som person är du noggrann, målmedveten och initiativtagande. Du har förmåga att arbeta självständigt såväl som i grupp. För att bli framgångsrik i rollen behöver du ha:

- Erfarenhet av liknande arbetsuppgifter
- Kandidatexamen eller liknande

As Senior Quality Assurance Manager you will have an important role in Vironova’s further business and development journey and the continuous quality work of Vironova's services and products. You will:

- Work both strategically and operatively with different tasks within our quality system and our processes for delivering high quality services and products

- Work to ensure that the operations within Vironova Imaging Solutions (VIS) meet the GMP requirements as an independent control laboratory
- Approve documents, validation activities, deviations, changes, unexpected test results and complaints
- Write, review and approve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other governing documents
- Take active part in external audits and internal self-inspections
- Evaluate and approve suppliers
- Take an active part in the further building of our quality and improvement culture

- Take part in our operational excellence work to continuously improve and learn with the possibility to act as a project leader for cross-functional improvement projects

What you need to be successful:

This is a senior role and we expect you to have extensive experience from quality and improvement work within pharmaceutical development

- Minimum Bachelor of Science in chemistry, biology, medicine, pharmacy, engineering or similar, preferably MSc or higher (PhD is meritorious)
- Long standing experience from Life Science, preferably within Pharmaceutical development or a production environment
- Deep knowledge of Analytical and/or Bioanalytical chemistry with practical experience of different analytical techniques
- Deep knowledge of the regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry and documented training in “GxP”
- Practical experience of both external audits and internal self-inspections
- Practical experience of working with investigations and assessments of deviations, changes errands, CAPAs and risk management
- Experience of project management, operational excellence with LeanSigma methodology and/or quality management with ISO9001 is a merit

We are an independent function within the company that plays an important role for the quality of Vironova’s services and products and we have the strategic responsibility for the quality system and the continuous improvement and development of it. We monitor the business performance of the company´s main processes on a continuous basis and coordinate reviews and follow ups. For Operational excellence and continuous improvement, we act as project leaders for cross-functional improvement projects of different kind.
