Want to come and build an iconic brand with us?

We’re on an exciting journey of reinventing the foods we love - starting with cheese. With the first product being launched, it’s all about getting the buzz out while growing the team and deciding on our next strategic steps. For that, we need a Senior Brand Manager to join the team and take lead on several important areas. Is the design on point? How do we best talk with our friends and expand our Stockeld consumer base? How do we talk in the most impactful way? Our ambitions are sky high, we need yours to be too.

Our strategy and where we’re at

With the ambition to become a category leader and build a company to last, we are not taking things lightly. We are investing heavily in developing superior products and we need an outstanding brand identity, presence and tone of voice in all conversations to ensure that people get us and our products. The marketing team is at the beginning of their growth journey and with two marketeers on board (Head of Marketing & Product and SoMe & Comms Manager) you will play an essential role to bring the brand to life. Not only that, you will work very close with the Product Managers belonging to the same team.

Initially we will focus on the Swedish market with the purpose of learning more about our brand and our products before we expand to other geos. Our products will be sold in a number of channels ranging from restaurants and cafeterias to large scale retail and D2C.

The role

Being our first Senior Brand Manager means having the opportunity to create, build and establish Stockeld as THE iconic cheese brand that people will give a sh*t about. You’ll be key in nailing our tonality, presence and positioning in order to become the world’s most ambitious cheese.

To concretise a bit, you will be juggling many stakeholders (both internally and externally) and work closely with current, and establish new, agency relationships. As our SBM, you will lead the design development, leverage brand building activities and of course keep your ears close to the ground in terms of market insights and trends. We will hit new geo grounds in the near future and knowing how to identify the local nuances will be of great importance. You will also lead the work of setting up relevant KPI structures and how to measure our cheese success.

This is not the ordinary SBM role, this is the chance to really make an impact and do things that haven't been done before. You will report to the Head of Marketing & Product and work closely with Sales, PR and Product Development.

Who we believe you are

You don’t have to be vegan, actually none of us are 100% strict about it, but we do expect you to have worked in senior marketing roles before, at some point with food/FMCG and it would be awesome if you have a passion for food. You might come from an agency, a (food) start-up or another creative environment where your savvy communication skills, strategic creative height, sharp eyes for copy and high proficiency in impactful brand building has been put in practice.

We believe you have 8-10 years of marketing experience and have worked in a dynamic (potentially global) environment before. You are comfortable with setting up the creative process, understanding the consumer dynamics and how to best identify relevant market insights.

As a person, you have a hands-on prestigeless mentality, an analytical and structured way of working with attention to detail. As communication is key, your verbal and writing skills are top-notch in both Swedish and English.

After two years of R&D we have now launched our first product with a very positive response from the market! Taking this first step is scary but at the same time super exciting. With two more products to be launched the coming year and with many more to come, we are dedicated to continue to build a first class R&D team. With the existing team, we have the competencies and capacity needed for driving NPD and we are therefore looking to complement the team with a dedicated Food Reseacher.

Are you our next Dreamer to join our journey of producing the world's most ambitious cheese?

Our strategy and where we’re at
With the ambition to become a category leader and build a company to last, we are not taking things lightly. With the ambition to grow the team +20 during the coming 18 months we are dedicated to build and maintain one of the strongest technical teams there is.

The role
As a Food Researcher you will be part of the very core of our company. From researching new areas in food technology to evaluating your findings in the lab, you will work with researching new ingredients, processes and packaging alternatives as well as supporting the new product development projects.

The majority of your time will be spent researching and evaluating your findings and ideas in the laboratory, where you will be planning, designing and executing relevant experiments. You will collaborate with the product development and be involved in different projects depending on your expertise and interest, it could be in formulations, sensory evaluations or nutritional calculations.

You will collaborate closely with the rest of the R&D team (+8 individuals) and you will report to me, Monica Gonzalez, R&D Manager.

Who you are

At least Ms in Food Science, Chemical / Biotech Engineering or similar field

Throughout your career in the industry so far, you have gained knowledge in complex food systems, nutrition and food safety and it's a great plus if you are especially familiar with surface and colloid chemistry, protein design or fermentation and eager to fill in any blanks.

As a person you are self-driven, innovative and have a solution oriented mindset. You believe that ‘caring is sharing’ and enjoys sharing knowledge and research insights with the rest of the team. Lastly, working in a fast-paced environment means that we all need to be flexible, efficient and prestigeless team-players in order to reach our mission.

