Job summary
The goal of the Consultant is to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality consultancy advice to international and regional clients on sustainability topics. You will play a leading role in the development and overall management of proposals on climate change mitigation solutions as well as in the implementation of projects, for which you will manage project teams. You will be the main point of contact for the client and may also act as a collaborator, providing specific inputs or serving a specific role on a mandate. In addition, you will support the development of new products for the corporate sector and solutions at South Pole to address sustainability challenges.
Main responsibilities
Manage sustainability consulting mandates throughout their entire project cycle: initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure
Plan and implement projects to ensure the most efficient and highest-quality implementation
Interact and build relationships with our international, regional and local clients and manage the timely delivery of mandates
Develop proposals for the corporate sector on climate change mitigation solutions in close collaboration with the Key Account Management team and senior consulting professionals to support business development activities for the company
Provide high-level technical guidance and perform technical reviews of proposals and deliverables
Develop and improve specialised skills and knowledge linked to the topics and services offered by South Pole

Essential profile requirements
University degree ideally in Environmental Sciences or Engineering, Economics or other sustainability-related disciplines
Relevant knowledge of environmental sustainability challenges in multinational companies
Relevant work experience in sustainability consulting or a related field
Good project management skills, from both a technical and administrative standpoint, and ability to coordinate project teams in a multi-stakeholder and multi-geographies context
Excellent writing skills, with proven expertise in creating high-quality written documents (proposals and deliverables)
Good stakeholder and client management skills
Industry-relevant connections, with a network of potential clients, collaborators and other relevant stakeholders
Good understanding of environmental sustainability challenges and specific consultancy experience in the relevant areas of the practice
Autonomous yet collaborative approach to work
Excellent oral and written skills in English

Desirable profile requirements
A Master’s degree will be an advantage
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent working knowledge of all Google Suite applications and MS Word
Diligent, reliable, proactive and self-sufficient but collaborative approach to work

Job summary:
In this challenging position, you will be responsible for the Finance activities of our Swedish presence. You will also assist with accounting tasks in other countries, as a member of the Global Accounting team. As the local Senior Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating with stakeholders across South Pole and also external stakeholders to ensure reporting is complete in a timely fashion.
Main tasks & responsibilities:
Prepare and submit the monthly and yearly financial reporting pack and management accounts for the local entity;
Manage accounts receivable and credit control;
Accounts Payable and cash flow forecasts;
Coordinate with the Global Tax team the billing, review and reconciliation of intercompany recharges;
Review monthly payroll and Social Security calculations;
Ensure full local taxation compliance with the completion and submission of mandatory local direct and indirect tax returns;
Collaborate with Group Accounting Team on various global finance projects;
Document all accounting procedures and ensure they are in alignment with Group policies;
In coordination with the Global Tax team and the local consultants implement transfer pricing policy and procedures together with the review and submission.

Requirements:
Essential
CA/ACA/ACCA equivalent qualified
Relevant experience in international accounting and finance.
Swedish tax legislation and statutory reporting knowledge
Knowledge of Swedish GAAP
High-energy, flexible and responsive work style; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and fluent in English and Swedish.
Excellent IT skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Able to work closely in a diverse team, but also independently, able to liaise effectively with stakeholders within the organization.

Desirable
Experience at a Big 4 public accounting firm is a plus.
IFRS experience.

Job summary:
The goal of the Analyst is to support the implementation of international, regional and/or local projects, the preparation of proposals and the development of new products for the corporate sector. This includes a variety of tasks such as research, information analysis and writing deliverables and proposals on greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting services and climate change mitigation solutions. You will contribute to supporting project teams with medium-sized and large mandates and will also be expected to manage small projects yourself.
Main tasks & responsibilities:
Support with or lead the preparation and completion of proposals/deliverables for the corporate sector on greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting services and climate change mitigation solutions, including both technical and administrative requirements, to the level of quality required by South Pole and the client, for our international, regional and/or local clients
Manage small projects, including interacting with the client and the project team
Ensure assigned tasks/projects are delivered on time and within the available budget
Manage project information and knowledge according to our project management best practices
Support with the development and improvement of specialised skills, tools and knowledge linked to the topics and services offered by South Pole
Support business development activities through desktop research and developing materials to be shared with possible clients and partners
The topics of engagement will focus on GHG Accounting and disclosure, Plastics Footprint, Water Footprint. Occasionally, some projects might extend to additional corporate sustainability topics such as climate change mitigation, Science-Based Targets (SBTs), materiality assessment, and Life Cycle Analysis (LCA)

Requirements:
Essential
University degree, ideally in Environmental Sciences or Engineering, Economics or other sustainability-related disciplines
Relevant knowledge of environmental sustainability challenges in multinational companies
Entry-level experience in sustainability consulting or a related field, in topics related to environmental (carbon, plastics, water) footprinting and disclosure
Ability to conduct research tasks, analyse and summarise data
Ability to manage small projects in a multi-stakeholder and multi-geographies context
Good writing skills, with the ability to create high-quality written documents (proposals and deliverables)
Good communication and collaboration skills with clients, team members and other relevant stakeholders
Excellent oral and written skills in English and Swedish
