We are now looking for a Site Manager for the SICE Nordics project based in Gothenburg for one year with regular travels to Stockholm. After that, relocation to the headquarters in Stockholm is offered.
This position demands equally strong presence on site and strong ability to document and perform office work. You will be accessing a construction worksite on a regular basis.
The essential duties and responsibilities for this job are connected to the implementation of ITS & electromechanical systems within infrastructure projects (road & tunnel):
Become a contact point for SICE and SICE's representation in front of clients and other stakeholders on-site.
Supervise su-contractors making sure work is produced as planned (production, order & protection, environmental practices etc)
Review, handling and supervision of subcontractors documentation (workpreparations, incident reports, diares etc)
Environmental management duties on-site - safety round, material suitability and gathering documents by subcontractors (diaries, chemical list, vehicle list, ID06, installed materials etc.)
Health and Safety management duties on-site - safety rounds, double check and chase documents by subcontractors (diaries, chemical list, vehicle list, ID06, installed materials etc.)
Quality management duties on-site - make sure that quality practices are properly implemented by subcontractors and produce double checks when necessary.
Represent company in KMA meetings and other project level meetings, Report to head.
Produce routine documentation related to KMA. E.g. risk analyses, monthly reports, work preparations, instruction documents, plans etc.
Develop and assistance to prepare project-related documentation such as project plans, reports etc (under project manager's supervision)
Reception of materials and verification prior to installation. Log it to system.
Administration and daily work on client's platforms for documentation, notifications etc.
Sporadic support for KMA activités to other projects belonging to SICE Nordic.



Requirements for this job position are:
University Education as an Engineer
10+ years' experience working as a Technical Engineer
10+ years' experience working in Tunnel infrastructure
10+ years experience working with MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)
5+ years experience leading working on-site
Proficiency in English with excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Srong digital skills - most of the reporting an documentation will take place through digital platforms
Extensive use of MS Office package.

Role description
For the current job opening, we are looking for a Project engineer for the Nordics division.
The essential duties and responsibilities for this job are connected to the implementation of the traffic systems along the iconic Förbifart Stockholm:
Assistance to project manager.
Create, read, understand and review project documents ranging from top level design documents to detailed system design.
Daily work on both Swedish and English and translation from/to both languages.
Basic and detailed engineering: provide technical support in construction planning and design; resolution and documentation of design conflicts; etc.
Develop project-related documentation as well as test protocols and procedures (under project manager’s supervision)
Administration and daily work on client’s platforms for documentation, notifications, etc.
Represent company, project and/or department during project management meetings.
Develop, implement and administer project engineering procedures and other work controlling documents.
Interfacing with the project team at headquarters (Madrid).
This position might require occasional jobsite visits to active construction zones.



Requirements
Swedish mother tongue and proficiency in English with excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Recent graduate.
0-2 years of experience in similar assignments.
Proactivity and willingness to take further responsibilities.
Team player: open minded, collaborative, ready to help/support when needed.
Extensive use of MS Office package.
Good time management.
Must demonstrate eligibility to work in Sweden.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.



Additional valuable skills
Basic knowledge in 3D modelling, BIM modelling, drawings handling, etc.
Knowledge in Traffic Systems such as Tolling Systems, Intelligent Transport Systems, Tunnels, etc.
Previous working experience in Sweden’s national authorities such as Trafikverket