We are getting our own pilot plant!
With one product already being launched and with three more cheeses in the pipeline, we are investing heavily in building a solid and proactive Production Operation & Supply Chain function. To reach the aggressive expansion plans of ours, we are just about to get our own pilot plan and we need someone to take the full responsibility for it.

We are therefore looking for a Process Engineer who will, in close collaboration with the R&D team, have an important role in scaling our lab-prototypes to large scale production.

The role
As Process Engineer, a.k.a boss of our pilot plant, your main responsibility will be to operate and maintain the pilot plant. Besides being the one setting up and conducting pilot runs, you will be modifying and ordering the right equipment, defining production parameters and calculating production parameters to optimize for large scale production.

In order to meet targeted product quality, you will work closely with the R&D team and our co-manufacturers, of whom you will educate and support to implement all quality control parameters specified by R&D (HACCP). Furthermore, you will compile and analyse the results of the pilot and production runs in order to identify improvements and adjustments necessary to optimise production according to product specifications.

As can be imagined, the majority of your time will be spent at the pilot plant in Nacka, Stockholm. The rest of the time will be spent at our office and lab facilities in Solna. As we are to expand internationally, you should also expect to travel to co-manufacturing sites in Europe and the US.

You will be part of the Production and Supply Chain team and report to Ali Afsar-Nazari, Head of Production Operation & Supply Chain.

Who we believe you are
You don’t have to be vegan, actually none of us are 100% strict about it, but we expect you to have a couple of years experience from production and processing equipment from either food or pharmaceutical manufacturing. Educational wise, you have a university degree from food technology or engineering.

You will benefit from having experience from calculating, designing and dimensioning production processes in terms of pressure, flow, temperature and volume parameters. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and six sigma will be helpful as well.

To thrive as our Process Engineer you enjoy the balance of being independent and collaborate with internal as well as external stakeholders. Important personal traits are to be self going, communicative with the ability to prioritize when unexpected situations and issues occur. You are structured, pay attention to details and have a high quality awareness, where you always aim to find opportunities and solutions.

Not the ordinary Product Manager - is that you?
The last two years have been all about R&D where we have developed our Protein Technology Platform which in essence means enabling us to create the worlds’ most ambitious cheese. In early May we launched our first product using this platform, and we have an ambitious plan to roll out a complete product portfolio with another three products by the end of 2022.

We are now looking for two additional Product Managers to take full responsibility and ownership of specific products in a super dynamic and cross disciplinary / functional role. One could say that you’d actually become the CEO of a specific product and hence have a critical impact on the business growth.

The role
Being a Product Manager at Stockeld means that you basically have the full ownership of one or several products in the portfolio. This means that we will count on you to successfully take our NPD's to market, be responsible for their performance, future market expansions, defining market trends and gaps and come with recommendations on innovation pipelines.

You will project manage the development process from prototype to launch and take lead on the various activities needed to get there (incl. packaging development, business case ownership and performance tracking). This role will entail a hybrid perspective combining the commercial, technical and strategic dimensions of the business.

In this position you will report to myself (Katarina Szostak, Head of Product & Marketing) and work closely with R&D, Supply Chain and Sales.

Lastly, and maybe one of the most important things, being part of this awesome expansion journey means that there will be endless opportunities for your role and responsibilities to grow. You’re up for a fun ride, promise!

Who we believe you are
You don’t have to be vegan, actually none of us are 100% strict about it, but we expect you to have 6-10 years experience from the food & beverage industry. You have successfully championed complex NPD projects with multiple stakeholders, taken ownership and both defined and delivered on business KPIs in a fast-paced organisation. So, being a rockstar in project management is a given.

Your experience from shaping and owning Business Cases have set you up for having a strong business acumen. Your profound communication skills (in English and/or Swedish) means you collaborate efficiently with a diverse range of stakeholders, from clients to scientists. Educational wise, you have a degree in Business/Marketing/Engineering.

When it comes down to personal traits, we believe that the description above reflects a self-starter with a strong intellectual curiosity and someone who solves problems in a creative way. Being structured and assertive in combination with disruptive and agile thinking is a winning recipe!

Taking our production to next level

After two years of R&D we have now launched our first product with a very positive response from the market! Taking this first step is scary but at the same time super exciting. With the plan to launch two more products during the coming year and with an international expansion around the corner, we are to scale our Production Operations & Supply Chain function.

We are looking for another Doer to join the team in order to get ourselves ready to take on the world by ensuring a top class production and distribution of the world’s most ambitious cheese!

Our strategy and where we’re at

With the ambition to become a category leader and build a company to last, we are not taking things lightly. We are investing heavily in developing superior products where smooth operations and supply chain will be key. Initially we will focus on the Swedish market with the purpose of learning more about our brand and our products before we expand to other markets. As part of our strategy we use co-manufacturers where procurement and sourcing will play a key role throughout the whole supply chain.

The role

In close collaboration with Ali Afsar-Nazari, Head of Production Operation & Supply Chain, it will all come down to ensure operational excellence. This will be done by building a strong production and supply chain consisting of reliable suppliers and co-manufacturer, trustworthy distributions and smooth logistics. Given the broadness of the role, we gave up the idea of describing the responsibilities in a fancy way and went with the following concrete list instead:

1- Procurement & Sourcing: source and secure raw materials and services from suppliers followed by continuous evaluating and negotiating contracts to secure long term access with optimised pricing.

2- Logistics: considering our fresh and chilled products while setting up the best possible logistic solution with 3rd party distributors to meet the needs of our customers.

3- Production: evaluate, set up contracts, monitor and visit co-manufacturing sites both in Sweden and Europe.

4- Quality: evaluate and ensure quality standards for food manufacturing from production facilities to the warehouses.

As can be told from the above, you will be collaborating with several external stakeholders as well as working closely with our R&D team to understand the needs of raw materials and be aligned with the Commercial team regarding suppliers and logistics.

Taking one step back, this position will, literally, be key for a successful expansion ahead, how exciting isn’t that?

Who we believe you are

You don’t have to be vegan, actually none of us are 100% strict about it, but we do expect you to have, preferably international, experience from procurement, sourcing and supply chain management. That experience may come from 5 or 15 years in the food or FMCG, but we honestly don’t know. What we do know is as we will trust your advice within the area, your high level of knowledge and expertise will speak for itself.

Educational wise, we think that you have a MSc in Economics or engineering and experience from raw material sourcing in the food industry may be beneficial as well.

As you will work with a lot of different people, from different countries and cultures, you are skilled in building long lasting relationships and have strong communication skills. In order to stay cool while a lot of things are going on, you are structured, analytical and have a systematic way of working. Furthermore, being a small company where change is a consistent factor, your independent and proactive approach will be fundamental.

Our mission: re-inventing the foods we love
At Noquo Foods, we are on a mission to reinvent the foods we love. By using science and technology we aim to develop plant based food alternatives that are tastier, more nutritious and sustainable. We are currently taking on what is most likely one of the hardest challenges in the food industry, to make a delicious cheese using only plants!

Why you should join us
This could be your opportunity to make a change. Being part of the team means that you will contribute towards a healthier planet by developing truly differentiated food products. You might have operated at a much larger scale in the past, but this will be the chance to come in early and lead the development of our products as well as the team. Furthermore, innovation in a fast paced environment will be your new normal as you will join an ambitious and purpose driven startup that is financially strong and ready to challenge the status quo.

The role
We are a fast growing company and as Head of R&D, I’m now looking for a partner to together lead the team as well as strategically important product development projects. I’ll count on you to consistently improve our processes and ways of working in order to make us faster, more efficient and provide world class products to the masses.

As our R&D manager you will be involved in research, stay updated on the latest R&D development technologies and processes and therefore be well aware of the consumer expectations on our products. You will be involved in the research and make sure that all phases of the development are well documented and processed.

An important part of the role will be to lead parts of our R&D team and continue to foster a culture of trust, efficiency and collaboration. The current team consists of five stars and as we are planning to continue to grow, the leadership part of this role will be crucial for our future success!

Who you are
You don’t have to be vegan, actually none of us are 100% strict about it, but I do expect you to have solid experience from R&D and product innovation within food and from a cross-functional environment where you successfully lead and collaborate with teams.

To be victorious, I believe you are a dedicated and proven R&D manager who have implemented best practices for projects and processes as well as introduced and evaluated new food products to the market. You know how to prioritise resources throughout the development process and always meet deadlines.

It’s beneficial if you have experience in managing customer relationships, quality control and from FMCG business.

I also think that you...

- Have at least a Master’s degree in Science, ideally within Food Science
